Pro-Wrestling: EVE have announced that Canadian wrestler Leah Von Dutch will be making her EVE debut on April 27th at their Special Edition III show in Sudbury, Suffolk.

She will also appear at their Queen of the Ring event on May 25 in Nottingham.

Despite only having made her professional wrestling debut in September 2011, Von Dutch – whom earned her way into wrestling school via WWE Hall of Famer Edge’s “Edgucational” Essay Contest – has made a splash on the independent scene: touring Japan, debuting for Chikara and SHINE Wrestling and becoming a staple in NCW Femmes Fatales in quick succession.

She’s also received the Diva Dirt “stamp of approval”, having appeared on our 2012 Five to Watch list.

Read the full press release below:
Leah Von Dutch will be debuting at EVE Special Edition III on Saturday April 27 in Sudbury joining for WWE stars Tommy Dreamer and “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase before joining former EVE Champion and Joshi legend Emi Sakura in the 2013 Queen Of The Ring Tournament on May 25 in Nottingham.

The young Canadian who has been garnering a lot of attention on herself as part of American promotion Shine in addition to appearing for promotions such as Chikara, has incredible training pedigree as is a product of former TNA Knockouts Champion Taylor Wilde and former WWE Champion & Hall Of Famer Edge.

The winner of the 2013 Queen Of The Ring Tournament gets the opportunity to main event Wrestle Fever 2 later this year and no doubt Von Dutch will be looking to head into May 25 on a roll and make a successful EVE debut on April 27 in Sudbury, Suffolk.

Tickets for both events in addition to this coming Saturdays War Games event are available NOW at www.EVEwrestling.com/EVENTS

I really was not impressed with Leah Von Dutch when I saw her in CHIKARA (review missing because of a crashed computer, but hopefully I'll be able to finish it at some point). I believe my comment was something along the lines of her cuteness being inversely proportional to her wrestling talent.
