First up, I'm surrounded by kids and marks which is putting a damper on my experience

They're currently all chanting for bobby lashly and cena

Grinding my gears

First two matches were kinda boring but not terrible (new day v the bar and charlotte v Becky)

First observation and conclusion I've come to is stadium shows suck if you're in the crowd.

I've been to a few house shows now and much prefer them. The more intimate setting makes for a much more enjoyable show. Plus rig side tickets are cheaper (what we normally get so we may actually be spoiled before and can't hack the first grandstand seats)

Iconics v asuka and Naomi now

If they wanted to keep billy and Peyton heel they should have played up the fact they're from Sydney and that it's a better city

The crowd is very confused. Doing the oi oi oi chant and still booing them

I've heard a few of these wrestlers say Australia so far

They've been saying Awe-stralia

It's pronounced 'Straya! 8-)

Joe v AJ not too shabby

There is kids behind me who don't know who Ronda and the Bellas are facing

They are the same kids who asked their dad who Stone Cold is after seeing someone in his shirt

I felt like Iconic somehow worked better in the hometown face role...sure hometown and all...but they pulled it off and it was a much needed fresh change...here's hoping it sticks lol.

I think that was your surprise.

Overall the gist I'm getting is this show was better watched from home. Which is weird, considering WWE is no stranger to stadium presentations, but there seem to be a lot of people in attendance that wished they'd have saved their money....

I don't think it's a "nobody cares" thing, I think it's more a weekend thing. I don't think many people have gotten around to watching it yet. I know I haven't. I've been following it, but haven't found the time to check it out.

I'm beginning to suspect that the dirty secret about going to WWE shows in huge buildings is that unless you're sitting in the fancy-people seats, it's really much better to just stay at home, because WWE is able to get a lot more up-close with their cameras than sports like baseball, football, hockey, basketball, soccer etc.

I think it's also more this particular weekend:
MLB playoffs starting
NHL season starting
NFL
Connor vs. Khabib
wXw (they've got some interesting behind the scenes stuff gin on that they're very open about, plus it's World Tag Team League)
People constantly refreshing their Demand PROGRESS service to see if the Wembley show is up yet
The Kavanaugh vote

There is just a lot of other stuff going on.
Throw in a point that Lance Storm made that every single Raw champion is involved in some kind of six-person tag that really doesn't help to build anything up and most of the show feels very skppable (Hunter vs. Taker probably would have felt that way too if it wans't as good as it was.
