Bring Back EWA/WWR shows

Post by Nic » Apr 7th, '13, 21:00

I was talking to dozer and posted BRM about it

but I want the "Roster's" thoughts

I was thinking that we bring EWA/WWR back as 1 show, 1x a month for now kind of like TNA's PPV days, just with better wrestlers and storylines.

to help out BRM while he's busy.. I asked Dozer if he would be willing to help out with booking and writing.. I figure Im crippled and pretty much sit on my ass all day that I could do the booking and some writing and get idea's from others

it'll also be open to other writers as Im not the best ;)

so what are your idea's on bring this back and starting fresh?

new roster's
new (updated) chara/wrestlers
new storylines

let me know

Mine, too, aside from special instances or matches that I really want to write. I'll still book, though. That's much more fun.

I think there is a middle ground between just writing the result and writing out every last thing that happens that is certainly achievable.

*Arrives*

Was always a strain writing a 5 page plus match for a couple of midcarders, for me anyway.

i was thinking maybe a 4k limit per match (writing wise) cause its just over a page and a half...plus i figure there would be segments and breaks through out the card

ok we can simplify the matches and just write the entrance and the finish or maybe just the middle

WELCOME BACK! WELCOME BACK! WELCOME BACK!

Also I totally agree with you about the midcarders thing, especially when the point of the match was just to make someone look strong with a win, rather than to do something that actively advanced an angle

I wouldn't limit how long matches can be so much as I would limit how often they will be fully written. If someone really wants to right a lot, why should we stop them (unless they are missing deadlines)

i didnt mean it as a limit..just around there because that'll be enough for a short match, even with commentary and other stuff

so since a few of us are in agreement

we need to figure out whose going to do what,

We also need to figure out if we are doing EWA, WWR, or something new, how we will merge the rosters, and whatever else

well i have a friend fixing up a efed that we was going to run..with me as the main boss if yall wanna do that

but i figure we can merge the two together, maybe have one big "war games" multi-ring dual cage like wcw used to do..put each champ against eachother to unify the belts

but thats my idea

Grrr... I hate doing that right off the bat for no reason. I think it is best to wait a while, especially since there aren't that many belts.

well over say 2 months each show can do their shows (4 shows each) ((if possible))(((I could do a bit of the writing)))

just give me idea's or we can all come up with some idea's to get each show up and running again...tho with just the what 4-5 of us talken we need to figure out what the rest of the "rosters" will do, can do or are willing to do

then figure out whose all on board and move from there.

also on a e-fed deal I.C was Phreak has died he over dosed at a show for sin city wrestling when they were in singapore and he died on march 30th at the hospital

but I have another chara or two i will bring in
.....

but like i said we need to figure out whose all on board

Don't just kill off a character! Other people had plans for him.
