BRM Reviews the Second 11/21/2018 NXT UK

NXT UK WOMEN’S TITLE TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL MATCH: Dakota Kai vs. Rhea Ripley- 6.25/10
Dakota was a fine underdog, and Ripley was a very good big mean heel. Ripley won.

SID SCALA INTERVIEW- fine
GM Johnny Saint has agreed to give him the opportunity he has asked for if he is medically cleared two weeks from now. That match will be against Joe Coffey. The interviewer asks him if he is sure he will be ready for someone like Coffey, and he says he will be.

RADZIE INTERVIEWS JORDAN DEVLIN- He’s currently undefeated, so he wants a shot against WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne. He says that what makes him different than the others Dunne has defeated so far is that he has a killer instinct that they don’t. He also says that once he wins the title, he’ll get the show renamed “NXT Ireland (featuring the UK).”

“FLASH” MORGAN WEBSTER & MARK ANDREWS vs. SAXTON HUXLEY & JOSEPH CONNERS- 6.5/10
Whoever put those airplanes in Mark Andrews’ entrance video should have been fired for even suggesting it. They are SOOOO lame. And so dumb, too. He’s a high-flyer, so they gave him f*cking AIRPLANES. How lazy and uncreative can you be?
Anyway, we had the classic babyface in peril scenario, hot tag, comeback… you know the deal. The finish was set up by a spot where Huxley could have tagged Conners in (and Conners did have his hand out asking for it) but didn’t. Huxley then got hit with the babyfaces’ finishers and pinned, and Conners attacked him after the match. With so many tag teams forming in recent weeks due to the need for teams for the obviously-upcoming but not yet announced tag title tournament, I thought doing something like this with one of the supposed teams was a really cool and ingenious idea.

TYSON T-BONE vs. DAVE MASTIFF- 4/10
A decent hoss fight while it lasted.

NXT UK WOMEN’S TITLE TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL MATCH: Toni Storm vs. Jinny- 7.25/10
A great match, but I was expecting a little more from these two. The announcers needs to get more familiar with Jinny’s move-set.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- The predictable but still effective face-off between the two women who will compete for the title in the tournament finals.

A good episode of NXT UK. The tournament final will be in two weeks.

I've just seen that they're doing a Takeover in Blackpool at some point.
When they come, they'll come at what you love.
