JAY LETHAL & TRUTH MARTINI PROMO- good

RODERICK STRONG PROMO- good.

ROH WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Addiction(c) (w/Chris Sabin) vs. The Young Bucks- 7/10
Great action with some good twists and turns at the end. I understand why they had the overbooking, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt my enjoyment of the match.

ANGRY NIGEL PROMO- he announces that the Young Bucks have been added to the tag title match at All-Star Extravaganza VII. Nigel was good, as always.

ROH WORLD TITLE MATCH: Jay Lethal(c) (w/the House of Truth) vs. Roderick Strong- 8.5/10
Yeah… they aired a commercial right before the end of the match that spoiled the fact that Lethal retained (although you could say that the commercial lists Lethal as world champion because it was made before this show, when that would have been true when it was made). That was frustrating, but what’s even more frustrating was that this commercial didn’t mentioned any matches… and the perfect way to avoid spoiling this match would be hype Kyle O’Reilly up as the #1 contender for the world title at the PPV! GGRRRRRRR!
Other than that, the match was pretty darn fantastic, but between there being three commercial breaks in it and the live reports calling it an MOTYC, I’d really love to see the whole match un-cut. They could probably make a good amount of money by just putting the uncut versions of this match and Cole vs. Nakamura on the VOD section of the website for $5.

LETHAL STARES DOWN BOBBY & KYLE- good

An awesome show from ROH, as usual. Roddy’s super-ultra-amazing year continues. The AVERAGE rating for a Roderick Strong match this year (including everything from ROH, almost everything from PWG, and a good chunk of EVOLVE) is over an 8/10.
