And you're not even going to any live shows or spending money on travel. I leave tomorrow at 9:30 am.

So, how does one watch the G1 supercard?
Re: The weekend schedule
NJPWworld or HonorClub if you're willing to pay about 10 bucks. Taima.tv if you're not

Sweet, thanks! I figure this’ll be a better way to spend my time than the HoF ceremony.

Re: The weekend schedule
Just evolve and wXw, but I'm spending the night in JFK because I need to pick my sister up at 6 am. Tried to get MLW tickets, too but couldn't make it work. Didnt realize that GA tickets at La Boom are standing room only do that is going to suck but at least I've got an unobstructed view.cero2k wrote: ↑Apr 4th, '19, 05:29True that. EVOLVE was awesome.
I just saw Cheeseburger hanging out at the wXw show. Let the rumor mill swirl.

Sure, why not then.
I guess you hate the character, the wrestler portrayed by the man...
When they come, they'll come at what you love.

The problem is that he hasn't been booked in a way that allows the character to grow. He's very good at what his role is.KILLdozer wrote: ↑Apr 4th, '19, 13:01That guy that you hate the fuckin' shit out of?Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Apr 4th, '19, 12:56 Update: Burger is here as a paying fan. Also hanging out near me are Felix Schultz and Killer Kelly, but they've since headed backstage.

Just finished it. I knew literally nobody except Bully Ray. I mean, I knew people's names, but that's it lolcero2k wrote: ↑Apr 6th, '19, 17:38yes! NJPW puts on a ton of shows. So you're watching G1 Supercard?Serujuunin wrote: ↑Apr 6th, '19, 14:37

Re: The weekend schedule
I think that's the issue. I need someone to get emotionally invested in to get interested- without that, I had no idea who I was supposed to like or not like, and I didn't know any of the story or anything lol. I have until the end of the month with NJPWworld anyway, and now that I'm all caught up on NXT, I have a wrestling void in my life that I can try to fill with that and see what happens. Maybe I'll go far back enough to find some guys I know and go from there lol.cero2k wrote: ↑Apr 6th, '19, 21:12hopefully you liked it. What did you think of it? I'm just wondering, as an initiated viewer, if it was any good, because I have no idea
Re: The weekend schedule
I'm gonna try to find you some videos of the stories and the players. From the little I know you I'd say you would love Ibushi and maybe the Ingobernables.Serujuunin wrote: ↑Apr 6th, '19, 23:49I think that's the issue. The show was good, but it could be better, red and I can attest that there's been better shows.

Re: The weekend schedule
So I don’t have to feel guilty about feeling slightly underwhelmed lol. I liked Will Ospreay, but I suspected that I would, and the Triple Threat match with Dragon Lee, Bandido and the other guy whose name I am forgetting (I’m so awful) was super fun. I wasn’t honestly a fan of the tag team match... it was just... too sweary for me.cero2k wrote: ↑Apr 7th, '19, 08:29I'm gonna try to find you some videos of the stories and the players.
