KENNY WILLIAMS & AMIR JORDAN vs. THE HUNT (w/Eddie Dennis)- 6/10
This served its purpose well, letting The Hunt dominate while giving Williams & Jordan enough to be good underdog babyfaces.

TRENT SEVEN VS. DAVE MASTIFF VIDEO PACKAGE- very good

RAMPAGE BROWN vs. JACK STARZ- squash

ASHTON SMITH & OLIVER CARTER BOTHER PRETTY DEADLY AT THE UK PC- bad
Our supposed babyfaces commandeered a cameraman who was about to shoot what I assume was an important promo with the assistant general manager, then went over and bothered two other people about something that was none of their business (the relationship between Pretty Deadly and Eddie Dennis). Pretty Deadly told them to butt out, at which point Carter got very aggressive and got in their faces. Sid Scala rushed over to break things up.

KAY LEE RAY VS. PIPER NIVEN VIDEO PACKAGE- fine

RAMPAGE BROWN INTERVIEW- good
He’s just getting started. Everyone else will need to keep up.

XIA BROOKSIDE vs. NINA SAMUELS- 4/10
Xia played the small underdog babyface and also worked the knee. She won with a small package, but got attacked by Nina after the match.

SAM GRADWELL INTERVIEW- Tremendous!
He complains that instead of a “proper wrestling match” he was put in “some kind of gang war” and insists that he “can’t be held accountable for every three seconds that happen to go by in some sort of melee.” What an amazing bullsh*t heel excuse!
He says that if, hypothetically, he did happen to have gotten pinned in last week’s six-man tag, he would surely beat Joe Coffey in a singles match if they were ever to have one.
Alexander Wolfe showed up and called him “a disgrace to the sport” and said “get your act together.” After Wolfe left, Gradwell turned in his direction and shouted “Okay, thanks, bye!” He might be my new favorite character.

NXT UK HERITAGE CUP SEMIFINAL MATCH: Dave Mastiff vs. Trent Seven- 7/10
They old a good story with the size differential and did a great job of making it feel like Seven was up against a ticking clock, even though he was the one who was up by a fall for most of the match.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- obligatory
Seven and A-Kid had a stare-down by the trophy.

A fine episode of NXT UK. This Heritage Cup Tournament has certainly overcome my doubts about it going in.
