BRM Reviews the 2/27/2018 205 Live (Awesome. Again.)

ARIYA DAIVARI PHONE PROMO- he wants to win the title at WrestleMania.
CEDRIC ALEXADNER PHONE PROMO- meh.
DASHA FUENTES INTERVIEWS TJP- good.
WWE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINAL MATCH: Cedric Alexander vs. TJP- 8.25/10
LOL that turnbuckle cover is on upside down. Or maybe it’s supposed to be that way and this is our first hint that Miz is taking over the show. Either way, this match was awesome, with lots of great false finishes. Cedric’s selling could have been better, but it wasn’t egregiously bad or anything.
MUSTAFA ALI PROMO- Great! And even better, it wasn’t on a phone!
BUDDY MURPHY INTERIVEW- someone off-camera was asking him questions as he arrived at the building, NXT-style. He was okay.
WWE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINAL MATCH: Roderick Strong vs. Kalisto- 8/10
This was everything you’d expect it to be, with Kalisto dong his Lucha and Roddy finding ways to counter said Lucha moves into backbreakers. This was an awesome match, especially for the relatively short amount of time it got (under twelve minutes).
Yet another awesome episode of 205 Live. What happens after the tournament ends? No one 9other than maybe Hunter) knows. But for now I’m quite content to sit back and watch the awesomeness.
