PRE-SHOW MATCH: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. The Prime Time Players vs. International Airstrike 2.0 vs. The Colons (w/Rosa Mendes)
The tag titles aren't being defended on this show, but that doesn't mean the tag team division will sit idle.

WWE Judgment Day 2015: (6/14/2015)- Columbus, OH
PRE-SHOW:
We get promos from Wade Barrett and John Cena each vowing to end their losing streak tonight.
We get promos from all of the guys in the World Heavyweight Title match.
Randy Orton is scheduled for an interview, but when Renee asks him how he is feeling coming off of his suspension, Randy angrily says “no comment” and walks off.

KEVIN OWENS & SAMI ZAYN vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Tags are not necessary in this match, so we get about fourteen minutes of great, fast-paced action before Zayn nails Gabriel with a Helluva Kick which Owens follows up with a powerbomb, but when Zayn goes for the pin, Rosa distracts the referee. Zayn gets the visual pin, but the Colons then run in and Primo kicks Owens in the nuts while Epico pulls Zayn out of the ring. Rosa stops distracting the referee, and the Colons steal the victory from Zayn and Owens.

We get promos by Cesaro and Heyman hyping up the WWE Title match.

MAIN SHOW:
JOHN CENA vs. WADE BARRETT-
Cena wins clean in sixteen minutes, pinning Barrett after an AA.

THE WYATT FAMILY vs. RANDY ORTON & TEAM ANGER-
Team Anger wins a wild brawl cleanly in fifteen minutes when Swagger makes Ryback tap to the Patriot Act.

MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY vs. ALEXANDER RUSEV (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)-
Rusev dominates and wins clean with the Accolade in six minutes

NATALYA NEIDHART (w/The Miz) vs. BRIE BELLA (w/Wesley Blake)-
Nattie wins cleanly in eight minutes when Brie taps to the Sharpshooter. After the match, Blake attacks Miz from behind and then grabs Nattie. Brie climbs to the top rope to set up for a Spike Piledriver on Nattie, but Miz manages to recover and pull Nattie out of Blake’s grasp before Brie can come down and hit the move. Brie and Blake then run away.

DEAN AMBROSE vs. SIN CARA-
Ambrose wins clean in fifteen minutes.

WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Ashley Flair(c) vs. Tamina Snuka (w/Summer Rae)-
They go for about ten minutes with Tamina getting the best of Ashley. At this point Alicia Fox comes out to try to get revenge on Summer Rae for spraying mace in her eyes on Smackdown. Summer flees by running through the ring, which distracts both Tamina and the ref. Ashley grabs Tamina from behind and tosses her out of the ring while Fox runs into the ring to chase Summer. Ashley sees this and takes a phantom bump, and when the ref turns around, he sees Ashley bumping and claiming that Fox hit her, and we get the Eddie Guerrero DQ. Ashley is quite pleased with herself, while Tamina becomes furious at both Fox and Summer, hitting Fox with a superkick.

WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Roman Reigns(c) vs. Jimmy Uso (w/Jey Uso)-
Roman wins clean with a Spear in fifteen minutes.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Cody Rhodes(c) vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Mark Henry (w/Big E. Langston) vs. Kofi Kingston (w/Big Show)-
Cody wins clean in twenty minutes, pinning Kofi after a Cross Rhodes. After the match, Randy Orton comes out and starts RKOing people left and right (Heyman manages to escape, though). Orton grabs a mic and demands that Steph give him the World Heavyweight Title shot he deserves and also that Steph give him a match with Daniel Bryan so Orton can punish Bryan for screwing him out of the title. Security comes to get Orton, but they get RKOed, too. Orton reiterates his demands and even looks like he is lining one of the security guys up for a punt, but Steph comes out. She angrily tells Orton that he should be careful what he wishes for because she will give him his title shot, and she will give him Daniel Bryan… but she’ll give them both to him at the same time. The announcers wonder if Randy has bitten off more than he can chew, but Orton seems perfectly happy with this arrangement.

WWE TITLE MATCH: Antonio Cesaro(c) vs. Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman)-
Cesaro once again defeats Brock cleanly, picking up the win with the Gotch-Style Neutralizer in about thirty minutes. Brock seems almost dejected after this loss.

ROAD TO MONEY IN THE BANK 2015

WWE TITLE PICTURE:
Kane is fueled by his anger and picks up some wins. He winds up being awarded a title shot against Cesaro at Money in the Bank

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE PICTURE:
Cody makes his obligatory title defense against someone who somehow earns it. Cody wins clean to retain. Meanwhile, Orton and Dragon yell at each other and try to fight, but Steph is insistent that they are kept apart until the PPV, which is where there will be a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Title.

THE IC AND TAG TEAM TITLE PICTURES:

On Raw the night after the PPV, Dolph Ziggler defeats Jimmy Uso cleanly. JBL points out that Dolph has now pinned both Usos. Cole points out that Roman Reigns just pinned Jimmy Uso last night at the PPV. Maybe they should get a title shot? During Roman’s match later, Paul Heyman comes out to the base of the ramp to watch (Roman wins clean).
The announcers discuss the possibility of a Ziggler/Reigns challenging team the next night on Main Event during Jey Uso’s match. Jey wins clean, but gets injured in the process, which is unfortunate because he and his brother are scheduled to face Harper & Rowan of the Wyatt Family on Smackdown. On Smackdown, Roman Reigns volunteers to team with Jimmy Uso because Jimmy and Jey had his back last week against the Wyatts even though he and Jimmy were going to be opponents on the PPV later that week. Roman and Jimmy lose when Rowan pins Jimmy. Paul Heyman comes out to watch the match.
On the next Raw, Steph announces that Dolph and Roman will get a tag title shot soon. Bray comes out and argues that his guys should get one too because they pined Jimmy Uso in a tag match. Steph announces that we will see the Wyatts vs. Roman & Ziggler in a #1 contendership match on Superstars, but to be fair to Roman and Dolph, who have never teamed together, they will be given tune-up matches on both Main Event and Smackdown, which they win, even though they are a bit dysfunctional. They also go on to win the #1 contendership match on Superstars and manage to work together (even though the promos were about how the Wyatts are unified while Roman and Dolph are not).
They get their tag title shot on Raw, which they lose when the Usos pin Dolph clean. Despite the fact that this pairing appears to be over, Heyman still comes out to watch Roman’s match on Smackdown. He also comes out to watch Roman’s match on the next week’s Raw, where it is announced that Roman will be defending the IC Title on Smackdown against Ryback (who has been picking up wins lately). After Roman’s match is over, Paul Heyman shocks the world by offering to make Roman Reigns the next “Paul Heyman Guy.” Roman doesn’t answer, and Paul tells him to think about it.
Before Roman’s match on Smackdown, Heyman gives him some piece of advice that leads Roman to victory (something like “make sure you take the rest of the Wyatts out before you go for the pin,” which Reigns does via big dive before hitting the Ryback with a Superman Punch and a Spear).
On the next week’s Raw, it is announced that Roman and Dolph will both be in MITB matches, but they will be in different ones. Heyman tells Roman that if he wants help in his MITB match, all he needs to do is signal to the back and he and Dolph will be out there to help him.

Meanwhile, The Colons have been picking up some wins and wind up getting the tag title shot at MITB. While they have been racking up wins, Zayn and Owens have been targeting them verbally for stealing their big first win on the Judgment Day pre-show, and although Zayn and Owens each pick up small singles wins, they do not manage to pick up a single win as a team aside from one win against some jobbers (which JBL immediately poops on because of the level of competition).

MIZ, NATTIE, BLAKE, BRIE, THE US & WOMEN’S TITLE PICTURES:

On Raw the night after Judgment Day, Renee interviews Miz & Nattie. Miz brags about being Nattie’s “knight in shining armor.” Dean Ambrose shows up and says he wants his rematch for the US Title, and offers to have it tonight. Miz looks worried and instead counters by offering to have the match tomorrow on Main Event instead. Dean is fine with that. The match ends in a DQ when Blake and also Murphy come out to attack Miz, causing a DQ. Dean is pissed at them for ruining his title shot, so he starts to fight with them as well. Security breaks it up, and Miz grabs a mic and challenges Blake and Murphy to a tag match on Smackdown.

On Smackdown, we get an interview with Miz and Nattie where Miz suggests that Nattie should be at ringside when he and Dean face Blake & Murphy because Blake & Murphy might have more allies who could jump her backstage during Miz’s match like Blake & Brie did last month. Miz also assures her that if Dean goes crazy- as he is prone to do- and tries to hurt Nattie, Miz will be there to protect her. Nattie gives in and agrees to be at ringside, although she clearly thinks that last bit was a little weird on Miz’s part.
The match itself is quite interesting, as Dean starts the match for the babyfaces, but every single time he tries to tag out, one of the heels goes over to menace Nattie on the outside and Miz goes to protect Nattie, so he isn’t there when Dean needs him. Eventually Blake pins Dean to pick up the win. Blake, Murphy and Brie all celebrate.

On Raw, Steph calls out Dean and Miz to talk about rescheduling Dean’s title shot. Miz complains that he won the match (by DQ) and thus Dean shouldn’t get another rematch, but Steph disagrees, and books the match for Smackdown.
On Main Event, Blake cuts a promo saying that, by pinning #1 contender Dean, he should get a US Title shot, too. Miz comes out and offers to defend the belt against both Blake and Dean at the same time. The announcers note that this is very out of character for Miz. Steph agrees to add Blake to match.

In addition to the US Title match, Smackdown also features a women’s battle royale to determine who will get a shot at the Divas Title on Raw. Paige and Tamina, who have both been claiming to still deserve a title shot, spend the whole match going after each other. Alicia Fox spends most of the match trying to get her hands on Summer Rae and eventually succeeds, tossing Summer over the top rope. Summer later comes back out and distracts Fox, allowing Tamina to eliminate her. It comes down to Paige, Tamina and Nattie, and Nattie manages to eliminate both of her opponents at the same time, while they struggle against each other in the ropes (you know the spot I’m talking about).
After the match, Miz says he thinks it’s safest if Nattie goes back to the hotel. Nattie says she thinks she’ll be fine staying here, so Miz asks her to please do so because he cares about her and doesn’t want to have to worry about someone attacking her while he is defending his title tonight. Nattie gives in and agrees to go back to the hotel. Miz successfully defends the US Title in a triple threat match against Blake and Ambrose by pinning Blake with an abrupt and weak-looking roll-up just five minutes into the match.

On Raw, Brie screws up Nattie’s title shot by attacking her and causing a DQ, which leads to a No DQs match being announced on Raw the next week. On Smackdown, Paige and Tamina go to a double DQ in a #1 contendership match when Alicia Fox and Summer Rae both get involved.

In Nattie and Brie’s No DQ’s match, Miz comes out with Nattie, but Blake and Murphy don’t come out with Brie, which seems to really shock Miz. Miz says he’ll go to the back to find out where they are hiding. Surprisingly, they don’t turn up while Miz is gone, and Nattie wins by working over Brie’s back with weapons and making her tap to the Sharpshooter.
Also on this show, Steph announces a four-way women’s title match at MITB between Ashley, Paige, Tamina, and Nattie.

On Smackdown, Miz cuts a promo in which he says that the reason Blake and Murphy didn’t interfere in the Brie vs. Nattie match was that he went backstage and beat them up by himself in their locker room.
Nattie shows up and thanks Miz for being so brave and helping her so much. Miz moves in like he’s about to get a kiss, but Nattie laughs at this awkward silliness- she’s a married woman after all- and gives Miz a hug. Miz looks disappointed.

Blake and Murphy do not show up at all the next week, and Brie walks right by Nattie while she is doing an interview, and despite Nattie tensing up for a fight, Brie just ignores her, which, the announcers comment is odd.
Miz is announced as a participant in one of the MITB matches.
Also announced is Summer Rae vs. Alicia Fox… and to stop Summer from running and Tamina from interfering, the match will take place inside a steel cage!

MITB MATCHES:
Because of their losing streak, it is announced that only one member of International Airstrike 2.0 will be able to qualify for an MITB match…and to decide which one it is, they will face off against each other! Gabriel wins clean by getting his knees up to block a Red Arrow, then rolls Neville over into a pin.
Wade Barrett’s losing streak is so bad that he is not even given a qualifying match.
The WWE Title Contract MITB Match participants are: Dolph, Truth, Miz, Kofi, Dean Ambrose, Rhyno (who has just popped up on the main roster and squashed jobbers), Rusev (who remains undefeated) and- returning from injury- SETH ROLLINS!
The World Heavyweight Title Contract MITB Match participants are: Roman Reigns, Justin Gabriel, Big E., Big Show, Damien Sandow, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil… and a mystery participant who Steph is hyping up big time.

UNDERCARD MATCHES:

Kalisto returns and is looking for revenge on his former mentor Sin Cara!
John Cena, who has started picking up wins after his win over Barrett at Judgment Day, engages in a war of words with Bray Wyatt, which results in those two being booked against each other at the PPV.
Wade Barrett is booked against Adrian Neville
Jack Swagger goes on a winning streak via Patriot Act, and winds up booked against Mark Henry at the PPV.

WWE Money in the Bank 2015: (7/19/2015)- St. Louis, MO

PRE-SHOW:
We get a bunch of promos to build up the MITB matches. During Roman’s promo, Paul Heyman comes up to Roman and tells him that if he feels he needs some help during his Money in the Bank Ladder match tonight, all he needs to do is signal to the back and Dolph Ziggler will come out and give him a hand. This is just another sample of the benefits Roman will be able to reap if he signs on to become a Paul Heyman Guy.

WADE BARRETT vs. ADRIAN NEVILLE-
They go for about eleven minutes before Neville is set up for the Red Arrow but Sylvester Lefort comes out to distract the ref while Rusev shoves Neville off the top rope. Wade then hits the Barrett Barrage and gets the pin. Wade and Lefort shake hands.

We get promos building up the Divas Title match, the World Heavyweight Title match, and the WWE Title match.

MAIN SHOW:
WWE TITLE MONEY IN THE BANK CONTRACT LADDER MATCH: Dolph Ziggler vs. Alexander Rusev vs. The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Kofi Kingston vs. R-Truth vs. Rhyno-
About ten minutes in we get a big spot where Rollins seems to have the match won, but Ambrose scurries up the ladder and they get into a tug of war until Dolph pushes the ladder over and sends them both crashing to the ground. A few minutes later Miz is about to win but Wesley Blake comes out and shoves the ladder over. He shouts something to the Miz about “money in my bank” before angrily walking off. Ambrose wins the match in twenty minutes.

MARK HENRY (w/Big E. Langston) vs. JACK SWAGGER (w/Kane)-
Swagger makes Henry tap to the Patriot Act in nine minutes.

STEEL CAGE MATH: Summer Rae vs. Alicia Fox-
We can probably get some fun comedy early on with Summer refusing to get in the cage and then running for her life from Fox once they’re both in there. Fox wins clean in ten minutes with a moonsault off the cage.

SIN CARA vs. KALISTO-
Kalisto wins clean in thirteen minutes

JOHN CENA vs. BRAY WYATT (w/the Wyatt Family)-
Cena wins clean in fourteen minutes with the AA.

WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Usos(c) vs. The Colons (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Usos win clean in fifteen minutes.

