Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal currently planned for WWE Survivor Series

Dave Meltzer reported in today's daily update that current plans call for Raw's top champion to face SmackDown's top champion in a non-title match at November's dual-branded Survivor Series pay-per-view.
The match would be Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal, with neither the Universal nor WWE Championship on the line. What the card for Survivor Series looks like should be finalized in the coming weeks as both brands will begin building to the show.
Lesnar headlined last year's Survivor Series as well. That's where he lost to Goldberg in just over a minute, with their feud continuing all the way to WrestleMania. The rest of the card last year was built around Raw vs. SmackDown matches.
As noted earlier today, it appears that Mahal may still be champion when WWE tours India in December as he's scheduled to defend his title against Kevin Owens at those two shows.
Survivor Series will take place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on November 19th. The arena will also host NXT TakeOver: War Games the night before that and both Raw and SmackDown in the days after the PPV.

So... Neither title will be defended at this PPV? That's a really good idea...

Which also makes this a total waste of a Brock match.Serujuunin wrote: ↑Oct 15th, '17, 03:57 So... Neither title will be defended at this PPV? That's a really good idea...
And what's the finish going to be? A f*cking DQ? We all know they won't put Jinder over Brock, and Brock just beating Jinder just hurts Jinder, so what are you going to do? A f*cking, DQ? That will go over well.
Plus, doing champion vs. champion out of nowhere shows that they seem to no longer understand how to do Survivor Series without this pointless Raw vs. Smackodown crap that no on could possibly care about because we haven't been given any sort of reason to.

There's not much difference in "hurting Mahal", because he hasn't really been helped much so it's not like he has much going for him.

Yeah, but I still think that just having Brock beat him clean would just emphasize that he's not even close to being championship material. Plus, the fact that he's the SD champ jobbing to the Raw champ buries SD.

Re: Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal currently planned for WWE Survivor Series
That's just the shit they're doing to SD because fuck it, Indian market. Good though, furtherly emphasizing he's not even close to Championship material might just be what's needed for the belt to come off of him finally. You know they'd have to have Bollywood Boyz interference which would just turn into Germans and F5s anyway, so it wouldn't be an entirely clean match lol.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Oct 15th, '17, 12:57Yeah, but I still think that just having Brock beat him clean would just emphasize that he's not even close to being championship material. There's pretty much literally no helping that bunch of bullshit anymore, nor was there ever any, unless he just shuts up and those Bollywood Boyz talked more, because even they're better than him. You just don't put the championship on someone like him just because.
I call them Bollywood Boyz because as far as anyone knows that's who they are through Kayfabe, what am I supposed to think when they just show up as supposed different guys all of a sudden lol

I'm gonna throw down the hot take.
Jinder wins, one Kollas, in the middle of the ring, clean.

I'm calling Jinder loses the title to Nakamura, we get Nak vs Lesnar, Lesnar squashes, then Jinder wins the title back again for the India tour

Re: Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal currently planned for WWE Survivor Series
Or possibly on the India tour. But either way, this would be a new level of stupid for this Jinder thing. Killing Nakamura for JINDER?
TNA and WCW were often just plain stupid on a week-to-week basis, both ROH and TNA have made major miscalculations in their vision for how to grow their promotions, and Inoki-ism almost killed New Japan, but in terms of just pure opportunity cost, I am really, truly struggling to come up with a promotion that has been more self-sabotaging than WWE over the past year or so. Just Between Roman and Jinder they have either hurt guys like Joe, Strowman, and Owens, and time spent on them has taken opportunities away from guys like AJ, Balor, Nakamura, and Rusev (and that's not even going into the disasters that the two women's divisions have been for good chunks of this year).

1. Brock's contract should be up right after Mania and they probably don't want to insult him.
2. If Jinder beats Brock then Roman can't be the big conquering hero.
