TIL that when Flair left WCW with the big gold belt in '91, WCW didn't have enough time to get another belt made for Luger. Dusty let them use one of his old Florida belts with some WCW plates thrown on it until they got it figured out. Their new design (Simmons, Sting) was similar to the belt Dusty let them borrow, but the Belt Luger won was purposely kept off camera as much a possible.

If you ever just want to appreciate typically maligned PPVs, just pop on GAB 1991. It puts everything in prespective

Yeah. Booking in the main event alone feels like a TNA moment where they do a big heel turn that no one wants to see just for the sake of doing a big heel turn.
