TRAVIS BANKS vs. JAMIE AHMED- squash
After the match, Jordan Devlin came out and cut a promo on Banks.

KENNY WILLIAMS & AMIR JORDAN vs. FABIAN AICHNER & MARCEL BARTHEL- 5/10
I popped when I heard Nigel (at Vic Joseph’s prompting) give his blessing to Vic referring to Aichner & Barthel as the “European Union,” which was the unofficial name for the on-again, off-again team of Nigel McGuinness & Claudio Castagnoli in ROH in 2008.
The match itself was a very good showcase win for Barthel & Aichner while continuing to establish Williams & Jordan as an underdog team.

RADZIE COMES ACROSS TONI STORM CHALLENGING DOENNA PURRAZZO TO A MATCH- Deonna came off as a little odd. And like someone who is about to turn heel.

JOE COFFEY BARGES IN ON A JOHNNY SAINT & SID SCALA INTERVIEW- He demands a shot at the WWE UK Title at TakeOver: Blackpool. Scala says they’ll take it under advisement. Johnny Saint sternly tells Coffey to leave.

CANDYFLOSS vs. JINNY- 2/10
Significant portions of this did not look very good.

NXT TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL MATCH: Moustache Mountain vs. Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang)- 8/10
An awesome “babyface in peril” tag team match. Joe Coffey came out to try to interfere but Pete Dunne quickly came out and put a stop to that.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- fine
The heels attacked the babyfaces after the match but the babyfaces cleared the ring. Dunne said he had talked with Johnny Saint before coming out here and said that he was happy to defend the WWE UK Title against him at TakeOver: Blackpool. Then the heels got into the ring and everyone started brawling again as we went off the air. That last part felt gratuitous.

A decent episode of NXT UK. If you take out the main event it was actually pretty bad, but even in that badness they at least established a new team, set up a PPV main event, and set up two matches for down the road (Banks vs. Devlin, Deonna vs. Toni).
