TNA Bound For Glory 2014 Card:
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Bobby Lashley(c) vs. Bobby Roode
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Wolves(c) vs. The Hardy Boys
TNA WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH: Gail Kim(c) vs. Taryn Terrell
TNA X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH: Samoa Joe(c) vs. Low Ki
ELIMINATION TABLES MATCH: Team 3-D vs. Ethan Carter III & Rhino (w/Rockstar Spud)
THE GREAT MUTA vs. SANADA
JAMES STORM vs. YOSHIHIRO TAJIRI
TAG TEAM MONSTER’S BALL: Bram & Magnus vs. Abyss & Yoshihiro Takayama
ERIC YOUNG & AUSTIN ARIES vs. KENNY KING & MVP
ZEMA ION & BRO-MANS vs. THE MENAGERIE (w/Rebel)

HOW WE GET THERE:
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Bobby Lashley(c) vs. Bobby Roode
Roode is on a quest to dismantle MVP’s group. He beats MVP and King, but he now needs to beat Lashley. Kurt awards him a title shot after he gets a big win, and we have our match.
ERIC YOUNG & AUSTIN ARIES vs. KENNY KING & MVP-
Aries loses to Lashley at Destination X in part because King jumps him backstage, on orders from MVP. Young says that MVP stole his dream from him by screwing him out of the TNA World Title, so he and the like-minded Aries team up for face MVP & his henchman (and there’s a good story in there with King and Aries’ relationship, too)

TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Wolves(c) vs. The Hardy Boys
The Wolves beat the Hardys clean at Destination X to retain. In that match, the Hardys have some timing problems, and it is clear that Matt’s current style involves a lot less risk-taking than Jeff’s. Their chemistry is off. The next week, they cut a promo saying that they haven’t teamed much in the past six years, whereas the Wolves has spent almost that entire period of time developing into a well-oiled machine. The Hardys vow to return to the top of tag team wrestling. In the lead up to BFG, they run through the tag team division, with their chemistry getting back to what it once was, and they make a challenge to the Wolves, who gladly accept.

TNA WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH: Gail Kim(c) vs. Taryn Terrell
The Beautiful People cut a promo saying that they ruined the Gail vs. Taryn title match on the 7/24 Impact because Taryn hadn’t done anything to earn her title shot. While talking with Kurt Angle, Taryn agrees with this fact. She says that she appreciates Kurt giving her the match, but she wants to earn that shot the old-fashioned way. She spends the lead-up to BFG running through the knockouts roster, often with Gail on commentary putting her over and talking up the concept of a rematch.
Taryn also helps Gail in her feud with TBP, preventing Velvet from interfering when Angelina finally gets her one-on-one title rematch, which Gail wins.

TNA X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH: Samoa Joe(c) vs. Low Ki
Joe wins the belt in the tournament to crown a new champ after Aries vacates the belt. We build Low Ki up as a challenger and then… well… IT’S JOE VS. LOW KI!
(This could also work with Ki winning the belt, but I think putting the belt on Joe is better because Ki has been away for a few years, so giving him a bunch of wins to build him up as a contender both reestablishes him as a threat, and also makes him chasing the title a more emotional story than Joe chasing the title)

ELIMINATION TABLES MATCH: Team 3-D vs. Ethan Carter III & Rhino (w/Rockstar Spud)
EC III wants vengeance for
Hidden text.
Dixie being put through a table on TV,
and in order to do that, he wants to humiliate 3-D in their own match, forever leaving a black mark on their induction into the TNA Hall of Fame (also we can do an angle where Ethan, Rhino, & Spud take out Dreamer so that they will have someone in their corner while 3-D doesn’t).

THE GREAT MUTA vs. SANADA
Sanada wants to prove that his new mentor James Storm is much better than his old mentor, Muta. Under Muta’s tutelage, he lost to Muta at the big Wrestle-1 show on July 6th. Now, under James Storm’s tutelage, he will beat Muta in front of all of Japan and America at TNA’s Bound For Glory.

JAMES STORM vs. YOSHIHIRO TAJIRI-
Storm says he will prove that he is better than anyone Japan has to offer. Tajiri accepts the match.

