TNA Hardcore Justice 2012 (8/12/2012)- Orlando, FL
GUNNER & KID KASH vs. HERNANDEZ & CHAVO GUERRERO JR- 5.75/10
Standard tag formula but good action. Especially the mid-air tag. That was awesome.
20 POINT BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH: Pope vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Magnus- 6.25/10
Before the match, Aces & Eights attack Pope. Then Anderson decides it is a good idea to cut a promo with his back facing the area where Aces & Eights were last seen.
MADISON RAYNE PROMO- eh.
Last month, Austin Aries had to vacate the X-Division Title in order to get a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Title because Hogan said that one man cannot be the champion of two divisions. Tonight, with no hype at all, one of the tag team champions is being given a shot at the TV Title.
TNA TV TITLE MATCH: Devon(c) vs. Kazarian- 5.5/10
Grrr… from a kayfabe point of view, why is Earl Hebner being assigned as the referee for this match?
TNA KNOCKOUTS’ TITLE MATCH: Miss Tessmacher(c) vs. Madison Rayne- 5/10
I’m really pissed about Tessmacher losing, but I like that TNA actually isn’t doing a crooked referee angle here. It looked Hebner called the whole match down the middle.
BULLY RAY PROMO- awesome
20 POINT BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH: Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Robbie E. vs. James Storm- 6.75/10
Three days ago, Aces & Eights threatened to ruin the PPV… and TNA STILL doesn’t have any security at ringside? Fool me once; shame on you, fool me twice; shame on me. After about the seventh time, you might as well tattoo “RUBE” on my forehead. WTF?! Even after they jumped the guardrail once DURING THIS VERY MATCH, TNA doesn’t think to get some ringside security set up?! COME ON! This is a match involving both the guy they are supposedly helping and the guy they are supposedly going after tonight. How the hell did it not occur to TNA to have some damn ringside security?
Aside from that flaw, the way that they did the stuff with Aces & Eights and James Storm was good.
AUSTIN ARIES PROMO- good
TNA X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH: Zema Ion(c) vs. Kenny King- 6.75/10
SAMOA JOE PROMO- good
20 POINT BOUND FOR GLORY LADDER MATCH: Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels- 7.5/10
I LOVED the finish!
BOBBY ROODE PROMO- good
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Austin Aries(c) vs. Bobby Roode- 8.25/10
I thought the Dusty Finish took a lot of steam out of this match’s sails. I also didn’t like Aries winning via roll-up. The build to this match was Aries proving that his title win wasn’t a fluke, and roll-up win, while valid, doesn’t help that much.
Overall, this show was somewhere between good and great. Definitely worth seeing, but not worth buying on when it comes out on DVD.

what if, what if Aces and Eights have been posing as Security around the Impact Zone and thus never appear when they're needed??Big Red Machine wrote:

Good idea. But we both know that TNA isn't smart enough to come up with this.cero2k wrote:what if, what if Aces and Eights have been posing as Security around the Impact Zone and thus never appear when they're needed??Big Red Machine wrote:
