DREW GULAK PROMO- GREAT!

TONY NESE PROMO- very good babyface promo

ONEY LORCAN PROMO- good
Lorcan has an interesting, almost heelish but too ice cold to be malicious vibe going.

CEDRIC ALEXANDER PROMO- good
That being said, whoever decided to light his promo in 205 Live Purple made a mistake, as that was kind of over the top.

BUDDY MURPHY SELFIE PROMO FROM MELBOURNE- great

WRESTLEMANIA #1 CONTENDERSHIP TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL MATCH: Oney Lorcan vs. Cedric Alexander- 8/10
Awesome match! Lorcan kept countering the Lumbar Check and working over Cedric’s midsection to make it harder for him to go for, then trying to knock him out via strikes to the head but Cedric persevered and managed to hit the Lumbar Check that one time that he needed to in order to get the win.

MIKE & MARIA MEET WITH DRAKE MAVERICK BACKSTAGE- good
Mike Kanellis cut a great promo on Maverick for taking “pity” on him last week. Being a heel, he was a little rude in doing so. Drake told him he would give him the opportunitiy he wants next week against “one of the best Cruiserweights in the world” but warned him that he had better not lose because there is “no room for losers” on 205 Live.

ARIYA DAIVARI PROMO- way too worked shoot-y

WRESTLEMANIA #1 CONTENDERSHIP TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL MATCH: Tony Nese vs. Drew Gulak- 7.75/10
Nese rolls Gulak up out of the Gu-Lock and gets the win in a GREAT match. I find this finish particularly interesting as Nese also missed some of his biggest high-risk moves, so Gu-Lock can still salvage something from this by pointing it out to Humberto Carrillo as another example of mat work being more effective than aerial maneuvers.

Yet another awesome episode of 205 Live. I believe in Tony Nese.
