Joey Janela appears to be out of of action for a long period of time after suffering major damage to his knee during a match this past weekend.
In a video posted this afternoon on Twitter, Janela revealed results from a recent MRI that determined the extent of his injuries. Among a torn PCL and MCL, he also suffered numerous fractures, sprains, and other contusions in the leg including a mild bone contusion, an impaction fracture in one of his bones in the knee, a sprain in the fibular collateral ligament, an ACL sprain and other ligament damage.
He noted in the video that he would likely be going under surgery to repair the knee and would be out for a long period of time.
Janela injured his leg in a match against former WCW star Psicosis in a match during Game Changer Wrestling’s Live Fast, Die Young iPPV on 9/21. Janela went for a crossbody off the top rope to the floor, but his leg landed awkwardly upon landing, causing the extensive damage.
