DREW GULAK VIDEO PACKAGE- good

DRAKE MAVERICK AND A NAMELESS BACKSTAGE CORRESPONDENT GIVE US AN UPDATE ON MUSTAFA ALI- Drake Maverick says that Ali is recovering well, but based on last week’s events, Ali will not be competing on 205 Live again until Drake Maverick is satisfied that he’s healthy.
Wait… that was KAYLA BRAXTON? Holy sh*t does she look different on 205 Live than on NXT.

HIDEO ITAMI PROMO- meh

HIDEO ITAMI vs. TRENT NEWMAN- squash
Interestingly, they had Itami be given the win by ref stoppage, so they’re trying to get that over as a potential finish. Itami attacked him after the match just to be a heel.

CEDRIC ALEXANDER VIDEO PACKAGE- fine

DRAKE MAVERICK, BUDDY MURPHY, & TONY NESE BACKSTAGE- Maverick tells them they’ll be facing Lucha House Party in a Lucha Rules match next week.

CEDRIC ALEXANDER vs. JACK GALLAGHER- 8/10
Gallagher worked over Cedric’s neck to soften it up for Gulak on Sunday. Cedric was a great babyface, and these two had a very exciting match based around that.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- PERFECT final build to SummerSlam.
Brian Kendrick jumped Cedric from behind on the ramp. Cedric managed to fight off by Kendrick and Gallagher but Gulak came out put Cedric in the Gu-Lock and stood over him, victorious.
