OPENING SEGMENT- fine
Toni Storm came out and cut a great babyface promo on Rhea Ripley. Rhea then came out and cut a promo on Toni that continued the previously-established theme of Rhea’s character where she needs to be seen as the top dog and as something special in order to feel validated. Then Toni, the babyface, attacked Rhea out of nowhere. I didn’t like that part very much.

NOAM DAR vs. JORDAN DEVLIN- 6.75/10
Noam Dar certainly does not look like someone who went through a violent no DQs match on 205 Live less than 24 hours ago.
Dar’s leg got worked over. He won after Devlin was distracted by Travis Banks, who had come out to prevent Devlin’s attempts at cheating.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- fine
Devlin attacked Dar after the match. Banks made the save and they brawled. This feud feels so much colder since they put off the TakeOver match in order to have Devlin job to Finn Balor for a “surprise for the sake of a surprise” appearance.

Storm vs. Ripley for the title is next week. The week after that is WALTER VS. OHNO!

JINNY vs. MIA YIM- 6/10
A solid match that Jinny won with her feet on the ropes.

WOLFGANG vs. PETE DUNNE- 7/10
The match was great, but I am more than ready for this British Strong Style vs. Gallus feud to end.


A good episode of NXT UK in the ring, but the Creative side of things feels very slow and repetitive.

Gallus vs BSS could have been very hot if they’d continued building it! But they kept pouring cold water on it by having them face other people without building the feud in any other ways.
