The Lucha Bros and The Young Bucks are officially set to face off in a ladder match at All Out.

At the end of this week's Being the Elite episode, Matt & Nick Jackson accepted Pentagon Jr. & Fenix's challenge for the ladder match. Pentagon & Fenix's AAA Tag Team titles will be on the line.

The ladder match was set up when The Lucha Bros issued their challenge to The Young Bucks at Fight for the Fallen earlier this month. It's being billed as "escalera de la muerte."

The Lucha Bros and The Young Bucks have traded the AAA Tag Team titles over the last few months. Pentagon & Fenix's current reign began when they defeated The Young Bucks at AAA Verano de Escandalo in June.

The Young Bucks defeated The Lucha Bros at Double or Nothing, then teamed with Kenny Omega to defeat Laredo Kid, Pentagon & Fenix at Fyter Fest. The Young Bucks defeated Cody & Dustin Rhodes at Fight for the Fallen, while The Lucha Bros defeated Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian.

All Out is taking place at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on Saturday, August 31. Chris Jericho will face Hangman Page to determine the first AEW World Champion. Omega vs. Jon Moxley is official, along with The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson) vs. Best Friends (Trent Barreta & Chuck Taylor). Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears has also been set up for the show.

The team that wins the Dark Order vs. Best Friends match will get a first-round bye in AEW's Tag Team title tournament.

i'm appreciating that neither Luchas Bros or Bucks are involved with the tag title tournament, they can join the chase afterwards and let other teams get over right now

Doesn't feel right without them, though. Like the tournament is a sham because the clear top teams aren't in it

yes and no, part of me wasn't super excited of just seeing the top guys (aka the Vice Presidents) be in the title scene, so i'm for the most part glad it's down to Jericho and Page and not Omega and Cody or something like that, so I hope the same with the tag titles. But I do think it help a lot for other teams to defeat the bucks on their way to winning the titles. For all we know they'll be added to the proper tournament once announced.

I kinda feel fighting for an already known and 'prestigious' title makes it seem like a good excuse. AAA title has lineage and if they treat it as a big deal, it's a good reason to give for why either team were not added. They've been good at mentioning these things, so we'll see.

Yes, but that's All Out. The tournament proper doesn't start until after All Out.

First of all, the Omega promo is one of the best promos I've seen in years. Goosebumps for real.

Second, and the reason I'm replying, I feel like JoMo hanging around with The Elite should be a bigger deal... when did that happen!? Is Johnny Whatever in AEW and I somehow missed it?

right!? Omega killed it. Jericho's at the end was short but nice too.

As for JoMo, everyone is speculating, but since this is BTE, it's not 100%. He surely did leave Impact and hasn't returned to WWE yet, so I think it's good speculation.
