BRM Reviews the 3/18/2012 FCW

JAMES BRONSON vs. DANTE DASH- good squash

LEO KRUGER PROMO- okay

SOFIA CORTEZ & PAIGE vs. AUDREY-MARIE & KAITLYN- 4/10
Having Paige lose in her first match is just plain atrocious booking. And then their post-match beatdown to save face fails, too. Do they WANT her to fail?

JAMES BRONSON INTIMIDATES A SUMMER RAE’S SHORT MANSERVANT BACKSTAGE- um... okay. There is obviously some sort of angle going on here.

KASSIUS OHNO vs. XAVIER WOODS- 6.25/10
This probably went a bit longer than it should have.

RAQUEL DIAZ PROMO- eh. A bit too over the top this week. This normally tiptoes along the line pretty well, but this week she was on the wrong side of it. I did like Audrey-Marie snapping, though.

SUMMER RAE & MAXINE BACKSTAGE- eh

FCW 15 TITLE MATCH: Richie Steamboat(c) vs. Antonio Cesaro- 7.25/10
GREAT match with good aftermath, although I don’t think Richie should have gotten back at Cesaro

Overall, a great show from FCW

AWESOME COMMENTARY MOMENT:
William Regal is talking about how he recently learned who Paige was and that it turns out that he knows her parents and knew her when she was born. CPR (trying to change the subject) asks “did you ever expect her to align herself the way she is with this “anti-Diva army.” Regal responds: “Of course I didn’t. She was a little baby. What a stupid question”

It was Hero's debut. He should have looked more dominant than he did.

I don't think that's what they wanted to convey. I watched the match and it looks like they're trying to push him as a legit wrestler who can knock you out at any moment, and having a longer and really good competitive match end the way it did really puts Hero over that way, instead of if it were just a squash.

I see what you're saying, and I think that is probably the better way to do it.