TAG TEAM MONSTER’S BALL: Bram & Magnus vs. Abyss & Yoshihiro Takayama
Rumor has it that Bram and Abyss are booked for some sort of crazy hardcore match for the August NYC tapings, so I figured we’d run with that. The use of weapons will also play more into Magnus and Bram’s streetfighting past. The heels make the challenge, and Abyss sets out to choose a tag team partner. He chooses Takayama because Takayama managed to go toe-to-toe with him in their match at One Night Only: Global Impact Japan, even managing to get up and keep brawling after being slammed onto thumbtacks on the ramp (and a big name like Takayama appearing in a match that builds off of a previous TNA match in Japan should help them draw more interest for the show in Japan)

ZEMA ION & BRO-MANS vs. THE MENAGERIE (w/Rebel)
Okay; this is where things get crazy. The Bro-Mans… turn babyface.
The Menagerie need money for Knux’s family’s carnival, so they spend months victimizing poor Robbie E. in matches, with him getting scared and getting counted out, so they can win and make money. Zema and Jesse are getting frustrated and explain to Robbie that he needs to overcome his fear of clowns because if they keep losing so much, babes at the clubs won’t be as into them, and their party funds are running low because they haven’t won many matches this year.

THE RESULTS:
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Bobby Lashley(c) vs. Bobby Roode
Roode wins clean to win the title
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Wolves(c) vs. The Hardy Boys
Wolves win clean to retain the titles.
TNA WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH: Gail Kim(c) vs. Taryn Terrell
Hmm… this one’s a bit hard. If I know in advance I have a decent TV deal locked in place, I put Gail over. This way Gail can lose the belt to someone else at about Genesis. Taryn can beat that woman at Lockdown, and then you can build up to Gail vs. Taryn at Slammiversary with the hook being that Gail is 2-1 against Taryn. Taryn would win that match, so they are now 2-2, and you can save that big 5th match in your pocket for whenever you need it. In this scenario, the key is to give this the time it needs to live up to their first two matches.
If you don’t have a good enough TV deal in place, I think I would put Taryn over. If it is possible that this is the last big show TNA ever does, Taryn winning her first Knockouts Title seems like a good way to cap things off.

TNA X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH: Samoa Joe(c) vs. Low Ki
The winner all depends on Ki’s attitude. If you think he isn’t going to… you know… be Low Ki, then put the belt on him. If not, put Joe ever.

ELIMINATION TABLES MATCH: Team 3-D vs. Ethan Carter III & Rhino (w/Rockstar Spud)
Not only does Spud constantly interfere, but it turns out that EC III has paid off a bunch of Wrestle-1 young boys as well. Despite this interference, 3-D prevails, with all of the heels going through a table.

THE GREAT MUTA vs. SANADA
Sanada goes over on a big stage, getting a win that should raise his stock tremendously in Wrestle 1, and in TNA as well, if they are smart.

JAMES STORM vs. YOSHIHIRO TAJIRI
Storm wins. Tajiri is enough of a name that he will draw some American eyeballs, beating him will mean something for Storm, and they’ll probably have a damn good match.

TAG TEAM MONSTER’S BALL: Bram & Magnus vs. Abyss & Yoshihiro Takayama
Bram and Magnus win, with Abyss taking the fall because I doubt Takayama will want to.

ERIC YOUNG & AUSTIN ARIES vs. KENNY KING & MVP
Babyfaces get their revenge. Hooray.

ZEMA ION & BRO-MANS vs. THE MENAGERIE (w/Rebel)
Robbie refuses to tag in, especially when Crazzy Steve is in the ring (maybe he actually runs up the ramp whenever Steve tags in). He buddies are getting beaten up, though. Jesse is recovering on the outside, totally out of it and Zema is getting his butt kicked by Knux, The Freak, and Steve. When Zema manages to get in a desperation counter on Knux, and he crawls over to his corner, Robbie E. bravely accepts the tag and runs wild on the Menagerie. First he hits some moves on Knux, who is the most normal of all of them. Then he gets some offense in on The Freak before sending him out of the ring with a low bridge. Then he comes face to face with Crazzy Steve… and he freezes up. Steve approaches, and Robbie starts shaking in fear. He seems as if he might wet himself at any moment. Steve pulls out his horn and honks it.
BIG RIGHT HAND FROM ROBBIE! He runs wild, and pins Crazzy Steve to get his team the win!
