BRM Reviews the 11/7/2018 NXT UK

TONI STORM vs. DAKOTA KAI- 6/10
Toni wins clean. Dakota actually looked like a professional wrestler this time rather than someone playing professional wrestler.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- good
Both women show each other respect after the match. Dakota headed to the back but was jumped by Jinny on the sage. Toni came over to check on Dakota.

ZACK GIBSON vs. AMIR JORDAN- 4.5/10
Gibson worked the arm and won clean. He pretty much dominated the match. I have almost been feeling like Gibson is a babyface recently, but he left the told in after Jordan already tapped here to remind me he’s not.

ZACK GIBSON & TRENT SEVEN SEGMENT- boring as f*ck
Gibson cut a promo saying he wanted a title shot. He droned on for entirely too long until Trent Seven came out and took entirely too long to challenge Gibson to a match, right here, right now. Gibson declined because he had already wrestled tonight, and apparently we were supposed to think this made him some manner of coward.

KENNY WILLIAMS SELFIE PROMO- meh

KENNY WILLIAMS vs. JORDAN DEVLIN- 5/10

They’re advertising a “HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE FUTURE OF NXT UK” from general manager Johnny Saint on next week’s show.

ASHTON SMITH, MARK ANDREWS, & “FLASH” MORGAN WEBSTER vs. WOLFGANG & THE COFFEY BROTHERS- 7.75/10
A good, strong win for our big, mean heels in this six-man tag main event. This was exactly the sort of babyface-in-peril, big-versus-small action you’d expect.

This was an okay episode of NXT UK. Really, it was a bad show saved by a great main event, but even this main event wasn’t as good as what we usually get from NXT UK.