FATAL FOUR-WAY MATCH FOR THE WWE DIVAS TITLE: Ashley Flair(c) vs. Natalya Neidhart vs. Tamina vs. Paige-
Paige gets a visual pinfall on Ashley but the ref is distracted. Ashley eventually wins in sixteen minutes, stealing Nattie’s pinfall on Tamina.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MONEY IN THE BANK CONTRACT LADDER MATCH: Big Show vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Roman Reigns vs. Titus O’Neil vs. Darren Young vs. Big E. Langston vs Damien Sandow vs. Sheamus!
Sheamus is the returning mystery competitor!
One of the overarching stories of the match is PTP using teamwork, which, as the announcers make sure to point out, is something Roman could have if he were to take Heyman up on his offer and signal for help from Ziggler. We build up to a spot where he seems to be considering it, but doesn’t (maybe someone is slowly climbing up the ladder while Roman is down on the ramp and he looks to the ring, then looks back to the stage as if he is about to signal, but then looks back at the ring, wills himself to his feet, charges into the ring and stops the guy from winning at the last second).
Sheamus takes one hell of a beating during the match, but manages to pick up the win in twenty minutes.

WWE TITLE MATCH: Antonio Cesaro(c) vs. Kane (w/Team Anger)-
Cesaro wins clean in twenty minutes.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Cody Rhodes(c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan-
The story of the match is that Bryan and Orton are more focused on fighting each other than winning the match, which allows Cody time to recover when he would otherwise be down and out. The finish comes at about the twenty-two minute mark when Bryan nails Orton with the Busaiku Knee, but rather than going for a cover, he lines Randy up for the punt, but Cody slips in behind him, drills him with Cross Rhodes, and gets the win. Bryan is still down when Orton makes it back up to his feet, so Orton drills Bryan in the head with a punt.

In amusing news, when I tried to post MITB into the file I store all of this in on my computer, Word would not comply, as it told me this document had "too many edits" so I had to make "Raw 1000 and Beyond: Part 2." Stopping just before MITB 2015 (about three years of booking), the original document sits at 880 pages.

ROAD TO SUMMER SLAM 2015

WWE TITLE PICTURE:
For the first week and a half of the “month” between PPVs, Cena and Rollins both pick up some big wins. In Rollins case, the story is him trying to fulfill his boyhood dream. In Cena’s case, we start to focus on the story that Cena hasn’t been able to win big matches recently, but this seems to have started to turn around following his victory over Wade Barrett at Judgment Day.
To determine who will face Cesaro at Summer Slam, Steph comes up with a nifty new idea: She guarantees the fans at home that either Cena or Rollins be the #1 contender, but to determine which one it is, they will be given an equal number of matches and put on a “point system.”
Getting the pin/submission= 3 points
Winning by DQ/count-out= 2 points
Being on the winning team in a tag match but not being the legal man= 1 point
Being in a multi-person match and not taking the fall= 0 points
Being on the losing team in a tag match but not being the guy to take the fall= -1 point
Losing a match and taking the fall= -3 points
They obviously wind up even in the end, with neither guy ever taking a fall. Rollins get to wrestle first on the final night and he picks up a pinfall victory, meaning that Cena must do the same in his match later on or else Rollins will be the #1 contender… and of course Cena does. Steph comes out and announces that because of the tie, they will BOTH challenge Cesaro in Triple Threat match at Summer Slam!
In the meantime, Steph decided to bring back the “Summer Rumble” mini-Royale Rumble, which Kalisto wins and earns himself a WWE Title shot. He loses cleanly to Cesaro in what should be an amazing match.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE PICTURE AND RANDY ORTON vs. DANIEL BRYAN:

Sheamus is booked against someone the night after Money in the Bank. He says he wants his match to be first so he doesn’t have to waste any more time before he cashes in Money in the Bank on Cody Rhodes to regain “my World Heavyweight Title.” During the match, Cody comes out and attacks Sheamus’ leg, causing a DQ. Cody continues to work over the leg. Security rushes out to stop him, but Sheamus’ leg is clearly injured.
Bryan is out for about two weeks following Orton’s dastardly punt to the head after their match at Money in the Bank. On Raw, Orton says he should get another shot at Cody because he was never pinned, and now there will finally be no Daniel Bryan in the way to ruin things for him. On Smackdown Steph comes out and says that she wouldn’t give Orton a title shot otherwise, but she is angry at Cody for trying to dodge Sheamus by injuring him, so she will give Orton “one last chance” on Raw in a week and half in San Jose. “No matter what happens, this is it. No more rematches.”
Obviously Daniel Bryan returns in that match and screws Orton. Orton and Bryan continue to fight all the time until they are booked in a feud-ending Last Man Standing match at Summer Slam. These two men, who have been feuding over who is “weak” will settle their feud by beating each other with whatever they can get their hands on until one of them is too weak to get back up.
As for Sheamus, it is announced that he will be ready to return at Summer Slam and he lets everyone know that he is cashing his MITB briefcase in at Summer Slam, and now, with their roles reversed from last year’s match, Sheamus vows to regain the title that Cody stole from him one year ago.

BROCK LESNAR vs. JACK SWAGGER:

We build Swagger up as an anger-fueled monster and push his amateur credentials. Brock, for his part, is focused on working his way back up to the top so he can once again become world champion.

US TITLE PICTURE (Miz's Secret revealed!):
On Raw the night after MITB, Miz calls out Blake. Blake comes out and Miz yells at him for screwing him out of MITB. Blake tells Miz that he told him last night: “If I don’t get money in my bank then you don’t get your Money in the Bank.” He then tells Miz “you have one week” and walks off.
Later on, an interviewer asks Miz what that was all about. Miz claims he paid Blake and Murphy and Brie to not attack Nattie at the PPV like they were planning on doing, but that dastardly Blake attacked him instead… but Miz is just happy that they didn’t hurt Nattie.
On Main Event the next night Miz calls Blake out again, but this time Blake doesn’t answer. On Smackdown, Miz calls Blake out once again, and even offers to put up his US Title against him tomorrow night on Superstars. Blake comes out and agrees, but tells Miz that if things don’t go how Blake wants, then things are going to stop going how Miz wants them to go, too. Later on, an interviewer asks Miz what this all means, but Miz refuses to answer the question.
On Superstars, the video package focuses on the feud between Blake & Brie (& Murphy) and Miz & Nattie. Miz is very defensive and insists that he has no idea why these people have targeted Nattie and says that he only got involved because helping poor Nattie was the chivalrous thing to do. Blake drops cryptic hints that everything is not what it seems.
In the match itself, Miz manages to retain the US Title cleanly, but the match is MUCH more hard-fought than the three-way these two had also involving Dean Ambrose where Miz quickly pinned Blake with a roll-up. After the match, Blake laughs at Miz and tells him he has four days.

Four days later on Raw, Blake reveals the big secret: Every single thing that has happened since the beginning of this feud when Brie attacked Nattie in Cincinnati two months ago has been one huge lie. The entire feud has been orchestrated by The Miz in an effort to get into Nattie’s pants after his initial plan of making her hang out with him by trying to get her to be his official valet failed. Every backstage attack, every bit of danger Nattie has been in has all been The Miz’s fault, and was all designed to make him look good to Nattie; to make him look like he cared about her when all he really wanted was to bone her.
Blake even admits that, on Miz’s instructions, he threw some matches (like the three-way US Title match with Dean last month). But now Miz has stopped paying up- probably because he realizes that Nattie isn’t going to cheat on Tyson Kidd with him- and so Blake threatened Miz: either you pay what you owe me or else I’ll spill the beans. Miz tried to negotiate down with him while they were in the ring on Superstars, but Blake didn’t budge on his number. Miz failed to meet his deadline, so Blake has exposed him for the liar that he is.
Miz comes out and claims that this is all made up, but Steph shows up and orders Miz removed from the building. She thanks Blake for his honesty… but then fires him for accepting a payoff to throw a match, thus damaging the integrity of the WWE! (He and Murphy will be repackaged)
When we get back from commercial, we are shown footage of Nattie trying to attack Miz while security takes him away, and security has to hold her back. Steph shows up and tells Nattie to fly home to Calgary and be with her husband.
It is announced the next day on WWE.com that Miz has been suspended for two weeks and fined A LOT of money, and that he is in very hot water with management and had better be on his best behavior when he gets back.
While Miz is away on suspension, Nattie’s husband Tyson Kidd returns to WWE. His leg is clearly not back to 100%, but he tells Steph that he wants a match with Miz when Miz gets back so that he can kick Miz’s ass for both trying to take his woman and also for putting her through physical and emotional pain. Steph says that she will only let him do so if his leg has healed up to her satisfaction, so he goes back to Calgary to rehab some more.
When Miz does get back, he is put into a match against Rhyno in which he rolls to the outside and takes a count-out loss instead of getting up and eating a Gore for the certain pinfall loss. Rhyno thinks he deserves a title shot because of this. Dean, too, thinks that he should get a US Title shot because his first rematch turned out to be fixed by Miz and Blake. Steph decides to book a parejas increibles match for that week’s Smackdown where the two of them will team up to face Miz and Rollins, and whichever one of them gets the pin will get a US Title shot at Summer Slam, but if they lose, then neither one of them will (Rollins is incentivized not to betray Miz because of the points system thing in his angle with Cena explained above). The finish of that match sees Rhyno try to Gore Miz but accidentally hit Dean instead, leading to Miz pinning Dean. Dean accuses Rhyno of hitting him on purpose, and they wind up with a match booked for Summer Slam. There is also some tension between Seth and Dean over Seth not breaking up Miz’s pin on Dean so that Dean wouldn’t get screwed, but Seth didn’t want to risk giving up important points in his title shot angle with Cena.
The next week on Raw (the go-home Raw), Miz brags about not having to defend his title against anyone, but Steph comes out and tells him that he will be facing Tyson Kidd at Summer Slam one way or the other… and under the Thirty Days Rule, he needs to defend his title at some point in the next week, so she has decided that that match will be for the US Title! Miz says this is unfair, but Steph reminds him of his crimes and tells him he had better shut up before she makes it worse.
On Smackdown we get a Tyson Kidd promo live via satellite from Calgary where he says he is going to give Miz the worst beating of his life. Kidd wrestles in our featured match on Superstars, and while he wins, it is clear that his leg isn’t at 100%.

DIVAS TITLE PICTURE:
We build Alicia Fox up for a title shot and she loses clean. In the background, we are also building up Paige and Nattie because they both didn’t get pinned clean in the four way at Money in the Bank. At Summer Slam, Ashley Flair will defend the title in a triple threat match against Paige and Nattie.

INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE PICTURE:
Heyman continues courting Roman to get him to sign on as a Paul Heyman Guy. Big E. Langston earns an IC Title shot and Heyman has Dolph interfere behind Roman’s back to help Roman get the win. Heyman tells Roman that he can get this sort of help any time he wants if he is a Paul Heyman Guy, but Roman says he doesn’t need Heyman’s help and he wants to do things on his own like his pal Cesaro. This leads to Dolph and Heyman feuding with Reigns and Dolph challenging for the IC Title at Summer Slam.

TAG TEAM DIVISION:
Sin Cara signs on to join Sylvester Lefort’s stable, which Lefort is now calling the League of Nations. Rusev and Cara form a tag team and get a bunch of wins, all via Rusev’s accolade. They are named challengers to the tag titles at Summer Slam (the Usos defeat a pair of Wyatts who have eliminated them from the Summer Rumble to retain their titles and satisfy the Thirty Days Rule).
Meanwhile on the first Raw after MITB, Zayn & Owens pick up their big first win with a roll-up victory over the Colons. This upsets the Colons, who spend the rest of the “month” feuding with Zayn & Owens and always getting the better of them. The Colons cut promos that highlight Owens & Zayn’s poor record and insist that they “don’t belong on the main roster” (and JBL backs them up). The Colons insist that they are going to humiliate Owens & Zayn at Summer Slam, and they want to do so by beating them in two straight falls of a two-out-of-three falls match.

WADE BARRETT vs. BRAY WYATT:

The focus of this feud is that things have turned around for Wade since they last met in the Fans’ Choice match at CyberSlam, while Bray’s success (and that of the entire Wyatt Family) has been moderate- but just “moderate” success is a lower level compared to what they have had since Bray first founded the family. Bray keeps urging both his followers and the fans to “believe in Bray Wyatt, because with the guidance of Bray Wyatt, all things are possible.”

MEANWHILE, DOWN ON NXT…
We had a tournament to crown a new NXT Women’s Champion at the May Takeover Special. It was won by Sasha, who cheated to beat her heel-buddy Becky in the semi-finals and then cheated to beat Bayley semi-cleanly in the finals. This has resulted in Becky turning face and being set up as Sasha’s top challenger for Takeover: Brooklyn.

Bayley, for her part, has been depressed since her loss, but she gets a pep talk from her idol, Lita, and is ready to start toughening up and working her way up the card to earn a title shot again. She had faced Dana Brooke on NXT TV and Dana cheated to get the win, but Bayley has vowed to beat Dana in a rematch at Takeover: Brooklyn.

Finn Balor defends the NXT Title against Sami Zayn in Sami’s rematch.

Colin & Enzo challenge for the tag team titles against whichever heels are champions right now.

We build up to a badass vs. badass match with Joe vs. Baron Corbin… and because such a match could easily get out of hand, there will be a Special Guest Referee to keep order.

Apollo Crews will make his debut

William Regal has brought in Jushin “Thunder” Liger to face Tyler Breeze.

SUMMER SLAM RUNDOWN

WWESummer Slam 2015: (8/23/2015)- Brooklyn, NY

WWE TITLE MATCH: Antonio Cesaro(c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena
Seth Rollins looks to fulfill his lifelong dream, John Cena looks to prove that he hasn't lost his touch in big matches, and Antonio Cesaro simply looks to retain the WWE Title that he has worked so long and hard to obtain. Only one of these men will leave Summer Slam with their goal accomplished.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Cody Rhodes(c) vs. Sheamus
In a rematch of last year's Summer Slam main event, Sheamus cashes in his Money in the Bank contract and looks to regain the World Heavyweight Title from the very man who stole the title from him in controversial, ending his epic, multi-year title reign one year ago.

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH: Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton
These two men will finally settle who is the "weaker" man by beating each other until one of them can't answer a ten count.

BROCK LESNAR (w/Paul Heyman) vs. JACK SWAGGER (w/Team Anger)
Two men with outstanding amateur credentials, one fueled by rage, the other by determination. What will happen when these two collide?

WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: The Miz(c) vs. Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya Neidhart)
Miz took advantage of Tyson Kidd's injury to concoct an elaborate scheme to try to seduce Tyson's wife. Now, Tyson Kidd has returned to make Miz pay... but has he rushed back too early?

WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Ashley Flair(c) vs Paige vs. Natalya Neidhart (w/Tyson Kidd)
The scions of three prestigious wrestling families go at it for the highest prize in women's wrestling. Will Ashley manage to once again survive the odds, or will one of these two determined challengers add yet another title to their family's impressive resume?

WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Roman Reigns(c) vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/Paul Heyman)
Roman Reigns has spurned Paul Heyman's offer to become a Paul Heyman guy. Now Heyman and Ziggler look to make Reigns regret that decision by using Paul Heyman's superior strategies to take away the title that Roman has worked so hard for.

WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Usos(c) vs. The League of Nations (Sin Cara & Alexander Rusev) (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)
Lefort's unstoppable Bulgarian juggernaut teams with his partner Sin Cara to try to conquer the titles from the Samoan dynasty in the name of the League of Nations.

WADE BARRETT (w/Sylvester Lefort) vs. BRAY WYATT (w/the Wyatt Family)
Much has changed for Barrett since these two met in the fan's choice match at CyberSlam, but for Wyatt, things have been disappointingly stagnant. How will they fare in this rematch three months later?

TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. The Colons (w/Rosa Mendes)
The Colons have been insistent that Zayn & Owens previous win over them was a fluke and that Zayn & Owens do not belong on the main roster. The two best friends from Quebec look to prove them wrong.

