VINCE NAMES BOOKER T THE NEW GM- Vince says “we need someone with experience.” Then he gives the job to someone with no experience at all. Um… okay. I do like this move, though, as it gets Booker T off of commentary. HOORAY!

BOOKER T, SHEAMUS, & DEL RIO SEGMENT- A decent segment that felt like it dragged on for way too long. How did Tensai know to be standing near the entrance?

SHEAMUS vs. TENSAI (w/Sakamoto)- 6.5/10

BOOKER T, TEDDY LONG, & EVE BACKSTAGE- OH COME ON! We still have to deal with Teddy Long on TV?! BOO!

SANTINO MARELLA vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)- 3.5/10
How much do I hate Santino and the Cobra? I started hyperventilating when he hit the Cobra, and muttered “oh thank G-d” when the ref noticed Cesaro’s foot under the ropes.

DRAGON PROMO- this sh*t is getting stupid.

KANE, CHRIS JERICHO & CHRIS JERICHO vs. DANIEL BRYAN, THE MIZ, & DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)- 6/10
Dragon vs. the fan was AWESOME! If that guy was a plant, then whoever came up with the idea is a genius!

RANDY ORTON PROMO- good

RYBACK PROMO- F*CKING AWESOME!

RYBACK vs. JINDER MAHAL- decent segment

DARREN YOUNG (w/Titus O’Neil & AW) vs. R-TRUTH (w/Kofi Kingston)- 2/10
WAY too short.

BOOKER T, CODY RHODES, & LAYLA BACKSTAGE- Layla was pointless and annoying. The stuff with Cody and Booker was very good… and they hyped a match for next week.

RANDY ORTON vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)- 6/10
Not good enough for a main event.

AFTERMATH- bad. Del Rio needs heat. Having Sheamus jump him from behind and toss him in the ring for an RKO doesn’t help anyone. It would have been much better to do the DQ finish and have Del Rio escape, leaving Rodriguez behind to take the RKO. Randy would still look strong in his return and the fans would still get their RKO, but Del Rio would escape with some heat, which he badly needs right now.

Overall, a mediocre episode of Smackdown. Never thought I would say this but the Ryback promo was definitely the highlight of the night.
