2 points for each 1st place vote
1 point for each runner up vote:

You it on points!? That's not how it should be done. So even if someone gets the most votes they can be ousted by points?

It's TNA all over again.

Or like the X-Factor voting system..

Could somebody explain how we got these results? It doesn't make sense.

As I said: For each 1st place vote someone received, they got 2 points, and for each runner up vote, they got 1 point. Not all votes are equal because we felt that a "winning" vote is a greater accomplishment than a runner-up vote.

Yes, but a person/angle could be voted for by more people (thus being the People's choice) and still lose out on points? I don't see how that is the correct system to use. BUT alas. I worry not.

Taking the few examples of this I see here:

While Wade Barrett received more votes than anyone else for aHeel of the Year, all of these were Runner Up votes. A lot of people thought Barrett was the runner up, but no one thought that he deserved to win the award.

I just think this has been done all wrongly, doing it on a points system just isn't right to me. But that's just my opinion.