THE BIGGEST TAG TEAM MATCH OF THE SUMMER: International Airstrike 2.0, Big Show, Kofi Kingston, Michael McGillicutty Kalisto, Zack Ryder, Mark Henry, & Big E. Langston vs. Kane, R-Truth, the Prime Time Players, Brain Trust, & the Wyatt Family (Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, & Ryback) (w/Bray Wyatt, Jack Swagger, & Naomi)
The biggest match of the summer takes place on the biggest show of the summer!

PRE-SHOW MATCH: Dean Ambrose vs. Rhyno
Two men who think the other cost them a shot at the US Title. Throw in the well-known poor tempers and propensity for brawling that these two have, and this is sure to be a wild one!

NXT Takeover: Brooklyn (8/22/2015)- Brooklyn, NY

TYLER BREEZE vs. JUSHIN “THUNDER” LIGER-
Liger wins clean in fifteen minutes

BAYLEY vs. DANA BROOKE
Bayley wins clean in ten minutes.

APOLLO CREWS vs. TYE DILLENGER-
Crews squashes Dillenger like a bug.

NXT TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Heel Tag Champs(c) vs. Colin Cassady & Enzo Amore (w/Carmella)-
Big babyface title win for Enzo & Cass.

Triple H comes out and makes his big “proud papa” speech. Then he introduces the special guest referee for the next match: “This is the first guy we thought of when we realized that an ordinary referee wouldn’t do for Joe vs. Corbin. This is the only person badass enough to keep law and order when monsters like this go at it. THIS… IS… TAZ!

SINGLES MATCH WITH TAZ AS THE SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: Samoa Joe vs. Baron Corbin-
Joe wins clean in fifteen minutes, making Corbin tap to the Coquina Clutch.

NXT TITLE MATCH: Finn Balor(c) vs. Sami Zayn (w/Kevin Owens)-
Balor wins clean in twenty minutes.

NXT WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH: Sasha Banks(c) vs. Becky Lynch-
Sasha wins clean in twenty-five minutes to retain the title. The goal of this is to hopefully get a moment like they got in real life for Becky at the May Takeover show. I’d give these two the main event because their match has a less predictable finish.

WWE Summer Slam 2015: (8/23/2015)- Brooklyn, NY

PRE-SHOW:
We get a promo from Tyson Kidd about how badly he is going to kick Miz’s ass for everything he has done and tried to do to Nattie. Renee asks Tyson if his leg is really 100%, saying that it didn’t look that way on Superstars. Tyson assures her that his leg is fine. Everyone on the pre-show panel is certain he is lying.
We get a promo by Lefort & Lana (w/Sin Cara & Rusev) saying that they will win the tag titles tonight.
We get a promo by Roman saying that he doesn’t need Paul Heyman to become a superstar and he will prove it tonight by beating Heyman’s charge Dolph Ziggler and retaining his title.

DEAN AMBROSE vs. RHYNO-
As predicted, this quickly breaks down into a brawl. At one point, when they are on the outside, Dean grabs a chair and is about to use it as a weapon, but he manages to regain control of himself and doesn’t use it. Dean winds up winning cleanly in fifteen minutes. The announcers spend a lot of time talking about Dean’s WWE Title Money in the Bank Contract and hyping up the possibility that he could cash it in tonight because he will have so much time to recover before the main event.

We get a promo by Paul Heyman on behalf of Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler to hype up their matches.
We get promos by Cena, Rollins, and Cesaro all putting over their stories heading in the WWE Title match.
We get a promo by Sheamus in which, like Tyson Kidd, he claims that his leg is fully healed. He also talks about how eager he is to regain "my World Heavyweight Title."

MAIN SHOW:
(This is a four-hour PPV)
2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH: Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs. The Colons (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Zayn & Owens win cleanly in eleven minutes, picking up the first fall in ten minutes when Zayn pins Epico after a Helluva Kick and then picking up the second fall about a minute later when Owens pins Primo after a pop-up powerbomb for the emphatic 2-0 victory. The announcers- even JBL, who has been down on them for never winning- say that Zayn & Owens have proved that they belong on the main roster, and JBL even gets into the ring to shake their hands and raise their arms in victory.

THE BIGGEST TAG TEAM MATCH OF THE SUMMER: International Airstrike 2.0, Big Show, Kofi Kingston, Michael McGillicutty, Kalisto, Zack Ryder, Mark Henry, & Big E. Langston vs. Kane, R-Truth, the Prime Time Players, Brain Trust, & the Wyatt Family (Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, & Ryback) (w/Bray Wyatt, Jack Swagger, & Naomi)-
The match goes for about ten minutes of people doing their stuff and running in a lot, etc. etc. until it breaks down into a schmoz. Big E. pins Ryback with the Big Ending for the finish.

Renee Young is interviewing Zayn & Owens backstage. Zayn cuts a promo saying that a lot of people would have been demoralized by suffering a big loss in the same building the night before a big match like he did when he lost an NXT Title match to Finn Balor last night at Takeover… but instead, he took it as a sign. That was the universe’s way of telling him that he and Kevin were done with NXT and it was finally time to take their place on the main roster.
Owens adds in that they have now proved that they belong on the main roster, so their next step will be winning the WWE World Tag Team Titles!

WADE BARRETT (w/Sylvester Lefort) vs. BRAY WYATT (w/the Wyatt Family)-
Wade wins clean in thirteen minutes, pinning Bray after hitting the Barrett Barrage.

WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: The Miz(c) vs. Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya)-
Tyson beats the crap out of the The Miz for a while. Miz maneuvers to get Nattie ejected from ringside, and while Tyson is distracted by this, Miz clips his knee, which immediately buckles. Miz works over the knee for a few minutes, and being the cocky dick that he is, Miz locks in the Sharpshooter. Tyson stays in the hold for a long time, with the announcers wondering how much damage is being done to the clearly not-yet-healed leg, before Tyson has no choice but to tap out. Match should go about thirteen minutes, with the Sharpshooter locked in for at least the final minute, if not a bit longer.

WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Usos(c) vs. The League of Nations (Sin Cara & Alexander Rusev) (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)-
The Usos win clean in fourteen minutes, pinning Cara after their big double-team splash. Sylvester Lefort is very unhappy that his team has lost.

WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Roman Reigns(c) vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/Paul Heyman)-
Roman overcomes all of the heels’ cheating and retains his title, pinning Ziggler after a spear in seventeen minutes.

We get a backstage promo by Daniel Bryan hyping up his match with Randy Orton. Bryan says that his wife AJ wanted to be here with him for this match, but after what happened the last time AJ was at ringside in her vulnerable, injured state for a match against Randy Orton, Bryan wouldn’t allow it because there is no telling what Randy might try to do to her. Instead, he says he will use AJ’s absence as motivation: AJ not being there for him is a reminder of why he hates Randy Orton so much and why he will not allow himself to lose this match!

WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Ashley Flair(c) vs. Natalya Neidhart vs. Paige-
The announcers inform us that Tyson Kidd’s knee injury is serious, and thus he won’t be out here with Nattie tonight. They wonder how this will affect Nattie mentally. The finish comes in fifteen minutes when Paige his the Rampage on Nattie but Ashley pulls her out of the ring and steals the pin.

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH: Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton-
Bryan wins in twenty-five brutal minutes.

BROCK LESNAR (w/Paul Heyman) vs. JACK SWAGGER (w/Team Anger)-
I’d try to do a modern version of Angle vs. Benoit from WrestleMania X-Seven, where they start off with a lot of amateur stuff (which will also help cool the crowd down after the crazy Last Man Standing match), and then build up to Swagger getting angry and throwing a punch, leading to it turning into a full-blown Danielson vs. Strong at ROH Vendetta type of thing where they are just trying to rip each other’s limbs off. Brock would win clean in eighteen minutes with the Kimura, and Swagger would show him respect after the match.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Cody Rhodes(c) vs. Sheamus-
Like Miz did earlier, Cody targets Sheamus’ leg- the same leg that Cody broke at WrestleMania and then re-injured on Raw the night after Money in the Bank. Unlike with Tyson’s leg, though, Sheamus’ really is fully healed, so Cody’s strategy isn’t as successful. Cody kicks out of a Brogue Kick and Sheamus kicks out of a CrossRhodes, but the match comes to an end in about twenty-three minutes, when Sheamus nails Cody with a Brogue Kick to the back of the head and gets the pin. Cody is knocked out cold by the force of the kick.

WWE TITLE MATCH: Antonio Cesaro(c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena-
Seth Rollins’ best pal Dean Ambrose comes out to do commentary, and he brings his WWE Title Contract Money in the Bank briefcase with him. The announcers ask him if he is going to cash in tonight. Dean says he is only bringing it with him so that it doesn’t get stolen.
The finish comes at about the twenty-two minute mark with Cesaro down on the outside and Rollins set up to hit the Phoenix Splash on Cena. Dean gets out of his chair to cheer on his best pal… but the ref sees Dean coming towards him and asks him if he wants to cash in MITB right now… and as a result, the referee is completely missing Rollins nailing the Phoenix Splash and pinning John Cena!
Dean desperately tries to get ref to turn around. When he does, we get a two count before Cesaro lifts Seth off of Cena, then hits Seth with the Gotch-Style Neutralizer onto Cena, rolls Seth over, and pins him to retain the WWE Title… and the announcers drill it home that if Dean hadn’t been there, his best friend Seth Rollins would be the WWE Champion right now.

WWE.com reports that Randy Orton will be out for a few weeks due to injuries he sustained during his Last Man Standing match against Daniel Bryan at Summer Slam.
Tyson Kidd’s knee was reinjured during his match with The Miz at Summer Slam. He will be out of action for a few weeks.
Cody Rhodes suffered a concussion when he was knocked unconscious by a Brogue Kick to the back of the head in his World Heavyweight Title defense against Sheamus. He will be out of action until WWE doctors clear him to return.

Raw (8/24/2015)- Brooklyn, NY:
Raw opens with Steph coming out and announcing that this year we will once again be doing the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge with the winner getting to choose his or her challenger at Night of Champions.
Steph is interrupted by the new World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus. He says that the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge is nice and all, but he wants to get back to defending his title as soon as possible. Steph tells him that she is very happy that he wants to be a fighting champion, but the rules are the rules… but she will do him a favor and let him have his Beat The Clock Challenge match tonight so that he can get to defending his title once he is no longer the Beat The Clock Challenge leader. Tonight he will face… THE BIG SHOW!
Sheamus thanks Steph and heads off. Steph starts to talk about how great Summer Slam was, but is now interrupted by Daniel Bryan. Bryan says he wants to wrestle tonight. Steph says she thought he might want the night off because he’s so banged up from Summer Slam. He says he is banged up but he still wants to wrestle because he loves wrestling and loves the fans and wants to thank these great fans in Brooklyn for supporting him last night, etc. etc. etc. Steph lets him have an open challenge, right here, right now.

DANIEL BRYAN vs. BO DALLAS-
Bo comes out to answer Bryan’s open challenge, cutting a promo saying that with Bryan so banged up from Summer Slam, he is confident he can win tonight. He doesn’t, of course, as Bryan beats Bo clean in five minutes, making him tap out to the Yes Lock.

KEVIN OWENS & SAMI ZAYN vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS-
Zayn & Owens win clean in ten minutes. After the match, they cut a promo stating that now that they have proved that they belong on the main roster, their next goal is winning the WWE World Tag Team Titles!

BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE MATCH: Sheamus vs. Big Show-
Sheamus wins clean in twenty minutes, pinning Big Show after a Brogue Kick.
After the match, Brock & Heyman come out. Brock and Sheamus have a stare-down as they pass each other on the ramp. Heyman cuts a promo saying no matter which champion wins the Beat The Clock Challenge, he won’t choose Brock because they all know Brock will take their title from them… but that’s okay because Brock Lesnar doesn’t need a shortcut to earn a title shot. He is going to earn one anyway, and beating Jack Swagger last night was just the first step.

Miz cuts a backstage promo bragging about injuring Tyson Kidd and declaring that the Sharpshooter will be his new finisher.

KOFI KINGSTON vs. DAMIEN SANDOW (w/the Brain Trust)-
Sandow wins clean in eleven minutes.

NATALYA NEIDHART vs. EMMA-
Nattie wins a back and forth match cleanly in ten minutes, making Emma tap out with the Sharpshooter.

TEAM ANGER (Kane, Jack Swagger, & R-Truth) vs. INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 & MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY-
Babyfaces win clean in fifteen minutes when McGillicutty pins Swagger.

Ashley Flair cuts a promo bragging about her win and saying she is now done with Paige & Nattie. Paige comes out and says “you didn’t beat me and you stole my pin.” Ashley says “I thought you’d say that because that’s what you always say. If you want a title match so badly, you need to prove that you can actually beat a champion. So I talked to Steph earlier today, and she agreed that if you came out and whined liked this, you’d get a match with the champion, so… bring it.
Paige starts down the ramp but is jumped from behind by NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPION SASHA BANKS, leading to…
PAIGE vs. SASHA BANKS-
Ashley joins the commentary team for this match until the finish, which sees her take advantage of the referee paying attention to Sasha to sneak into the ring and hit Paige in the back of the head with the Divas Title. Ashley rolls out of the ring and Sasha runs over and pins Paige to win the match.

CO-BRO vs. THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (Wade Barrett & Alexander Rusev) (w/Sylvester Lefort, Lana, & Sin Cara)-
Wade and Rusev destroy Ryder in about a minute, with Wade knocking him out via Barrett Barrage. Santino goes to check on Wade, but the heels surround him threateningly. Lefort grabs a mic and declares that he will now show the world what happens to those who stand in the way of the success of Alexander Rusev and the League of Nations…
And then Wade and Rusev beat the sh*t out of Sin Cara! Rusev locks Cara in the Accolade while Lefort cuts a promo explaining that Cara is a failure. Rusev earned all of their wins in their matches as a team and it was Cara who got pinned by the Usos last night to cost the League of Nations the WWE World Tag Team Titles. Rusev then picks Cara up and Wade KOs him with a Barrett Barrage and the League of Nations walks off, leaving Cara unconscious in the ring. When we return from a commercial break, we see footage of Cara being stretchered out.

KALISTO vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Paul Heyman)-
Dolph wins clean in fifteen minutes and Heyman cuts a promo putting him over.

John Cena cuts a backstage promo saying that he didn’t win the WWE Title last night at Summer Slam… but he didn’t get pinned either, and he is going to do his best to earn another shot at the WWE Title!

Next we get JBL’s special sit-down in-ring interview with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. JBL tries to stir up sh*t between them, asking Dean if he distracted the ref and screwed Rollins out of the WWE Title on purpose last night. Dean says that he didn’t, but JBL insists that Dean was jealous of Seth getting a title shot at Summer Slam while he didn’t. He points back to the Rollins & Miz vs. Rhyno & Ambrose tag match a few weeks ago where there was tension between them because Seth didn’t break up a pin that Miz had on Ambrose (so that Seth himself would be on the winning side of the match and get some points in the points system #1 contendership competition he was in against Cena). Both Seth and Dean deny this.
JBL still insists that Dean is jealous of Seth’s success (Seth has had many world title matches while Dean has had very few) and demands that Dean tell everyone if he was going to cash in MITB on Seth if Seth had won. Dean says that he wouldn’t, but JBL insists he is lying. Ambrose storms off, closely followed by Rollins.

MARK HENRY, BIG E. LANGSTON, & ROMAN REIGNS vs. HEATH SLATER & THE USOS-
Roman, Henry, & Big E. win clean in seven minutes when Big E. pins Slater after a Big Ending.

