XIA BROOKSIDE & MILLIE MCKENZIE vs. KILLER KELLY & CHARLIE MORGAN- 4.5/10
Nigel says he would give Killer Kelly the experience edge out of the four women in this match. Kelly is actually the least experienced, having wrestled for just over two years (and less than that when this was taped). Millie McKenzie debuted two weeks before her. Meanwhile, Xia has been wrestling for over three years, and Morgan for over seven.
The match was good for the time it got, but the finish (Millie responded to Kelly interfering to stop Xia from hitting a top-rope move by running in and spearing the legal woman Charlie Morgan and then Xia just running over and pinning Morgan with a jackknife pin) was a little odd, because it felt more like a “singles match with run-ins” finish than it did a tag team finish. Millie did the work, but Xia gets the credit in the record books.

ASHTON SMITH vs. EDDIE DENNIS- 5/10
A good match between two men who make interesting foils for each other for reasons I can’t quite put into words. One of the announcers said that Smith claims to be “a brawler who fights through aggression” or something like that, but he comes off as a lot more of a high-flyer to me. If there is anyone who is “a brawler who fights through aggression” on this show, it’s Dennis.

SAXTON HUXLEY vs. JOSEPH CONNERS- 3/10
A short match that started out seeming like it would be an even fight but by the end it was clear that this was all done to get Conners over.

TONI STORM VIDEO PACKAGE- awesome

RHEA RIPLEY VIDEO PACKAGE- great

WWE UK CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Pete Dunne(c) vs. Jordan Devlin- 8.5/10
Another excellent UK Title defense from Dunne. This one was full of creative spots and had a hot crowd who were into the major drama of the situation.

A great show from NXT UK, and without a doubt the most consistently enjoyable show they’ve done so far.
