JOE COFFEY vs. TYLER BATE- 6.75/10
Mark Coffey & Wolfgang came out with Joe Coffey, but he sent them to the back. Coffey was expecting to face Sid Scala, but that whole “if medically cleared” thing actually turned out to matter, as Scala came out here and told us that he was not medically cleared to compete tonight. He announced that Coffey would be facing Tyler Bate instead. Nigel McGuinness protested that it wasn’t fair to Coffey to tell him his opponent had not been cleared to compete, and he’s totally right.
They shined Bate up until Mark Coffey and Wolfgang came back out to distract him, allowing Joe Coffey to cut him off and start the heat. We got some good heat for a while until Bate started to make a comeback, but the heels repeated the distraction trick to get control back. Trent Seven came out at this point to give Bate some moral support, and he started to make another comeback, but the heels ran in for the DQ and a brawl ensued. Pete Dunne came out to even the odds for the babyfaces, and the heels were sent packing. This is a good way to keep Dunne on-screen in a prominent role while his next challenger is being built up.

EL LIGERO vs. DAN MALONEY- 2/10
They had a short match in which Ligero oversold like a goof before winning.

AMIR JORDAN & KENNY WILLIAMS vs. JAMES DRAKE & ZACK GIBSON- 4.5/10

NXT UK WOMEN’S TITLE TOURNAMENT FINALS: Toni Storm vs. Rhea Ripley- 7.25/10
They did an excellent job considering that they got LESS THAN TEN MINUTES FOR THE TOURNAMENT FINAL TO CROWN THE FIRST-EVER NXT UK WOMEN’S CHAMPION.

A meh episode of NXT UK. This would have been served so much better by cutting the damn El Ligero match and giving that time (plus the time for its entrances) to the main event.
