TJPW Pool Pro Wrestling
February 28, 2022
Sumida Sports Health Center Pool, Tokyo, Japan

In the long lasting tradition of pool matches with DDT, TJPW now takes over the pool park.

Raku & Marika Kobashi vs Yuki Arai & Hikari Noa vs Hyper Misao & Nodoka Tenma vs Daydream (Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi) vs Magical Sugar Rabbits (Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki) - Awesomely fun!
This is a 5-way tornado tag team match, where falls count anywhere and everything is legal. However, in addition, there will be interruptions during the match for special competitions that don't really have much repercussions to the match itself.

Before the match started, a lifeguard instructed the wrestlers to an obligatory pre-match stretch. Safety first.

Overall, the match itself was just fun, a lot of pair ups both inside and outside the pool, sometimes even in the locker room area, others on top of the big pool slide. The action wasn't all that amazing, but it was fun and it did escalate as it went on. Some of the bigger spots were everyone doing pool slide dropkicks into Tenma, even Misao who threatened shooting Namba with a gun; Mizuki doing a footstomp from the little overpass bridge into the pool, and obviously, the finish, that saw Sakazaki get the win over Tenma with a balcony plancha.

First competition was Kibasen, also known as Chicken fight or Shoulder Wars. Sakazaki and Mizuki won when they eliminated the team of Misao and Tenma. Second competition was a Beach Volleyball game, that the team of Tatsumi, Watanabe, Noa, Arai, and filler participants Endo and Miyamoto.

25m pool race was interesting, Sakazaki is a legit pro swimmer, so she easily won, but Tatsumi was right there behind there, I think Tatsumi may had a better chance if she started outside the pool like Sakazaki did.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
This is the most fun wrestling has ever been.
