EL LIGERO vs. JOSEPH CONNERS- 6/10
This was a good big angry guy vs. small high-flyer opener. El Ligero picked up what felt like a shocking win, but actually makes a lot of sense when you think about it because this victory invalidates Conners’ claims that El Ligero doesn’t quite deserve to be here, while a loss here allows Conners to remain angry, which should be his default state.

RADZIE INTERVIEWS JAMES DRAKE & ZACK GIBSON- great
They are very confident that they will defeat Moustache Mountain this weekend and become the first-ever NXT UK Tag Team Champions.

DAVE MASTIFF PROMO/VIDEO PACKAGE- GREAT build for his no DQs match against Eddie Dennis at TakeOver: Blackpool.

TRAVIS BANKS vs. TYSON T-BONE (w/Saxton Huxley)- 4/10
Jordan Devlin came out and imitated Banks’ entrance in an attempt to distract him but Banks won anyway. Devlin tried to attack after the match but Banks sent him running as well.

TONI STORM VS. RHEA RIPLEY VIDEO PACKAGE- AWESOME!

GALLUS vs. BRITISH STRONG STYLE- 8.5/10
This went over twenty-five minutes, which is a lot longer than we normally get on TV. Giving us a match this long definitely made this feel like something special, and made the TakeOver show feel big as well. The actions was exactly what you’d expect from these two factions, and when you consider how anticipated this clash was and the fact that they have been building it up since almost day one, this had some high expectations to live up to, and it definitely managed to do so.

A great episode of NXT UK, and a pretty good go-home show for TakeOver: Blackpool as well.
