BRM Reviews the 11/15/2017 NXT

THE STREET PROFITS vs. RIDDICK MOSS & TINO SABBATELLI- 2.5/10
Fine for the time it got. Good win for the Street Profits.

LARS SULLIVAN vs. RAUL MENDOZA- fun semi-squash.
I like Mendoza, so I like that they let him show off his speed with a move or two before getting destroyed. Mauro said that “Facing Lars Sullivan in an NXT ring is like spending time in a gas station bathroom: you don’t want to do it.” I laughed my ass off at this.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- meh.
Sullivan went to attack Mendoza after the match but Kassius Ohno came out to stare Sullivan down so that he would leave Mendoza alone. This was pretty meh as far as stare-downs go, and Sullivan going after Mendoza after the match felt like it was only done so that Ohno could come out to make the save rather than feeling in any way organic.

REGAL & GARGANO IN REGAL’S OFFICE- Pete Dunne has put out an open challenge for the UK Title and Regal thinks Gargano should get the title shot so he books a title match for next week.

WAR GAMES VIDEO PACKAGE- awesome!

EMBER MOON vs. MERCEDES MARTINEZ- 6.5/10
Moon gets the win over the woman who publicly doubted her ability to “win the big one” to give her momentum heading into said “big one” this weekend at Takeover: War Games. After the match, the other three women in the title match came out for the exclusive purpose of them all being in the same place at the same time on TV.

DREW-ALMAS CONFRONTATION- good
Good promo by Drew, good interference by Zelena, good heat-getting go-home segment to set up for the title match, making the challenger look strong and injuring the champion’s knee to set up a story for their match.

A very good go-home show from NXT, even if some of the confrontations felt way too staged.

OHNO'S attire style has to end.
When they come, they'll come at what you love.