ANTONIO CESARO vs. LUKE HARPER (w/the Wyatt Family)-
Cesaro wins clean in twenty-five minutes.

WWE.com reports that Paige is out of action with a possible concussion after Charlotte hit her in the head with the Divas Title on Raw. We hope to have a medical update on Sin Cara later this week.

Announced for tonight’s episode of Main Event is:
John Cena vs. Erick Rowan
Daniel Bryan vs. Zack Ryder
The Brain Trust vs. The Colons
Michael McGillicutty vs. Bo Dallas

WWE Main Event (8/25/2015):
DANIEL BRYAN vs. ZACK RYDER-
Bryan wins clean in seven minutes with the Yes Lock.

THE BRAIN TRUST (w/Naomi) vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Brain Trust wins clean in ten minutes when Sandow pins Primo.

MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY vs. BO DALLAS
McGillicutty wins clean in six minutes.

JOHN CENA vs. ERICK ROWAN (w/the Wyatt Family)-
Cena wins clean in fourteen minutes with the AA.

WWE.com releases a medical update on Sin Cara. He has a back injury and will be out for at least the next several months.

Smackdown: (8/27/2015)- Providence, RI

JOHN CENA, KALISTO, & ZACK RYDER vs. ANTONIO CESARO & INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0-
Cena’s team wins clean in eleven minutes when Cena pins Neville after an AA. I’d tell them to make sure that Cena and Cesaro barely touch. After the match, Steph comes out and announces that tomorrow night’s featured match on Superstars will be WWE Champion Antonio Cesaro’s Champions’ Beat the Clock Challenge match… against John Cena.

Renee Young interviews Seth Rollins about Dean Ambrose refusing to answer JBL’s question about if he would have cashed in his MITB briefcase on Seth at Summer Slam if Seth had won in the main event. Seth says that Dean has been avoiding him since Raw, but if Dean needs some space to deal with whatever he is going through right now, Seth will give him that space.

BIG SHOW vs. DAMIEN SANDOW (w/the Brain Trust)-
The announcers tell us that Kofi isn’t out here with Big Show because he is warming up for his match, and they use this as an opportunity to hype that match. Sandow will try to hit the Terminus but can’t because Big Show is so tall. Eventually Sandow get the idea to do a spinning version with him standing on the top turnbuckle to make up for the height, surprising everyone with his a clean victory over the Big Show. Total time should be about seven minutes.

Byron Saxton interviews Cesaro about his match with Cena tomorrow night. Cesaro says that Cena is a tough challenge and beating him within the time limit will be even more difficult.

ROMAN REIGNS & KOFI KINGSTON vs. THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (Wade Barrett & Alexander Rusev) (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)-
Before the match, Lefort cuts a promo bragging about how Rusev injured Sin Cara as punishment for failing the League of Nations and he claims we will never see Cara in the WWE again.
The match starts off with a big stare-down between the so-far unpinned/un-submitted Bulgarian Brute and the Intercontinental Champion. They start to circle each other, but Barrett runs in and attacks Roman from behind, allowing Rusev to get the advantage. The League of Nations works Roman over for a few minutes before he manages to tag in Kofi. Kofi runs wild for a move or two but is then cut off, worked over, and made to tap to the Accolade. Total time should be about eight minutes.

We get a pre-taped sit-down interview with Renee Young interviewing Ashley Flair about her actions on Raw, hitting Paige with the Divas Title and giving her a possible concussion. Renee says she understands that Ashley didn’t want Paige to win the match, but asks Ashley if she feels bad that Paige might have suffered a concussion and will miss time. Ashley arrogantly responds that it doesn’t matter how much time Paige misses because she won’t be missing out on anything because Ashley isn’t planning on picking to defend her title against Paige when she wins the Champions’ Beat the Clock Challenge.

Byron Saxton interviews Dean Ambrose. He asks Dean why he wouldn’t answer JBL’s question about if he would have cashed in his MITB briefcase on Seth at Summer Slam if Seth had won in the main event. Dean takes a few deep breaths, then says the following:
I… I… I don’t know. And that’s what scares me. I mean I know why I didn’t answer the question. What I don’t know is how to answer it. Cashing in a Money in the Bank contract on a weakened opponent? That’s not me. That’s what cowards do. When I cash this briefcase in, I’m going to give the champion all of the notice he needs to have a fair and even match. I want to know for sure that I’m the best.
At least that’s what I thought before Summer Slam. But standing out there with the briefcase, knowing how easy it would be to cash it in and achieve my lifelong dream of becoming the WWE Champion… I was definitely considering cashing in on Cesaro or Cena if they won, and I probably would have if I wasn’t so shocked that I had just accidentally cost my best friend his lifelong dream. And if I’m honest with myself, I honestly don’t know what I would have done in the heat of the moment if Seth had won the title. And on Raw, I didn’t answer JBL’s question because I didn’t want to have to look my best friend in the face and tell him that if he had achieved his lifelong dream, I had no idea whether or not I was going to steal it away from him.

DANIEL BRYAN vs. JACK SWAGGER (w/Team Anger)-
Bryan wins clean in nine minutes with the Busaiku Knee.

Renee Young asks IC Champion Roman Reigns who he would pick to defend his title against if he wins the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge. Roman says that in his mind Big E. deserves a title shot because unwanted interference from Dolph Ziggler screwed Big E. out of his last one.

MARK HENRY & BIG E. LANGSTON vs. BRAY WYATT & RYBACK (w/the Wyatt Family)-
Bray cuts a pre-match promo about how he and Ryback will win because “through Bray Wyatt all things are possible.” Unfortunately for Bray, his team loses when Big E. pins him clean in eight minutes. The announcers put this over as a big win and say that Big E. sure looks to be deserving of an IC Title shot like Roman said.

BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE: The Miz vs. Bo Dallas-
On his way down to the ring, Bo cuts a promo about how everyone thinks he is an underdog tonight going against the US Champion, but he prefers to think positively: He is looking at this match as a chance to beat the US Champion and earn a title match.
Miz has quite a bit of difficulty with Bo and give Bo some nearfalls and even let him kick out of the Skull-Crushing Finale to make people think he might actually might pull it out, but Miz eventually beats him clean in sixteen minutes with a second Skull-Crushing Finale.

Jack Swagger and Kane cut a backstage promo, furious that Dean Ambrose had said in this earlier promo that cashing in Money in the Bank on a downed champion was a “cowardly” act. Both Kane and Swagger remind us that they each won the World Heavyweight Title by cashing in an MITB briefcase like that. They say they want to make Dean pay for calling them cowards.

Steph comes out to the ring to announce a big six-woman tag team match for Raw which will pit Alicia Fox, Nikki Bella, Emma, & Cameron vs. Naomi, Brie Bella, Summer Rae, & Tamina. Sheamus comes out to ask her if now that he is no longer the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge leader and doesn’t have to wait for the other matches in the series to finish, if he can please get down to defending his newly-won World Heavyweight Title already. Steph says that she wants Sheamus’ first defense to be a big deal, so she will look over the roster tonight, and then, tomorrow night on Superstars she will announce a #1 contendership match for Raw, and then Sheamus can defend his title against the winner of that match in the featured match on next week’s Superstars. Sheamus is clearly not very happy about this, but realizes that it is the best he can get, so he accepts it.

THE USOS, SAMI ZAYN, KEVIN OWENS, & MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY vs. DOLPH ZIGLER, THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS, & THE COLONS (w/Paul Heyman & Rosa Mendes)-
A fast-paced, spotty car-crash of a match that the babyfaces win in nine minutes when McGillicutty pins Darren Young with the McGillicutter.

WWE.com announces that, as a result of their comments on Smackdown, Jack Swagger vs. Dean Ambrose has been signed for Raw.

Superstars: (8/28/2015)

Tonight’s featured match is the Beat the Clock Challenge of WWE Champion Antonio Cesaro, who faces John Cena. Our promos focus on building up the Champions Beat the Clock Challenge gimmick, (plugging some of the matches we’ll see on WWE TV next week, like IC Champion Roman Reigns vs. Mark Henry on Raw and WWE world Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose on Smackdown).
Miz cuts a promo bragging about being the leader and taunting everyone, claiming he would pick to defend his title against Tyson Kidd, but he can’t because he put Tyson out of action for good.
Cena’s promos focus on how this is a big match for him and he needs to win it. He also notes that Cesaro did not actually pin him in the World Heavyweight Title match at Summer Slam.

BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE: Antonio Cesaro vs. John Cena-
They go to a sixteen minute draw, meaning Miz still has the best time.

At the end of the show, we get an announcement from Steph that the #1 contendership match on Raw will be a Fatal 4-Way between the four men who have posted 3-0 records on WWE TV this week: Daniel Bryan, Damien Sandow, Michael McGillicutty, & John Cena. The winner of this match will face Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Title next week on Superstars!

Post by Big Red Machine » Apr 14th, '16, 16:38

WWE.com announces the following matches for Raw (in addition to the four-way #1 contendership main event and the Ambrose vs. Swagger match):
WWE Champion Antonio Cesaro & Kalisto vs. Bray Wyatt & Ryback
Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler
International Airstrike 2.0 vs. Harper & Rowan
Brie, Naomi, Summer Rae, & Tamina vs. Nikki, Emma, Alicia Fox, & Cameron
Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge: IC Champion Roman Reigns vs. Mark Henry

Additionally, the following matches are announced for Main Event:
WWE World Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. Kane & R-Truth
US Champion The Miz vs. Big Show
Big E. Langston vs. Seth Rollins

Raw: (8/31/2015)- Tampa, FL

The announcers quickly plug tonight’s main event four-way #1 contendership match between Bryan, Cena, Sandow, and McGillicutty. Over the course of the show we get quick promos from each guy saying that he will win the match and then go on to take the World Heavyweight Title from Sheamus on Smackdown. In Cena’s promo, he says that tonight will be the start of his turn-around and he will end his “big match” jinx in tonight’s main event.

DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Paul Heyman) vs. KOFI KINGSTON (w/Big Show)-
A nice, action-packed, athletic opener. Dolph wins clean in sixteen minutes. The announcers plug Big Show’s match with Miz tomorrow night on Main Event. After the match, Heyman cuts a short promo putting Dolph over.

The Usos cut a quick promo plugging their match against R-Truth & Kane tomorrow on Main Event.

INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. THE WYATT FAMILY (Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) (w/Bray Wyatt & Ryback)-
Wyatts win clean in twelve minutes when Harper pins Neville after the Wyatt’s double-team finisher. After the match Bray cuts a promo talking about how “through Bray Wyatt all things are possible” and says that he and Ryback will win their match later tonight against Cesaro and Kalisto.

Renee Young asks Miz for his thoughts on his match with Big Show tomorrow night on Main Event. Miz says that it isn’t fair that he has been booked in this match. He is leading the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge- and everyone knows he is going to win it because none of the other champions are as good as he is- so he needs to be spending this time scouting for a worthy challenger to pick to defend his US Title against at Night of Champions. He certainly shouldn’t be forced to waste his valuable time wrestling a loser like Big Show.

SAMI ZAYN & KEVIN OWENS vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
PTP win clean in twelve minutes when Darren pins Zayn.

THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana) vs. TWO JOBBERS-
Rusev & Barrett squash the jobbers. After the match Lefort cuts a promo saying that the League of Nations is coming after WWE gold.

NIKKI BELLA, ALICIA FOX, CAMERON, & EMMA vs. BRIE BELLA, SUMMER RAE, TAMINA, & NAOMI (w/the Brain Trust)-
Ashley Flair is on commentary. She says she is doing some scouting to determine which of these women she will pick to defend the Divas Title against at Night of Champions once she wins the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge. The match goes ten minutes, ending when Naomi pins Emma after all of the heels lay her out with their finishers.

We get a quick video package recapping the past week’s issues between best friends Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. It also shows us Team Anger’s promo taking exception to Dean’s comments in his promo about cashing in MITB which led to this match.
DEAN AMBROSE (w/Seth Rollins) vs. JACK SWAGGER (w/Team Anger)-
They go for about five minutes before Kane jumps up on the apron to distract the referee so that Truth can slip into the ring and the heels can double-team Dean. Seth gets into the ring to make the save for his buddy. First he dumps Truth to the floor, then he goes after Swagger… and at that moment the referee turns around to see Seth attacking Swagger and calls for the bell, disqualifying Dean. Seth and Dean argue in the ring as we go to break, and when we come back from commercial, they are still arguing, although by now they have made it back to behind the curtain while Renee Young is patiently standing by to try to get a reaction interview from them. They ignore Renee and just keep arguing until Steph comes up to them and tells them that whatever problems they are having they should try to solve them by this Thursday because on Smackdown they will be teaming up to face the WWE World Tag Team Champions The Usos in the Usos’ Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge match.

BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE: Roman Reigns vs. Mark Henry (w/Big E. Langston)-
The announcers are sure to remind us about Roman’s interview on Smackdown where he said that if he won the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge he would choose Big E. Langston to challenge him for the IC Title at Night of Champions because Big E. was previously screwed out of a title match by Dolph Ziggler.
Roman wins the match clean in nine minutes with a spear, setting the new time to beat.

ANTONIO CESARO & KALISTO vs. THE WYATT FAMILY (Bray Wyatt & Ryback) (w/the Wyatt Family)-
Wyatts win clean when Bray pins Kalisto after a Monster Tamer in fourteen minutes.

WINNER GETS A WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE SHOT ON SMACKDOWN: John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Michael McGillicutty vs. Damien Sandow (w/the Brain Trust)-
Sheamus is on commentary. He shows no favoritism to anyone, only talking about how eager he is to defend his newly-won World Heavyweight Title so that he can start on the path to breaking his own record for most defenses in a single reign and for longest world title reign of the modern era.
The story of the match involves everyone working over Daniel Bryan’s neck. He is hit with the Terminus but he kicks out. He is hit by the McGillicutter but he kicks out. Eventually Cena manages to lock him in the STFU and it looks like Bryan is about to tap but Michael McGillicutty breaks it up. Bryan eventually manages to pick up a win in about twenty-five minutes by knocking McGillicutty out with the Busaiku Knee and getting the pin, but he is selling his head and neck very heavily after the match. The announcers (especially JBL) push the idea that Bryan probably would have had to tap out if McGillicutty hadn’t broken up the STFU (although Cole does make sure to remind everyone that this is how the match works so it’s not like Bryan’s win is illegitimate [the idea that we’re trying to push is that this is another instance of Cena just not being able to win a big match]).

Main Event: (9/1/2015)
THE USOS vs. R-TRUTH & KANE (w/Jack Swagger)-
The Usos win clean in eleven minutes. The announcers us this time to plug the Usos’ Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge match against Seth and Dean on Smackdown as well as the problems Team Anger had with Dean & Seth on Raw.

It is announced that Daniel Bryan suffered a possible neck injury during last night’s #1 contndership match and thus his World Heavyweight Title match against Sheamus on Smackdown might have to be postponed. The announcers promise us that we will have an answer by Thursday.

THE MIZ vs. BIG SHOW (w/Kofi Kingston)-
As Miz is coming to the ring, the announcers remind us of his promo from Raw and joke that now that Roman Reigns beat his time, Miz should be perfectly happy taking this match. The match goes for a few minutes with Big Show dominating most of it until Miz gives up and walks off, taking the count-out loss.

BIG E. LANGSTON (w/Mark Henry) vs. SETH ROLLINS (w/Dean Ambrose)-
Seth sends Dean to the back early on after they get into some sort of argument. Big E. eventually wins clean in eighteen minutes. The announcers put over what a big win this is for him.

