McKenzie Mitchell opens the show introducing tonight’s Eli Drake 2nd Annual Gravy Train Turkey Trot match between Team Fallah Bahh and Team Eli Drake, who cuts a promo inviting everyone to stick around. They have a raffle which they’ll use to select their each of the team’s members.

GWN Moment of the Week is last year’s Eli Drake’s Gravy Train Turkey Trot match between Team Eddie Edwards and Team Eli Drake. Team Eddie Edwards wins when Eddie rolls Chris Adonis, who ends up in the Turkey suit. They only showed the end of the match, but the whole segment of getting Chris Adonis to adorn the suit.

Back with McKenzie and Fallah Bahh, the first member of Team Bahh is KM. They did some comedy about food.

Back from commercial, Eli Drake gets his first pick from the raffle, which turns out to be Katarina. Katarina tries to reason with Eli Drake as to why she will be an asset

We got another GWN Moment of the Week, this time recapping 2007’s inaugural Turkey Bowl, Samoa Joe defeating AJ Styles and Chris Sabin with the winner getting $25,000 and AJ Styles has to wear the turkey suit. Stipulations aside, this is a great match.

Back with McKenzie Mitchell, Fallah Bahh grabs his second team member from the raffle, and it’s Kikutaro! This was a pleasant surprise.

Back from commercial, Scarlett Bordeaux comes out with a entourage of the “Sexxy Show” dancers. Scarlett didn’t say anything after her entrance, we just cut to another set of video entries to her talent search. Videos included Shark Boy and the Michael Jackson impersonator wrestler.

Eli Drake spins the raffle and reveals the third member of his team - Jake Crist. All of oVe came out, hinting that Callihan and Dave Crist will be out there to back Team Eli Drake out. Callihan threaten Jake Crist not to lose.

We got some videos from some of the Impact roster talking about what was their favorite Thanksgiving memory.

Fallah Bahh now picks the fourth member for his team, this time it turns out to be Desmond Xavier, who is already working his stoner gimmick.

Back from commercial, Eli Drake picks his 4th member from the raffle. After making fun of Fallah Bahh, he reveals it is Rohit Raju from the Desi Hit Squad, who all come up, and once again, Gama Singh hints that they will all be out there to support Team Eli Drake.

We got another set of videos of favorite Thanksgiving memories with Rich Swann and Trey Miguel.

Fallah Bahh makes his final selection for tonight, which is Alisha Edwards. KM asks Alisha if she’ll be able to handle Katarina, and then Fallah Bahh said a bad joke.

Back from commercial, Eli Drake makes his final pick, Glenn Gilbertti! Yes, Disco Inferno is back and is using this match as his entry to the Scarlett Bordeaux Talent Search.

An Ultimate X match was announced for the Homecoming PPV to crown a new X-Division champion. Glenn Gilbertti came out again with McKenzie Mitchell saying he invented the Ultimate X match.

We got a video package with the history of Opcion C and all the men that have cashed it in and won the title out of it, ending with Brian Cage’s cash in announcement from last week.

Back from commercial, Eli Drake, along with his team, cut a promo saying that tonight, none of them will be wearing the Turkey suit. Everyone in the team got a chance to talk except Jake Crist since Sami Callihan made the talking. At the end, a Scarlett Bordeaux came out dressed as a sexy pilgrim saying that she’ll be out there scouting for talent.

Team Fallah Bahh then cut their promo. Bahh did all the talking, with KM translating for him. He hyped everyone up.

Team Fallah Bahh (Fallah Bahh, KM, Dezmond Xavier, Kikutaro, and Alisha Edwards) vs Team Eli Drake (Eli Drake, Jake Crist, Rohit Raju, Glenn Gilbertti, and Katarina) w/oVe & Desi Hit Squad - 6/10

Before the match started, everyone made the oath that if any of them are the one to get pinned or submited, they will wear the turkey suit.

Katarina and Alisha start the match, with the latter using her speed advantage to get some offense on Katarina and get a few 2 counts. They tag in Jake Crist and Kikutaro who uses his sneaky style to get control and tag in Dezmond Xavier. Jake gets away and tags in Eli Drake, which again plays the power vs speed match up, with Eli Drake getting control this time. Rohit Raju and Fallah Bahh get tagged and Bahh keeps control of the match until Gama Singh gets in the ring, distracting Bahh and allowing Rohit Raju to take out his knee and tag in Glenn Gilbertti. Drake and Gilbertti start to double team Fallah Bahh, but Bahh makes a comeback and finally gets KM tagged in.

Everyone came in and sequentially locked each other in Figure Four Headlocks, with Fallah Bahh rolling them into a Human Centipede Boston Crab at the end, but suddenly, Scarlett Bordeaux came out trotting around the ring, distracting everyone, and then just walked to the ramp and sat to watch.

Back from commercial, everyone is back into the match with Team Eli Drake having cut off Kikutaro and working over him, but after several tags, Kikutaro makes a comeback on Rohit Raju and gets the tag to Dezmond Xavier, who runs wild over everyone. Xavier hits a dive on everyone outside, followed by plancha by Fallah Bahh. Inside the ring, Alisha and Katarina had some near falls. Finally, Glenn Gilbertti came in and all of Team Bahh rolled over Gilbertti, even the ref got a chance to. Bahh goes for the kill, but Glenn counters and goes for the People’s Elbow, only to miss and get pinned by Fallah Bahh after a Banzai Drop.

After the match, Josh reminds Glenn that he took an oath that he would wear the turkey suit. Glenn says he won’t do it. Scarlett Bordeaux comes down to the ring and tells him to put the suit on, and so he does. Scarlett tells him he looks like an idiot before walking out.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
This was a one match show, but everything celebrated reaching that match, and as the Thanksgiving special that it is, it did not at any point feel like part of the canon storylines going into Homecoming nor affecting the seriousness of those stories and the wrestlers involved.

I've always hated this mentality that TNA and WWE have that a holiday show should just be thrown away. yes, live viewership will be down, but everyone DVRs stuff now, anyway so if you don't make it a throwaway show, they'll get around to watching it.

i'm 50/50 on it, like now a days it's really easy to just go back and watch a show, so there is really no reason to just throw it away, but at the same time, i do kinda appreciate having that week off during the xmas/new years season, and if it's going to be comedy regardless, then I rather they not mix it with the actual feuds.
