All of which is completely insane to me. Shooting your own angles should be a punishable offense, as should putting out something before you're supposed to
I agree, but it's been largely said that this whole thing is Bray's brainchild thus far. Throwing this out there now might be important to the development of the character. I like that they're acknowledging it on a WWE produced package as "news", it tells us he's not just shooting his own angles. Given where things are at, it's a little too soon to be showing up on Raw or Smackdown cutting promos, and Firefly Funhouse isn't really the time or place for it, so I'm all for him using Twitter to give us an idea of where/what his character is. You could just watch Funhouse and assume this is same old crazy Bray.

Then they shouldn't be doing a show like this. We tried to attract the crowd that likes this kind of sh*t via Total Divas/Bellas and it completely failed. How does portraying the product like this help?
Quick 30 second recaps of things? Sure, I'd appreciate more of a Sportscenter feel and less of a TMZ feel, but I don't think it's hurting anything. The 'Total' shows weren't for me, nor is that Miz one, but I don't think this style compares. This is more like "gossip" about something I like, not fake/forced reality crap tv that they're about a decade behind on.

If Bray Wyatt has taught us anything, it's that nothing that would need to be nuanced has any potential when Vince McMahon is in charge. Bray, to me, is the ultimate flop of taking a character who had so much potential and utterly destroying him by taking one minor aspect of the character's vibe and deciding to make him ALL about that, and nothing else. If Hulk Hogan was coming up through NXT, Vince would look at the muscles, watch one promo, and say "I've got it! We'll make him a vitamin salesman!"
100% agree.

But, just like the Backwoods Cult Leader on NXT, I'm going to enjoy it until it's ruined like I enjoy a birthday party until my drunk brother-in-law shows up.

Sportskeedia:

Dasha Fuentes’ last on-screen interview came when she asked Roman Reigns if, with no Shield by his side, he has what it takes to face Drew McIntyre one-on-one at WrestleMania 35.

There was a brief slip-up where she mentioned that Reigns accepted McIntyre's "match", as opposed to "challenge", but it did not seem like a big deal.

During her interview with Chris Van Vliet, Fuentes recalled what happened next (quotes via Fightful):

“They called me on a Tuesday and I was told 'After the events that occurred on Monday Night Raw, we are taking you off TV and you're not going to WrestleMania'. I literally went back and I watched the interview and there a tiny little blip that happened but it was live, it was with Roman and I figured it was a pretty good interview and I could see the growth and consistency that was happening from week to week. So I was like 'Series of events?' and I was just taken aback.”

Fuentes thought she might move back to NXT as a ring announcer, but she received a call the day after WrestleMania 35 informing her that she had been fired.

“I was told I'd get a call the next week and told what was going on. Well, the following Monday after WrestleMania I got a call that lasted literally like a minute and a half and they said 'We're letting you go' and I was like 'Well, thanks for five years and that's it.”

That is COMPLETELY INSANE.

Hmmm....

1. Reckless Young
2. Don Montoya
3. Ace Darling
4. Jigsaw
5. Liger
6. Eddie Kingston
7. Ophidian
8. Hero (Quack has done enough guest-trainer spots that I figure he could maybe get WWE to let him wrestle Hero, especially is it happened in a WWE-friendly indy, and doubly so if it was an overseas one)
9. Claudio (a longer shot than Hero but still possible
10. Icarus
11. Gulak (similar to Hero)
12. Johnny Kidd
13. UMB
14. Madison Eagles

15... Ares?
16. Icarus?
17. Delirious?

I figure there has to be some Joshi he really wants to face, plus probably some name from Osaka Pro and a Michinoku Pro OG or two as well.

David Starr already issued a challenge for a rematch. You have Icarus twice too. I can totally see him asking Toyota for a match

Assuming Stevens is in shape, this match should be pretty damn great.

Right, but I just find it hypocritical that people will get violently angry about what happens on Raw or whatever, and then find some weird excuse to keep watching. The level reaction isn't followed by the logical reaction (cancelling your Network sub)

Raw is free. The logical reaction would be to stop watching Raw. it's been established that wrestling fans are creatures of habit and/or hate-watchers and/or addicts and/or (in some cases) naively optimistic. But the Network is the only way people have to show their approval of NXT and 205 Live (and anything else there they may like like the old territorial TV shows or the documentaries they do or whatever).

if we're talking disliking the main roster product alone, yes. if it expands into disliking how the company works with the saudi stuff, their overall practices, then NWK is right.

I actually get together with a small group of people I've known since high school to watch The Big Four every year. And this invite extends to anyone on here if you're ever in the STL area. It's a fun time and I think it's why I'm largely more positive about the product