Smackdown: (9/3/2015)- Miami, FL
The show opens with Steph coming out and announcing to everyone that tonight’s advertisied World Heavyweight Title main event will not take place because Daniel Bryan is injured and is unable to wrestle. Sheamus comes out and is very unhappy about this. He has been looking forward to his first title defense ever since he recaptured the title at Summer Slam and now once again Steph won’t let him have it. He says he wants to defend his title against someone, and he doesn’t care who it is. Paul Heyman & Dolph Ziggler come out and say that Dolph wants the match. Steph says they can face off in tonight’s main event… but it has to be non-title because Daniel Bryan earned the first title shot against Sheamus and it would be unfair to Bryan to give it to anyone else.
Steph also announces that, to make it up to the fans, tonight she has just finalized the following match, which was big enough that she was planning on announcing it as the main event, but due to this Sheamus vs. Ziggler match (and in fairness to Sheamus, as he was promised the main event tonight), so instead, this main event-quality match will open tonight’s show…

SIX WAY MATCH: Antonio Cesaro vs. John Cena vs. Roman Reigns vs. Kalisto vs. Michael McGillicutty vs. Jack Swagger (w/Team Anger)-
The announcers all mark out over how crazy it is to have a match including John Cena as well as the WWE and IC Champions, plus all of this other great talent in a free-for-all opener!
The match requires tags in and out. The important part of the match is that whenever Cena tags in, he makes it clear that he wants Cesaro, leading to them tangling up a few times with no clear winner either time (they end up in an indy standoff, and then someone else will tag themselves in). The announcers drive home the point that Cena keeps calling out Cesaro because he wants to earn a WWE Title match by defeating Cesaro (having failed to earn a World Heavyweight Title match on Raw- but coming very close. The announcers also push the idea that it was Cena’s STFU that did a lot of damage to Daniel Bryan’s neck and led to the injury that is preventing him from challenging Sheamus tonight, and speculate that if that was anyone other than a guy full of toughness and heart like Daniel Bryan in there, they certainly would have tapped out and Cena would have earned that title shot). Cena manages to lock Cesaro in the STFU once or twice but the hold is always broken up. The match goes about fifteen minutes with Cena pinning McGillicutty after an AA.

Sylvester Lefort cuts a backstage promo where he claims that Roman Reigns and Mark Henry colluded together to fix the finish of their match on Raw so that Roman could take the lead in the Champions Beat The Clock Challenge, and in exchange, Roman will pick Mark’s protégé Big E. Langston to challenge him for the IC Title at Night of Champions like he said he would in his promo last week on Smackdown. Lefort alleges that they are doing this because Roman is afraid of Alexander Rusev, who should be the rightful #1 contender.

CHAMPIONS BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE MATCH: The Usos vs. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose-
Seth and Dean seem to have put their differences aside and are managing to not only work together, but it actually looks like they might beat the tag champs. Things break down into a 2-on-2 inside the ring, but Seth and Dean get the best of it, tossing one Uso out of the ring while laying out the legal Uso with a double-team move. Seth goes hits the ropes but Dean- assuming Seth was heading back to their corner- went to pick the Usos up to hit Dirty Deeds… but really Seth was hitting the ropes to go for the Curb Stomp. Seth and Dean bump into each other, then start arguing and shoving each other… and then the bell rings as the time has expired (Roman Reigns’ 9:00 remains the time to beat).
Seth and Dean are angry at each other. Steph comes out and announces that because everyone loved this match so much we will see a rematch with no time limit as the featured match on tomorrow night’s Superstars!
Bray Wyatt cuts a backstage promo talking about how “when you trust in Bray Wyatt, all things are possible.” He says that his Family’s wins on Raw were just the beginning. Now he is challenging WWE Champion Antonio Cesaro to a match on Raw!

EMMA vs. SUMMER RAE (w/Tamina)-
Ashley Flair is watching the match at ringside. Summer gets a quick win in just two minutes when Tamina distracts Emma, allowing Summer to roll her up for the pin.

Cesaro cuts a backstage promo saying he isn’t afraid of the Wyatts so he will gladly accept Bray’s challenge!

THREE-WAY TAG TEAM MATCH: Mark Henry & Big E. Langston vs. the Prime Time Players vs. The Brain Trust (w/Naomi)-
Brain Trust wins in seven minutes when Sandow rolls up Titus O’Neil and uses the ropes for extra leverage (I figure people might boo Titus getting pinned in his home state, so I figured I’d point those boos in a productive direction).
On commentary, the announcers discuss Lefort’s allegations towards Roman Reigns, Mark Henry, & Big E. All of them- even heel JBL, believe the allegation of collusion is completely unfounded (though JBL does say that he thinks Alexander Rusev deserves a shot at some title).

We get an in-ring segment with Byron Saxton interviewing The Miz. Byron asks Miz why he ran away from Big Show on Main Event. Miz doesn’t have a good answer. Byron alleges that Miz afraid of the Big Show. Miz gets very angry and threatens Byron. Miz says he isn’t afraid of anyone. He’s the most dangerous man in the WWE! He’s the guy who put Hart Dungeon graduate Tyson Kidd on the shelf with the Harts’ own move! Miz threatens to lock Byron in the Sharpshooter, but Big Show comes out and Miz runs away.

FOUR CORNERS TAG TEAM MATCH: International Airstrike 2.0 vs. Big Show & Kofi Kingston vs. The Colons (w/Rosa Mendes) vs. The Wyatt Family (Harper & Rowan) (w/Bray Wyatt & Ryback)-
Airstrike win clean in ten action-packed minutes, pinning Kofi when Gabriel hits him with a 450. The announcers put over Bray’s challenge to Cesaro from earlier tonight as well as debate whether Miz is afraid of Big Show or if his retreats have been strategic.

We get an in-ring segment where Renee Young is interviewing Ashley Flair. First she announces that Ashley will have her Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge match this coming Monday on Raw. She asks Ashley if her observations of matches during this week have brought her any closer to deciding who she might pick as her challenger if she wins the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge. Ashley says she hasn’t come to a final decision yet, but one thing is for sure: She sure as hell won’t pick Paige because Paige doesn’t deserve another shot at her title.
Steph comes out and tells Ashley not to get ahead of herself. She has to win the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge first before she can make declarations like that, and her opponent on Monday will be woman we have standing by live via satellite right now:
PAIGE show up on the TitanTron and cuts a promo saying that Ashley might not want to give her a title shot, but she won’t have a choice because on Monday she will beat Ashley within the time limit and earn herself a championship match!
Ashley looks scared, but quickly puts on a brave face and says we’ll see what happens on Monday.

KEVIN OWENS & SAMI ZAYN vs. TEAM ANGER (Kane & R-Truth) (w/Jack Swagger)-
Zayn & Owens win clean in eleven minutes when Zayn rolls Truth up for the pin.

SHEAMUS vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Paul Heyman)-
They go for about twenty minutes before brawling to a double-count-out on the outside. When Sheamus he’ll the announcement, he gets frustrated and nails the recovering Dolph with a Brogue Kick.

On Friday morning WWE.com publishes statements from both Roman Reigns, Mark Henry, and Big E. Langston completely denying the allegations of match-fixing against them.

Superstars: (9/4/2015)

Tonight’s featured match is a rematch from last night’s Smackdown pitting WWE World Tag Team Champions The Usos against Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose. Our promos and video packages contrast the united front of the Usos- brothers who tried to go out on their own as singles wrestlers before decided that wasn’t working and rededicating themselves to tag team wrestling- to the friendship of Rollins and Ambrose, which has gone through a lot of very rocky times, especially recently.

SETH ROLLINS & DEAN AMRBOSE vs. THE USOS-
Usos win in twenty-five minutes when a miscue between Seth and Dean leads to them arguing and Dean getting rolled up for the pin.

WWE.com releases injury updates on both Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler. Both will be out for at least another week. Bryan has a neck injury while Dolph suffered a possible concussion from Sheamus’ post-match Brogue Kick. In other concussion-related news, Cody Rhodes is also still out from the concussion he suffered from a Brogue Kick to the back of the head at Summer Slam and there is currently no timetable for his return.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond

Post by Big Red Machine » Apr 21st, '16, 10:59

Advertised for tonight’s Labor Day edition of Raw is WWE Champion Antonio Cesaro vs. Bray Wyatt in a non-title match, US Champion The Miz vs. Big Show in another non-title match, WWE Divas Champion Ashley Flair has her Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge match against Paige, and WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley has a major announcement to make regarding the WWE World Tag Team Title match at Night of Champions!

Raw: (9/7/2015)- Baltimore, MD

Raw opens with US Champion The Miz in the ring. He is insisting that because today is Labor Day and he is the US Champion, it is ridiculous to expect him to wrestle today. Miz continues to rant. He says that he completely 100% believes Lefort’s allegations of collusion towards Roman, Mark, and Big E., and claims that Roman’s wins should be considered null and void and because the Usos didn’t beat his time when they defeated Rollins & Ambrose on Smackdown, his time should be reinstated as the time to beat in the Champions Beat The Clock Challenge.
Steph comes out and angrily tells Miz that he of all people is not someone who should be throwing around allegations of collusion and match-fixing, considering his actions this spring and summer. She tells Miz he is still in deep trouble with management over that, so he had better shut up and face Big Show tonight like a real champion would or she’ll strip him of his title! Miz grumbles, but not wanting to be stripped of his title he accepts Steph’s judgment, and heads to the back (grumbling all the way).
Steph the moves on to the next item on her agenda: the big announcement about the tag title match at Night of Champions. Steph announces that the challengers will be determined by a gauntlet match tomorrow night on Main Event featuring every team in the division… or rather, almost every team. Both Team Anger’s Kane & R-Truth and Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose have lost cleanly to the champions in the past week, and thus those two teams will face off in a qualifying match tonight to determine which one of them will qualify for the gauntlet and which one of them will watch the match from home.
Steph quickly runs down the matches that have been announced for tonight’s card, then announces a previously unannounced opener…

THE USOS & KALISTO vs. THE WYATT FAMILY (w/Bray Wyatt)-
Standard story of small & fast vs. big & strong. Wyatts win clean in twelve minutes when Ryback pins Kalisto after a Shell Shock. After the match, Bray cuts a promo saying that this victory is just a small example of what you can do when you believe in Bray Wyatt… and later tonight he will give an even greater demonstration when he defeats WWE Champion Antonio Cesaro!

ROMAN REIGNS vs. BO DALLAS-
Roman pretty much squashes Bo, pinning him after a Spear in three minutes. After the match Roman grabs a mic and cuts a promo calling Sylvester Lefort’s accusations against him and Mark Henry “complete and total crap.” Roman says that he doesn’t cheat or fix matches, and he also sure as hell doesn’t duck anyone. If Lefort wants Rusev to have an IC Title shot so badly, all he has to do is come out and get one. Lefort shows up on the ramp and accuses Roman of cowardice, saying that Roman is only offering Rusev this title shot now because he knows that the League of Nations is currently focused on training for the tag team #1 contendership gauntlet.

NIKKI BELLA vs. EMMA-
Nikki wins clean in fourteen minutes, but the announcers put over how great of a fight Emma put up. To emphasize with, we give Emma several big nearfalls and have her kick out of the Rack Attack and the Spear before eventually being put down by a second Rack Attack.

Sheamus comes out and cuts a promo apologizing for Brogue Kicking Dolph Ziggler after their double count-out on Smackdown. He says he was frustrated that he wasn’t being allowed to defend his World Heavyweight Title like he wanted to and he took out on Dolph and attacking someone after the match because you are unhappy with the result is wrong.
Heyman comes out and says that if he wanted to make it up to Dolph, he’d give Dolph a title match when he returns. Sheamus is happy to do so but Steph comes out and vetoes it, saying that as a result of winning last week’s Raw main event, Daniel Bryan will be getting the first shot at Sheamus’ title when he is healthy (assuming it doesn’t cause an issue with the Thirty Days Rule). She says they hope to have an update on his condition on Smackdown.

We get a replay of the finishes to the two Rollins & Ambrose vs. Usos matches from last week. We then go backstage to where Renee Young is interviewing Dean Ambrose. She asks him if he thinks he and Rollins will be able to overcome their recent problems tonight. Before Dean can answer, Seth Rollins shows up. He and Dean exchange a look. Seth asks “you good?” and Dean responds “are you good?” Seth nods his head and says “okay then. Let’s go do this,” and Seth and Dean head to Gorilla position together.
WINNER QUALIFIES FOR TOMORROW NIGHT’S #1 CONTENDERSHIP TAG TEAM GAUNTLET: Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs. Team Anger (Kane & R-Truth) (w/Jack Swagger)-
Seth and Dean work together well and pick up the victory in thirteen minutes when Dean makes Truth tap out to the Regal Stretch.

Mark Henry cuts a backstage promo responding to Lefort’s allegations of collusion against him and Roman Reigns. Mark vehemently denies the charges and says that they are an assault on his character, and Lefort had better be ready to pay for this malicious slander.

BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE MATCH: Ashley Flair vs. Paige-
Paige takes it to Ashley from the very beginning, trying to embarrass the champ by beating her within the time limit to earn the title shot she feels she deserves because Ashley has not yet managed to pin her cleanly. Ashley gets more and more nervous as time goes on. The finish comes when Ashley first causes a ref bump, then pulls the Eddie Guerrero fake chair-shot trick for the DQ with just ten seconds left in the time limit to win the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge and earn the right to handpick her challenger at Night of Champions. Ashley hightails it out of there after the match with Paige in hot pursuit with the steel chair. Ashley manages to get to her car and get away, leaving Paige screaming and smashing the chair against the parking garage wall.

ZACK RYDER & MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY vs. THE BRAIN TRUST (w/Naomi)-
Brain Trust win clean in nine minutes when Otuna pins Ryder.

JOHN CENA vs. JACK SWAGGER (w/Team Anger)-
Cena wins clean in twenty minutes with the AA.

Cesaro cuts a backstage promo saying he will beat Bray Wyatt in tonight’s main event.

THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana) vs. TWO JOBBERS-
The League squashes the jobbers while Lefort puts over how unstoppable they will be in tomorrow’s #1 contendership gauntlet.

THE MIZ vs. BIG SHOW (w/Kofi Kingston)-
Before the match, Miz demands that Kofi leave ringside so that Kofi won’t be able to distract him. Being a babyface, Kofi obliges. Big Show dominates the match so Miz rolls to the floor to try to reset the pace, but Big Show follows him out. Miz tries to crawl away under the ring but Big Show grabs his leg and pulls him out, but Miz conks Big Show with a wrench which he quickly discards before the referee sees it. Miz rolls back into the ring while the unconscious Big Show is counted out on the floor (and the camera catches a view of the wrench lying there on the floor by the ring skirt.

ANTONIO CESARO vs. BRAY WYATT (w/the Wyatt Family)-
The three non-wrestling Wyatts all stay on different sides of the ring. Early on, we get a spot where Bray tosses Cesaro out, and while Bray distracts the ref, the other Wyatts beat on Cesaro. This lays the groundwork for the story of the match, which is that Cesaro does his best to keep things inside the ring while Bray’s strategy is to toss Cesaro to the outside so that while Bray or one of the other Wyatts distracts the ref, the others can beat on Cesaro on the outside. The announcers put over that this was all Bray’s plan. This takes a major toll on Cesaro who eventually winds up losing by count-out when he is just too hurt to make it back to the ring.

Main Event: (9/8/2015)
TAG TEAM GAUNTLET FOR TAG TEAM TITLE SHOT AT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS: Rollins & Ambrose vs. Colons vs. International Airstrike 2.0 vs. Brain Trust vs. Harper & Rowan vs. Zayn & Owens vs. Kofi & Big Show vs. PTP vs. Mark Henry & Big E. vs. Barrett & Rusev-
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Airstrike win clean in eight minutes when Gabriel pins Primo after both guys hit him with their high-flying finishers.

INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. THE WYATT FAMILY (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper) (w/Bray Wyatt & Ryback)-
The Wyatts take it to Airstrike right from the get-go, dominating them with power moves. Airstrike are able to mount a short comeback, but the Wyatts beat them in five minutes when Rowan pins Neville after hitting The Way. We cut to a shot of Bray and Ryback looking very confident on the outside. “Bray takes this opportunity to shout “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU BELIEVE IN BRAY WYATT! WE WILL NOT FAIL!”

THE WYATT FAMILY (w/Bray Wyatt & Ryback) vs. THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (Wade Barrett & Alexander Rusev) (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)-
Barrett starts off against Rowan and they have about two or three sequences where they go back and forth with big strikes before Wade starts to take over, peppering Rowan with more and more shots until he hits the Barrett Barrage, knocking Rowan out cold. Wade goes for the cover and Rusev prevents Harper from breaking it up. The League of Nations has eliminated the Wyatt Family in just over one minute. We cut once again to Bray and Ryback, who are completely shocked.
When we come back from our first commercial break we are already in the middle of…

THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana) vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS-
The League is working over Darren Young’s back. They keep working on it for a few minutes before Rusev locks in the Accolade. Titus runs in to try to break it up but he is cut off by a vicious forearm from Barrett. Darren Young succumbs to the pain and taps out to the Accolade.

THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana) vs. KOFI KINGSTON & BIG SHOW-
They have a shortened version of your standard tag team match. Kofi is the babyface in peril, once again getting his back worked over by the League of Nations. Kofi eventually manages to make the hot tag and Big Show runs wild on the League until Sylvester Lefort grabs his foot, causing a distraction which allows Barrett to start nailing Big Show with hard strikes, eventually ending in a Barrett Barrage for the pin.
We now go to head to our second commercial break, but we head into it with the knowledge that business is about to pick up because the next team to enter the gauntlet is the mentor/protégé pairing of Mark Henry & Big E. Langston… and is still furious about Lefort’s allegations that he and Roman Reigns colluded to fix the Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge so that Big E. could get an IC Title shot.

THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana) vs. MARK HENRY & BIG E. LANGSTON-
Big E. and the heels trade power moves and suplexes. Mark Henry tags in and starts to dominate the match for the babyfaces. Lefort is constantly shouting that Mark is a cheater, annoying Mark to no end. Mark goes to the outside to try to get Lefort but Lefort runs away so Mark gets back into the ring to continue the match.
Mark continues dominating the heels for a while until Lana jumps up on the apron to distract the ref while Lefort, who has snuck back down to ringside, grabs Mark’s leg, tripping him up a bit. Lefort turn to brag to the crowd, but of course Mark turns around, reaches over the ropes, and grabs the Frenchman by the hair. Mark pulls Lefort up onto the apron, then picks him up in a military press but Wade Barrett takes advantage of the situation and lands the Barrett Barrage to the back of Mark’s head. Mark crumples (Lefort lands safely on the apron). Rusev runs across the ring and knocks Big E. down, then he and Wade drag Mark to the center of the ring. Wade makes the cover and Lana stops distracting the ref, who comes over and counts the pin while the announcers lament that Lefort has once again caused a distraction to give his team the win.

THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana) vs. KEVIN OWENS & SAMI ZAYN-
Wade and Zayn square off to start things up and they go for about a minute before Lefort manages to once again snag a babyface’s foot to trip him up… but this time the referee saw it and the League of Nations is DQed!

KEVIN OWENS & SAMI ZAYN vs. SETH ROLLINS & DEAN AMBROSE-
By the time this match starts there are about twenty-five minutes left in the show. This match goes a good eighteen of them, with lots of fast-paced action between the two completely fresh teams of best friends. The finish comes when Rollins rolls Zayn up with an O’Connor Roll and bridges back to get more leverage on it but in doing so he unwittingly puts his own shoulders on the mat as well and the referee declares a double-pin… and then orders that the match will be restarted!
They go for about fifty seconds after the restart when the final remaining team, the Brain Trust, run out and assault both teams. We go off the air with much confusion while Sandow and Otunga beat the crap out of Zayn, Owens Rollins, and Ambrose as security runs out to try to pull them off.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond

Post by Big Red Machine » May 4th, '16, 00:00

WWE.com announces that this week’s Smackdown will see quite a few big matches. The main event will feature John Cena taking on Big Show. The other big singles match will see US Champion The Miz will face Justin Gabriel in a non-title match. Gabriel’s regular tag team partner Adrian Neville will also be in action when he creates a high-flying dream team with Kofi Kingston and Kalisto to take on Team Anger.
Another very interesting match signed for Smackdown is a Fatal Four-Way pitting Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns against Big E. Langston against Michael McGillicutty against World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. And speaking of Sheamus, he- along with the rest of the WWE Universe- will receive a big update about the health of Sheamus’ #1 contender Daniel Bryan from WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley tonight on Smackdown.

Smackdown: (9/10/2015)- Wilkes-Barre, PA
The show opens with Steph in the ring. She announces that WWE doctors are certain that Daniel Bryan will be ready to return to action by Night of Champions, so he will be receiving his shot at the World Heavyweight Title on that show.
The Brain Trust come out and Otunga asks Steph is she got the documents he had sent to her office, explaining that according to the rules of a gauntlet match, a team that is pinned is eliminated, and therefore when Zayn and Rollins pinned each other, both teams should have been eliminated from the match and the only remaining team in the gauntlet, Brain Trust, should have been declared the winners. They said they attacked Zayn, Owens, Rollins, and Ambrose after the match was restarted because they knew that just like Owens, Zayn, Rollins, Ambrose, and the referee, the fans were far too stupid to realize this and they didn’t want the fans to become confused if one of those teams won the match and then by some fluke were able to defeat the Brain Trust as well but when it came time for Smackdown, that team was not announced as the #1 contenders. Steph says she hasn’t had a chance to look his documents over yet, but she will do so tonight.
Owens, Zayn, Ambrose, and Rollins all charge out to brawl with Brain Trust but we soon get a spot where Ambrose tries to clothesline Sandow but Sandow avoids it and it hits Zayn instead, which leads to Owens and Ambrose brawling as well. Security pours out to break it up while Steph announces that we will have a three-way tag team match later tonight.

Bray Wyatt cuts a backstage promo saying that no one believed he could possibly beat the mighty WWE Champion Antonio Cesaro on Raw. No one but him and his Family. But he did beat Cesaro on Raw, just like he and his Family knew he would… because they know that when you believe in Bray Wyatt, all things are possible. Now that he has beaten the champion it should come as no surprise that he wants a title shot… and it should come as no surprise when he wins the title, either, because as he just told everyone: when you believe in Bray Wyatt, all things are possible.

TEAM ANGER vs. ADRIAN NEVILLE, KALISTO, & KOFI KINGSTON (w/Big Show)-
The announcers explain to us that Justin Gabriel is not at ringside with Neville because he is preparing for his match against The Miz, which is up next. They also plug tonight’s Cena vs. Big Show main event.
The match goes for about eight minutes until it breaks down into a brawl in the ring. During this brawl, Kofi tries to hit Truth with Trouble in Paradise but Truth ducks and the move accidentally hits Kalisto. Things immediately get worse as Neville comes off the ropes with a springboard dropkick aimed at Swagger but Swaggers gets out of the way and Neville’s big dropkick nails Kofi, sending him rolling out to the floor. Kane picks up Neville and dumps him over the top rope onto Kofi and Truth pins the still-down Kalisto to pick up the win for Team Anger.

Renee Young interviews WWE World Tag Team Champions the Usos. She asks them for their thoughts on the controversy surrounding the ending of #1 Contendership Gauntlet on this week’s WWE Main Event. The Usos say that it doesn’t matter who they defend their titles against. They are going to give it their all and they are going to win.

THE MIZ vs. JUSTIN GABRIEL (w/Adrian Neville)-
Gabriel control most of the match. The finish sees Gabriel hit a big dive to the outside. Gabriel makes it back to the ring in time. Miz crawls towards the ring and gets close, but when the referee’s count hits eight he just kind of collapses and gets counted out. Miz gets up, doing much better than he was just a few moments ago, causing the announcers to debate whether or not Miz really collapsed or whether he pretended to collapse so he could get counted out and not have to face any more punishment.

PAIGE vs. EMMA-
Emma puts up a good fight, but Paige wins clean in twelve minutes, making Emma tap out to the Stretch Muffler. After the match Ashley Flair comes out and teases picking Paige as her challenger at Night of Champions, but instead she picks Emma. Cole points out to us viewers at home that Emma is on a losing streak and this is clearly just Ashley doing whatever she can to dodge Paige.

We cut to Steph in her office, where she announces that after reviewing the documents David Otunga sent to her, she agrees with his analysis of the rules and the Brain Trust will indeed be the #1 contenders for the tag titles at Night of Champions.
She also announces that she is very unhappy with Miz’s actions tonight. She told him on Raw that she wanted to see him start acting like a real champion to make up for his almost-certain-but-unable-to-be-proven involvement in the Wesley Blake match-fixing scandal or else she would strip him of the US Title. While once again she cannot definitively prove that Miz allowed himself to get counted out intentionally tonight, the evidence strongly suggests this. She says that she won’t strip the title from Miz without hard evidence… but what she will do is award Justin Gabriel a US Title match at Night of Champions, and in this match, the title WILL be able to change hands on a count-out or a DQ.

After this we go to a commercial, and when we come back we see Seth Rollins laid out backstage with doctors and Dean Ambrose attending to him. We have no idea who did it. Cole speculates that it was the Brain Trust, but JBL points out that it could just as easily have been Zayn & Owens.

FATAL FOUR-WAY: Big E. Langston vs. Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns vs. Michael McGillicutty-
We are told that Mark Henry isn’t at ringside with Big E. because he is getting ready for his own match, which is up next. They all brawl for a few minutes before Roman and Big E. decide to form an alliance. Sylvester Lefort comes out to the commentary table to tell everyone that this is just more evidence that his accusation that Roman and Mark Henry colluded to fix their Champions’ Beat The Clock Challenge match so that Roman would pick Big E. as his challenger are true. He also repeats his claim that Roman is dodging Rusev because he knows he can’t beat him. Big E. wins in fourteen minutes, pinning McGillicutty after the Big Ending. The announcers put this over as a big win for Big E. as he has won a match against both the IC and World Heavyweight champions.

After this match, Cole tells us that he is getting word that something has happened backstage. Sami Zayn has also been attacked! Cole says this proves that Brain Trust were behind the earlier attack on Rollins. JBL says he thinks this was Ambrose getting revenge on Zayn and Owens for taking out Rollins earlier.

MARK HENRY vs. BO DALLAS-
Henry squashes Bo in fifty seconds. After the match, Wade Barrett comes out onto the stage and brags about all of the people he knocked out in the Tag Team #1 Contendership Gauntlet on Main Event, including Mark Henry. Mark responds by saying that the only reason Wade knocked him out was because he allowed himself to get distracted by that lying scumbag Sylvester Lefort. Mark tells Wade to give Lefort a message: the next time Mark gets his hands on him, there is nothing in the world that will make him let go.

An angry Miz cuts a backstage promo saying it’s BS that he gets counted out and everyone is calling him a coward and Steph is making him defend his title because of it, but when Cesaro gets counted out everyone just talks about how valiantly he fought and they’re not making him defend his title at all, even when the guy who beat him is asking for one.
Just as Miz is wrapping up his rant, Cesaro walks by and says he is actually on his way to the ring right now to answer Bray’s challenge…

Cesaro comes out to the ring and says that he just spoke to Steph and she said that if Bray Wyatt wants a shot at the WWE Title, he’s got one tomorrow night on Superstars! Bray comes out alone and cuts a promo talking about how he will win the title. The other Wyatts come out from the crowd and jump Cesaro from behind and beat him up while Bray watches and talks more. The beatdown ends when Bray lays Cesaro out with the Monster Tamer.

After a commercial break, we go to Steph in her office. She announces that we will have a slight change in tonight’s card. Due to the attacks on Rollins and Zayn, the originally scheduled Brain Trust vs. Owens & Zayn vs. Rollins & Ambrose match will not take place. Instead, that match has been changed to Brain Trust vs. Owens & Ambrose. In the interests of fairness, in order to give Ambrose and Owens some time to work on a game-plan, she has decided that that match will now be tonight’s main event while the previously-scheduled John Cena vs. Big Show match will take place right now!

JOHN CENA vs. BIG SHOW (w/Kofi Kingston)-
Cena wins clean with the AA in fifteen minutes.

KEVIN OWENS & DEAN AMBROSE VS. BRAIN TRUST (w/Naomi)-
Owens and Ambrose work together well in the beginning, but they inevitably have a miscue that leads to the heat. Brain Trust get the heat on Ambrose, but he manages to make the hot tag to Owens. The babyfaces start to take over the match once again, but it all falls apart when Owens accidentally nails Ambrose with a superkick which allows Brain Trust to double-team Owens and pin him with their finisher in fifteen minutes.

WWE.com announces that Big E. Langston has been awarded the IC Title shot at Night of Champions.
WWE.com also posts a video sent in by Dolph Ziggler where he declares himself to be “the greatest Paul Heyman Guy of all time.”

Superstars: (9/11/2015)

This week’s featured match is Antonio Cesaro defending the WWE Title against Bray Wyatt. The video packages and interviews center around Bray’s plans, which have worked perfectly to get him this title shot. Bray often repeats his “when you believe in Bray Wyatt, anything is possible” line while laughing.

WWE TITLE MATCH: Antonio Cesaro(c) vs. Bray Wyatt (w/the Wyatt Family)-
The Wyatts use tactics similar to those they used on Raw, with one of them distracting the ref while the others illegally attack Cesaro. Cesaro, for his part, tries to stay in the center of the ring where the Wyatts can’t get at him. The numbers game eventually catches up to Cesaro but John Cena comes out swinging a steel chair to fight off the Wyatts. Cesaro eventually beats Bray clean in the middle of the ring with the Gotch-style Neutralizer. After the match, Cena and Cesaro shake hands and Cesaro thanks Cena for evening the odds for him.

WWE.com releases an injury report which lets us know that Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Dolph Ziggler have all been cleared to return to action. Cody Rhodes is still out with a concussion sustained from a Brogue Kick to the back of the head by Sheamus during their match at Summer Slam, but another top WWE star will also be ready to return to the ring very soon.

Raw will feature a number of important events, the first among which will be the announcement of the #1 contender for the WWE Title at Night of Champions. Raw will also see World Heavyweight Title #1 contender Daniel Bryan make his first appearance on WWE TV since his injury two weeks ago, US Champion The Miz hosting his Night of Champions challenger Justin Gabriel on MizTV, the return of Dolph Ziggler from his injury, the contract signing for the WWE World Tag Team Title match at Night of Champions, Alexander Rusev vs. Big E., Seth Rollins vs. Adrian Neville, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. Jack Swagger, and much more!

Raw: (9/14/2015)- Memphis, TN

Raw opens with Steph and Cesaro in the ring. Steph says she has a big announcement, which is that Cesaro will defend the WWE Title at Night of Champions against a man who has been on a winning streak for the past two weeks… John Cena!
Cena comes out and he and Cesaro exchange some nice words with Cesaro thanking Cena for helping him out against the Wyatt Family on Superstars. Steph also announces that they will team up in tonight’s main event to take on Bray Wyatt and Ryback.

