BLAIR DAVENPORT vs. NINA SAMUELS- interesting segment
Davenport assaulted Samuels before the match and hit her finisher. Sid Scala came out to scold her, so Davenport took him out, too. We were assured that there would be consequences for this.

AOIFE VALKYRIE INJURED HER KNEE DURING LAST WEEK’S BIG WIN, AND WILL BE OUT FOR “AN UNSPECFIED AMOUNT OF TIME”- Unfortunate. This is quite terrible timing for poor Valkyrie.

JINNY PROMO- great
She says that even though she lost the match, she proved herself to be the better woman because Valkyrie suffered a major injury and she did not.

SYMBIOSIS PROMO- good
Holy crap, they let the non-Eddie Dennis members talk. They’ve got a six-man tag for next week against Saxon Huxley and two partners of his choosing.

DON MOLONEY & ANDY WILDE vs. JACK STARZ & DAVE MASTIFF- 1/10
This was an almost-squash for Mastiff and Starz.

GALLUS INTERRUPT PRETTY DEADLY’S PHOTO-SHOOT, SAY THAT THEY WANT THE TAG TITLES, AND THEN SHOVE ONE OF THEM INTO THE FOUNTAIN THEY ARE DOING THE PHOTOSHOOT IN FRONT OF- If the idea of this segment was to turn Pretty Deadly babyface, it succeeded. If Gallus were supposed to be babyfaces here, this was a total failure.

AMALE vs. EMILIA MCKENZIE- 6/10
Millie won clean with the roll-up.

WE WERE SHOWN SID SCALA BEING GIVEN CONCUSSION TESTING BY THE MEDICAL STAFF- good

OLIVER CARTER & ASHTON SMITH WALK IN ON SAXON HUXLEY SMASHING UP THE DRESSING ROOM- Carter says they’d love to be his tag partners next week. He responds by saying “you can count on Saxon.” Smith was not happy about this. I don’t blame him.

SAM GRADWELL VS. WOLFGANG VIDEO PACKAGE- F*CKING AWESOME!
This is next week’s Heritage Cup #1 contnedership tournament match.

HERITAGE CUP #1 CONTENDERSHIP TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINAL MATCH: Nathan Frazer vs. Teoman (w/Rohan Raja)- 7/10
They told a very good story about the momentum of the match shifting towards Teoman and Frazer having to take it back. A Rohan Raja distraction caused Frazer to miss a Pheonix Splash, after which Teoman hit one of the sickest-looking moves I’ve ever seen, which was essentially a CrossRhodes, but instead of spinning to the side, he just flipped himself and his opponent forward, turning it into a DDT.

This was a good episode of NXT UK. The wrestling was mostly decent, there were some strong promos, and the beginning of a story that has me intrigued with whatever exactly they wind up doing with Blair Davenport.
Hold #712: ARM BAR!