SETH ROLLINS (w/Dean Ambrose) vs. ADRIAN NEVILLE (w/Justin Gabriel)-
JBL has invited Kalisto to do guest commentary for this match. JBL spends the whole match trying to get Kalisto to blame Neville and Kofi for their loss to Team Anger on Smackdown. By the end of the match Kalisto does concede to JBL and puts some of the blame for the loss on his partners. Rollins wins clean in twenty minutes.

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: Primo Colon (w/Epico Colon & Rosa Mendes) vs. Kevin Owens (w/Sami Zayn) vs. Dean Ambrose (w/Seth Rollins)-
The finish comes when Epico is on the top rope and is about to hit a high-flying move on the downed Ambrose but Kevin Owens comes up behind him and shoves him off the top rope down into the ring. Owens goes to make the cover but Ambrose cuts him off with a huge clothesline, then steals the pin. After the match Owens grabs a mic and cuts an angry promo saying he is getting really tired of Dean Ambrose getting in his way. Ambrose responds that it was Steen who kicked him Smackdown to cost them their match. They shout at each other while Rollins and Zayn try to keep them apart. Steph comes out and says that although Brain Trust’s interpretation of the rules of the #1 contendership gauntlet match were correct, in a regular match, a double-pin would lead to a restart, so she thinks they are the top two teams in contention for a title shot after Night of Champions, so they will face off in a #1 contendership match at Night of Champions!

Renee Young interviews Ashley Flair about her choosing Emma to be her challenger at Night of Champions despite Emma having lost all of her matches recently. Ashley mockingly says that she picked Emma because she thinks Emma will be really tough competition.

BO DALLAS vs. KALISTO-
On his way to the ring, Bo cuts an in-set promo saying that he hasn’t had much luck against larger JBL has invited Kofi Kingston to join him on commentary. Like with Kalisto earlier, JBL stirs the pot, getting Kofi to place some of the blame for their loss on Smackdown on Kalisto and Neville. Kalisto wins clean in seven minutes with the Salida Del Sol.

Paul Heyman & Dolph Ziggler come out. Dolph repeats his promo from WWE.com claiming to be the “greatest Paul Heyman Guy of all time). Heyman tells Dolph that there is another Paul Heyman Guy who saw his promo on WWE.com over the weekend and strongly disagrees with that assertion, so Heyman talked to Steph and they managed to put the match together for Night of Champions. Dolph wants to know who his opponent will be, but Heyman says that if he is truly the greatest Paul Heyman Guy of all time, he’ll should be able to prepare for all possibilities.
(The obvious implication is that the opponent in question will be Brock Lesnar but that is never outright stated).

WADE BARRETT (w/Sylvester Lefort) vs. TITUS O’NEIL (w/Darren Young)-
Wade wins clean with the Barrett Barrage in six minutes. After the match, Lefort cuts a promo bragging that Wade Barrett can knock out anyone with no trouble at all. Mark Henry comes out and says that if Lefort is really so confident in Wade abilities to knock anyone out, then he’ll accept the following challenge for Night of Champions: Wade Barrett vs. Mark Henry… and if Mark wins, he gets five minutes alone in a steel cage with Sylvester Lefort! Lefort is clearly nervous about this but knows that he has to accept the challenge or else he and his client will lose face, so he accepts!

PAIGE vs. CAMERON-
Paige squashes Cameron and makes her tap to the Stretch Muffler in two minutes. The announcers push the idea that Paige is being very aggressive because she is frustrated that Ashley is ducking her.

Next is the contract signing for the WWE World Tag Team Title match at Night of Champions. Everything goes perfectly normally and the contract is signed, but then Sandow and Otunga say they want to cut a promo and they do. They then offer the Usos the chance to cut a promo as well (in the interests of fairness) and the Usos start to cut a promo. Meanwhile, Naomi has quietly slipped under the ring, comes out behind the Usos slides into the ring behind them and clips Jey’s knee. Jey goes down and the Brain Trust cut a promo about how they will win because they are smarter than the Usos. Jey needs to be helped to the back.

MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY vs. KOFI KINGSTON (w/Big Show)-
JBL has invited Neville to do commentary and like with Kofi and Kalisto, JBL tries to get him to blame his team’s loss on Smackdown on Kofi and Kalisto and eventually Neville gives in and does so. Kofi wins clean in nine minutes.
After the match Kalisto comes out and says that he heard what the other two said about him on commentary earlier tonight. They all start arguing with each other so Steph comes out and books them in a triple threat match at Night of Champions.

Emma cuts a backstage promo about her upcoming title shot at Night of Champions basically saying “I know I haven’t done anything to really deserve this title shot, but I am going to do everything I can to make this opportunity count.”

MIZ TV WITH GUEST JUSTIN GABRIEL-
It’s really just an ambush, as Miz quickly sucker-punches Gabriel and lays him out with the Skull-Crushing Finale. Miz grabs a mic and cuts a promo declaring himself to be the greatest US Champion of all-time and the man who put Hart Dungeon graduate Tyson Kidd on the shelf with the Hart Family’s own move, so there is no way in hell that a chump like Justin Gabriel will be able to take his title from him.

SHEAMUS vs. JACK SWAGGER (w/Team Anger)-
Daniel Bryan makes his first appearance on Raw since his injury two weeks ago to do commentary for this match. He puts Sheamus over and says he will beat Sheamus and win the World Heavyweight Title at Night of Champions. Sheamus wins clean in ten minutes with the Brogue Kick. He and Bryan have a stare-down afterwards.

BIG E. LANGSTON (w/Mark Henry) vs. ALEXANDER RUSEV (w/the League of Nations)-
Lefort refuses to allow Rusev to wrestle the match unless Roman Reigns gives Rusev the title shot he deserves. Roman comes out and says he is fine giving Rusev a title shot whenever he wants it. Steph comes out and turns Roman vs. Big E. match at Night of Champions into a Triple Threat match.
The match itself only goes a few minutes until Barrett and Lefort get some chairs and attack the babyfaces for the DQ. Roman tries to make the save but he gets beaten down, too.

Michael Cole makes two big announcements. The first is that Daniel Bryan and Sheamus will have a contract signing on Smackdown. The second is that at Night of Champions, Big Show will face the returning Randy Orton.

JOHN CENA & ANTONIO CESARO vs. THE WYATT FAMILY (Bray Wyatt & Ryback) (w/Luke Harper & Erick Rowan)-
Cena & Cesaro win clean in twenty minutes when Cena pins Ryback. They have a stare-down after the match.

WWE.com reports that Justin Gabriel, Big E. Langston, Mark Henry, Roman Reigns, and Jey Uso will be out of action for the rest of the week to recover from injuries sustained in heinous sneak attacks on last night’s Raw. All of them are expected to be back in time for Sunday’s Night of Champions PPV.

Dolph Ziggler has asked for and been granted time off to prepare for his match against a mystery opponent at Night of Champions. All that is known about Dolph’s opponent is that he is a fellow Paul Heyman Guy.

On Tuesday, WWE.com builds up tonight’s episode of WWE Main Event:
After their shockingly quick loss to the League of Nations in last week’s Tag Team #1 Contendership Gauntlet, the Wyatt Family have asked for another shot at the team that defeated them: The League of Nations. That match takes place tonight on Main Event!
Speaking of the Tag Team #1 Contendership Gauntlet, the winners of that match, the Brain Trust, will be in action on Main Event as well when they take on The Colons!
US Champion The Miz will also be in action, facing Darren Young, while #1 Contender to the Divas Championship, Emma, will take on the returning Natalya Neidhart!

Main Event: (9/15/2015)

BRAIN TRUST (w/Naomi) vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Brain Trust win clean in eight minutes.
THE MIZ vs. DARREN YOUNG (w/Titus O’Neill)-
Miz wins clean with the Skull-Crushing Finale in nine minutes.

THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana) vs. THE WYATT FAMILY (Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) (w/Bray Wyatt & Ryback)-
Just like in last week’s #1 contendership gauntlet the League of Nations defeats the Wyatts with surprising speed as Barrett knocks Rowan out with the Barrett Barrage in just five minutes. Once again, a camera is in place to show us the shocked reaction on the face of Ryback and the concerned reaction on the face of Bray Wyatt.
After the match Sylvester Lefort cuts a promo putting over the League’s dominance and saying that he isn’t afraid of the possibility of being stuck in a cage with Mark Henry because he knows it will never get that far because Wade will knock Mark out.

NATALYA NEIDHART vs. EMMA-
The announcers give us a recap of the whole Miz/Nattie thing and the Miz vs. Kidd match at Summer Slam. They explain to us that Nattie has been at home caring for her injured husband which is why she hasn’t been on TV much recently.
Emma wins a hard-fought match clean in seventeen minutes with the Emma-Lock. Nattie shows her respect after the match by raising her hand.

Smackdown: (9/17/2015)- Little Rock, AK

TEAM ANGER vs. THE WYATT FAMILY (w/Bray Wyatt)-
Kane pins Ryback after a chokeslam. The announcers note that things have not been going the Wyatt Family’s way for the past week and a half or so.

THE MIZ vs. EPICO COLON (w/Primo Colon & Rosa Mendes)-
Miz wins clean with the Skull-Crushing Finale in eight minutes, then cuts a promo saying that he will retain his title against Justin Gabriel just that easily.

We get a video package to hype up the Kofi vs. Neville vs. Kalisto match at Night of Champions.

HANDICAP MATCH: Two Jobbers vs. Alexander Rusev (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)-
Before the match Lefort cuts a promo explaining that he asked for this handicap match so that he can demonstrate that even with two wrestlers teaming up against him- as those two colluders Roman Reigns and Big E. Langston will surely do at Night of Champions- Rusev will still emerge victorious. Rusev squashes that jobbers with ease while Lefort declares him to be the next WWE Intercontinental Champion.

We get a pre-taped interview with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to build up their #1 contendership match against Rollins and Ambrose at the PPV. They say that regardless of whatever issues they have with Seth and Dean, it has been a dream of theirs to win the WWE World Tag Team Titles together, so they are going to leave it all in the ring at Night of Champions.
Later in the night we get a pre-taped interview with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose very similar in tone to the one with Owens and Zayn.

NATALYA NEIDHART & EMMA vs. SUMMER RAE & TAMINA-
Babyfaces win clean in six minutes when Emma makes Summer tap to the Emma Lock.
Renee Young gets a reaction interview from the babyfaces. Emma cuts a promo saying that she will pull off a big upset victory and take the Divas Title from Charlotte at Night of Champions.
Renee asks Nattie if her return to the roster this week means that her husband’s recovery is going well. Nattie says that Tyson’s recovery is going very well and we may see him back in WWE a lot sooner than people are expecting.

We get a short promo live via satellite from Roman Reigns’ house where he is recovering from the chair-shots the League of Nations hit him with on Raw. He says he will retain the IC Title at Night of Champions.

ANTONIO CESARO vs. MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY-
Cesaro wins clean in twelve minutes. After the match, he cuts a promo saying that he will beat John Cena and retain the WWE Title at Night of Champions.

We get a pre-taped promo from Justin Gabriel saying that he will be at Night of Champions and he will beat The Miz for the US Title!

Next we get the contract signing for the Wade Barrett vs. Mark Henry match. Lefort is also required to sign the contract, agreeing to the stipulation that if Barrett loses, Mark Henry will get five minutes alone with Lefort in a steel cage. After the contract is signed, Lefort antagonizes Henry and gets Henry to try to grab him, but in doing so Henry takes his eyes off of Barrett, who nails Henry with a Barrett Barrage, knocking him out. The announcers tell us that this is probably going to be their game plan at the PPV as well, and that Mark Henry must learn to keep his focus on Barrett at all times during the match or else he will not get his five minutes with Lefort in the cage.

Ashley Flair cuts a backstage promo on Emma, saying that a few wins doesn’t change anything: she is still a chump and that at Night of Champions Ashley will retain her title with ease.

PAIGE vs. BRIE BELLA-
Page wins clean in four minutes with the Stretch Muffler. The announcers once again put over that Paige is being extra aggressive because she is frustrated that Ashley is ducking her, and they wonder if she might interfere in the Divas Title match at Night of Champions.

Big Show cuts a promo to hype up his PPV match against the returning Randy Orton. He speculates as to what Orton’s state of mind will be, and says that he knows he has to prepare himself for every possibility.

It is announced that tomorrow’s featured match on Superstars will be a Fatal 4-Way match between Kane, Ryback, Primo, and Darren Young. It is also announced that the Night of Champions Pre-show will feature a Four Corners match between Team Anger, The Colons, The Wyatt Family, & the Prime Time Players.

BO DALLAS & HEATH SLATER vs. THE BRAIN TRUST (w/Naomi)-
Jimmy Uso is on commentary. Brain Trust dominate the match. While they have control of the match, the Brain Trust mock the knee injury Naomi inflicted on Jey Uso on Raw. Brain Trust win clean in five minutes when Sandow makes Slater tap to the Figure Four Leg Lock.

Next we get the contract signing for the World Heavyweight Title match between Daniel Bryan and Sheamus. Bryan cuts a big babyface promo about how he is going to win the World Heavyweight Title once again while Sheamus cuts his big babyface promo saying that he is going to be a fighting champion and pick up where his twenty-eight month World Heavyweight Title reign left off and his match against Bryan at the PPV will be the first of many, many successful title defenses.

We get a short promo live via satellite from Big E. Langston’s house where he is recovering from the chair-shots the League of Nations hit him with on Raw. He says he will win the IC Title at Night of Champions.

JOHN CENA vs. BRAY WYATT (w/the Wyatt Family)-
Cena wins clean with the AA despite the Wyatts’ machinations. The Wyatts try to jump Cena after the match but Ryback and Harper bump into each other which allows Cena to face each guy one a t a time and they all eat AAs. After the match Cena cuts a big promo saying that while he hasn’t been getting it done in big matches for the past few years, this Sunday, at Night of Champions, he will put that curse to rest and once again emerge as a champion.

Superstars: (9/18/2015)
Our featured match is Kane vs. Ryback vs. Primo vs. Darren Young. Primo’s interview and video package focuses on the fact that he wants to win this match. Darren Young uses his so he and PTP can talk about having millions of dollars and being rich, unlike the fans who have to pay for the privilege of seeing them. Kane’s focuses on Team Anger’s philosophy of using their anger to motivate themselves. Ryback’s focuses on his belief in Bray Wyatt, and that even though things might seem to be going poorly for them now, he believes that listening to Bray will see them through everything in the end. Bray also uses part of Ryback’s video package to preach his message that submitting to him is the only way to defeat your inner demons.

FATAL 4-WAY MATCH: Darren Young (w/Titus O’Neil) vs. Kane (w/Team Anger) vs. Primo Colon (w/Epico Colon & Rosa Mendes) vs. Ryback (w/the Wyatt Family)-
Kane wins clean in fifteen minutes when he pins Primo after a chokeslam.

NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS RUNDOWN

WWE Night of Champions 2015: (9/20/2015)- Houston, TX

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Sheamus(c) vs. Daniel Bryan
After almost a month of waiting, Sheamus finally defends the title he regained at Summer Slam for the first time. He says this will be the first defense in a reign that will surpass even his last reign, which lasted an amazing 28 months. Daniel Bryan looks to send Sheamus home extremely disappointed.

WWE TITLE MATCH: Antonio Cesaro(c) vs. John Cena
The man once known by the moniker of "Big Match John" looks to finally reverse his fortunes in big-match situations and leave Night of Champions with his first championship victory in over two years.

WWE US TITLE MATCH IN WHICH THE TITLE CHANGE HANDS ON A COUNT-OUT OR A DQ: The Miz(c) vs. Justin Gabriel
The South African hihgh-flyer looks for his first singles gold in WWE, and if the Miz wants to prevent him getting it, he will have to do so without the benefit of the "champion's advantage."

WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Roman Reigns(c) vs. Big E. Langston (w/Mark Henry) vs. Alexander Rusev (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)
Roman Reigns believes that Big E. Langston has earned a shot at the IC Title. Sylvester Lefort has made unfounded allegations that Roman, Big E., and Big E.'s mentor, Mark Henry, have been colluding together to keep the title on Roman instead of giving Rusev a shot. Now both Rusev and Big E. get their shots.

WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Ashley Flair(c) vs. Emma
Ashley won the Champions' Beat The Clock Challenge and earned the right to handpick her challenger... and picked the woman on the biggest cold streak in the Divas division. In the past week, Emma has stepped up her game significantly. Will Ashley's handpicked tomato can leave the champ with egg on her face at the end of the night?

WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Usos(c) vs. The Brain Trust (w/Naomi)
The Brain Trust injured Jey Uso's leg during last week's contract signing. Will the Usos be able to overcome this disadvantage, or will the self-proclaimed smartest team in the WWE's nefarious plan finally lead them to tag team gold?

#1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose
Two teams of best friends square off to determine which one of them will get to live the dream of challenging for the tag team titles together.

RANDY ORTON vs. BIG SHOW
Orton returns to action for the first time since his loss to Daniel Bryan in a Last Man Standing match at Summer Slam... and he has his work cut out for him facing a giant hungry for a big victory.

DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. A MYSTERY PAUL HEYMAN GUY
Ziggler declared himself to be "the greatest Paul Heyman Guy of all time," but another Paul Heyman Guy contacted Paul E. to take exception to this. Now Ziggler must put his money where his mouth is and must do so without the benefit of knowing who his opponent is in advance.

IF MARK HENRY WINS, HE GETS FIVE MINUTES ALONE WITH SYLVESTER LEFORT IN A STEEL CAGE: Mark Henry vs. Wade Barrett (w/Sylvester Lefort)
Mark Henry took serious exception to Lefort's allegations that he colluded with Roman Reigns in an attempt to get his protege Big E. Langston an Intercontinental Title match. Now the World's Strongest Man looks to make Lefort pay for his slanderous words... but if he wants to do that, he'll have to go through Wade Barrett first!

PRE-SHOW MATCH #1: Kalisto vs. Kofi Kingston (w/Big Show) vs. Adrian Neville (w/Justin Gabriel)
A three-way battle of the high-flyers. This one could steal the show before the show even officially begins!

PRE-SHOW MATCH #2: The Prime Time Players vs. Kane & R-Truth (w/Jack Swagger) vs. The Colons (w/Rosa Mendes) vs. The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper) (w/Bray Wyatt & Ryback)
Four tag teams in serious need of a win face off!

WWE Night of Champions 2015: (9/20/2015)- Houston, TX

PRE-SHOW:
We do a quick rundown of the card, then spend some time recapping the stories involved in the League of Nations’ feuds, spending extra time putting over the stip that if Mark Henry beats Wade Barrett, he’ll get five minutes alone in a steel cage with Sylvester Lefort, and we focus on the steel cage hanging ominously above the ring.

We get a backstage promo with Paige implying that she might run in during the Divas Title match because she is tired of Ashley ducking her.

FOUR CORNERS TAG TEAM MATCH: The Prime Time Players vs. The Colons (w/Rosa Mendes) vs. Team Anger (Kane & R-Truth) (w/Jack Swagger) vs. The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper) (w/Bray Wyatt & Ryback)-
Team Anger wins clean in nine minutes when Truth pins Titus after the Lie Detector.

We spend some time hyping the Paul Heyman guy who will be Ziggler’s mystery opponent, saying that Heyman and Steph have promised it to be a HUGE name. We tease some possibilities (assuming we can get their consent to use their names) including RVD, CM Punk, and Rhino. Brock Lesnar is never mentioned once.

We get promos hyping up the two world title matches, putting over the same things they’ve been building the two matches around.

We are scheduled to have an interview with the returning Randy Orton but are told that he has refused to do the interview. The announcers question what this could mean about his current mindset.

KALISTO vs. KOFI KINGSTON (w/Big Show) vs. ADRIAN NEVILLE (w/Justin Gabriel)-
They have a crazy display of high-flying athleticism. Neville wins clean in sixteen minutes, pinning Kofi after the Red Arrow. I’d make sure this goes on as close to the end of the pre-show as possible (maybe have it end with around ten minutes left in the pre-show) and basically spend the rest of the pre-show plugging that if you buy the PPV/subscribe to the WWE Network, you’ll get to see great action like this all night long.

MAIN SHOW:
The show opens with Dolph Ziggler coming out and saying that he is tired out waiting to find out who is opponent will be. He wants his match right now. Paul Heyman comes out and says that Steph has okayed this change to the order of the card, so the opener will now be…

DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. CHRIS JERICHO-
Rather than managing Ziggler, Heyman joins the commentary team for this match. He obviously puts over both guys, and reminds us all of his connection to Jericho, repeating the WWE party line that Jericho was one of the many future stars who got his first big break when Paul Heyman recognized his talent and brought him to ECW. Dolph wins clean in fifteen minutes with the Zig-Zag.

WWE UNTIED STATES TITLE MATCH: The Miz(c) vs. Justin Gabriel-
They go for a few minutes before we get a double-down, at which point Tyson Kidd runs out from the crowd and assaults the Miz, causing a DQ. Security runs out to break it up while the announcers remind us why Tyson is so angry at The Miz (his whole plan to seduce Nattie, plus he has now been bragging about injuring Tyson Kidd with the Sharpshooter).

IF MARK HENRY WINS, HE GETS FIVE MINUTES ALONE WITH SYLVESTER LEFORT IN A STEEL CAGE: Mark Henry vs. Wade Barrett (w/Sylvester Lefort)-
Before the entrances for this match start, we spend a moment or two with the camera focused on the steel cage hanging ominously above the ring. Barrett enters first, and we make sure to get a shot of Lefort nervously looking up at the cage. Some security guys come out to surround Lefort to make sure that he cannot run away if Barrett loses.
They go for about ten minutes and Mark gets some good false finishes in so we can see how nervous Lefort is, but Wade Barrett eventually manages to knock Mark out with the Barrett Barrage, saving Lefort from having to face the consequences of his false allegations.

We get a quick backstage announcement from Steph. First she replays Paige’s promo from the pre-show, then announces that if Paige interferes in this match she will never get another title shot against Ashley.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose-
We have an action-packed but completely clean match won by Rollins & Ambrose when Rollins pins Zayn after a Phoenix Splash in eighteen minutes. Handshakes and respect all around after the match.

RANDY ORTON vs. BIG SHOW (w/Kofi Kingston)-
Orton wins clean after an RKO in fourteen minutes. He wrestles completely cleanly, but does nothing to show that he is a babyface or a heel. Cole notes that he seems 100% focused on his opponent, not even thinking about the crowd, about Kofi Kingston on the outside, or about anything else. After the pin he doesn’t even wait for the referee to raise his hand. He gets off of Big Show, rolls out of the ring, and walks to the back. Renee tries to get a reaction interview, but Orton completely ignores her.

WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Roman Reigns(c) vs. Big E. Langston vs. Alexander Rusev (w/Sylvester Lefort, Wade Barrett, & Lana)-
The announcers let us know that Mark Henry is not out here with is protégé Big E. Langston because he is still being checked out by WWE doctors after being knocked out by Wade Barrett earlier in the night.
Despite Lefort’s claims, Roman and Big E. do not gang up on Rusev. Roman wins clean to retain the title in thirteen minutes, pinning Big E. after a spear.

WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Ashley Flair(c) vs. Emma-
The match starts with Ashley taking Emma lightly, but she learns her lesson after Emma gets two or three nearfalls off of roll-ups. Emma puts up a great fight, even managing to lock in the Emma Lock twice, but Ashley gets to the ropes both times and eventually picks up the clean win with Bow to the Queen in thirteen minutes. She offers Emma a handshake after the match, but when Emma reaches out to take her hand, Ashley nails her with a hard clothesline. She sets up to lock in the Figure Eight, but Paige runs out so Ashley runs away through the crowd. Paige helps Emma up.

WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Usos(c) vs. the Brain Trust (w/Naomi)-
The Brain Trust work over Jey Uso’s leg, which they had injured on Raw, but the Usos overcome this and win clean in twelve minutes with simultaneous top rope splashes.

WWE TITLE MATCH: Antonio Cesaro(c) vs. John Cena-
After a hard-fought, back and forth match, Cesaro wins clean in twenty-three minutes, pinning Cena after a Gotch-style Neutralizer.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Sheamus(c) vs. Daniel Bryan-
Bryan works over Sheamus’ arm and neck with the Yes Lock while Sheamus works over Bryan’s head hitting three different Brogue Kicks, but Bryan kicks out each time. After yet another hard-fought, back and forth match even more epic than the previous match, Bryan counters an attempted High Cross into a sunset flip for the flash pin to win the World Heavyweight Title, ending Sheamus’ reign in just his first title defense. Bryan celebrates while Sheamus stands there, frozen in shock. The referee gets the World Heavyweight Title from Lilian Garcia and hands it to Bryan, raising Bryan’s hand... and Sheamus charges forward nails Bryan with a Brogue Kick right in the back of the head!
Bryan collapses to the mat, unmoving.
“WHAT THE HELL!?” screams Cole.
JBL rushes into the ring to get between Sheamus and Bryan while the referee checks on Bryan and medical personnel (soon followed by Steph) come out to attend to Bryan.
Sheamus starts screaming in rage, but instead of continuing to attack Bryan, he heads to the back, stopping to pick up the ring steps and angrily chuck them up the ramp.
Bryan is still unmoving and is carried off on a stretcher. When the PPV goes off the air, he still hasn’t moved.

Announced for tonight’s Raw is a lot of tag team action. Michael McGillicutty & Kalisto will team up to take on the Brain Trust, Emma & Paige will take on Ashley Flair & Brie Bella, we will see WWE World Tag Team Champions The Usos team up with the #1 contenders Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose to face all four members of the Wyatt Family, Mark Henry & Big E. Langston will face The Colons, Kofi Kingston & Big Show will face the Prime Time Players, and in our main event, Team Anger takes on WWE Champion Antonio Cesaro, Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns, & John Cena.
Also on tonight’s Raw, WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley will update us on new World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan’s condition, Sheamus will address the WWE Universe regarding his actions last night, and Justin Gabriel has been granted another shot that The Miz’s US Title after last night’s disqualification caused by the returning Tyson Kidd.

Raw: (9/21/2015)- Laredo, TX
The show opens with replays of the finish of the main event of Night of Champions and its aftermath: Bryan rolling Sheamus up for the pin and celebrating with the belt, then Sheamus nailing Bryan with a Brogue Kick in the back of the head and Bryan being stretchered out.
Steph comes out and announces that Daniel Bryan is still in a hospital in Houston. He suffered a very severe concussion and we don’t know when he will be ready to return. She calls out Sheamus and asks him if he has anything he would like to say about his actions. Instead of apologizing, Sheamus starts ranting and raving and insisting that it was a two-count and he kicked out because there is no way he could possibly lose HIS title in just his first defense after everything he did as champion in his first reign. Legions of security come out. Sheamus tries to fight them off but the locker room empties out and eventually Sheamus is restrained. We go to a commercial, and when we return, we are shown footage of Sheamus being handcuffed by security and led out of the building.

BIG SHOW & KOFI KINGSTON vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS-
Big Show & Kofi win clean in ten minutes when Big Show pins Titus O’Neil.

Bray Wyatt cuts a backstage promo saying that although the Wyatt Family has suffered setbacks recently, those setbacks are inconsequential. Bray says he will lead his followers to glory because when you believe in Bray Wyatt, anything is possible. He says that tonight they will use his greatest failure- Dean Ambrose- as inspiration to drive his team to victory. He warns that those who do not trust in Bray Wyatt will wind up like Dean Ambrose: unbalanced, unstable, and unsuccessful. In the background, we see Ryback looks a little incredulous at this last line. The announcers are also incredulous, pointing out that Dean has been successful since leaving the Wyatt Family, having not only won the WWE Title Money in the Bank Briefcase, but also having just won #1 contendership to the WWE World Tag Team Titles last night at Night of Champions.

MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY & KALISTO vs. BRAIN TRUST (w/Naomi)-
Brain Trust win clean in twelve minutes when Sandow pins McGillicutty.

Miz cuts a backstage promo saying that it is bullsh*t that Gabriel is getting another shot at the US Title. He had his shot last night and he got DQed when Tyson Kidd ran in to help him. Whether he wanted it or not is not Miz’s problem.

ADRIAN NEVILLE vs. RANDY ORTON-
Gabriel is not at ringside with Neville because he is preparing for his US Title shot later tonight. Orton wins clean in twenty-five minutes with an RKO. The announcers put over how Orton seems to be “completely focused on his opponent.” Renee tries to get a reaction interview with Randy but he just ignores her and keeps walking back to his dressing room.

EMMA & PAIGE vs. ASHLEY FLAIR & BRIE BELLA-
Ashley keeps ducking Paige. Paige makes Brie tap in seven minutes with the Stretch Muffler. Ashley grabs her title and runs off as soon as Brie starts to tap.

We get a backstage promo with Cena & Cesaro building up tonight’s main event. Renee asks if there is any animosity between them from last night. They say there isn’t and put each other over. Cena shakes Cesaro’s hand and says he was the better man last night, just like at Summer Slam.

BO DALLAS vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Paul Heyman)-
Before the match, Heyman puts over Dolph’s victory over Jericho last night. When Bo gets to the ring, he cuts a promo saying he very excited for this opportunity to impress the legendary Paul Heyman and hopes that after tonight, Paul will take him under his wing as the next Paul Heyman Guy. Ziggler audibly laughs at this while the announcers also say there is no chance in hell of this happening. Dolph wins clean in four minutes, but Bo does get his obligatory roll-up for a false finish spot in.

THE WYATT FAMILY vs. SETH ROLLINS, DEAN AMBROSE, & THE USOS-
Babyfaces win clean in twenty minutes when Seth pins Ryback after he eats a double superkick from the Usos into Dirty Deeds from Ambrose and then into a Phoenix Splash.
After the match Seth and Dean cut a promo saying they are happy to be #1 contenders to the tag titles, but they still want to get revenge on Brain Trust for attacking them in the #1 contendership gauntlet a few weeks ago. Owens and Zayn come out and say that they were thinking the same thing… but they have all learned from the last week or so that things will go smoother if they take turns getting their revenge instead of getting in each other’s way… and since they are gracious losers, they will let Rollins and Ambrose get some revenge on the Brain Trust first.

Sylvester Lefort cuts a backstage promo saying that the “colluder” Mark Henry got what he deserved at Night of Champions, but Roman Reigns and Big E. have yet to face justice for their actions, including colluding to prevent Rusev from winning the Intercontinental Title last night. (The announcers remind us that Lefort’s accusations are all BS).

MARK HENRY & BIG E. LANGSTON vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Mark and Big E. are angry about Lefort’s comments and take it out on the Colons, pretty much squashing them. After the match they cut a promo where Big E. says he is ready any time Lefort wants to send someone out here to fight him.

WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: The Miz(c) vs. Justin Gabriel-
(Neville isn’t out here with Gabriel because he has been sent to the hospital to check on a possible injury suffered during his match with Randy Orton earlier tonight).
They go for about a minute or two before Tyson Kidd comes charging out at Miz, who runs off through the crowd. Tyson tries to go after him but Justin Gabriel intercepts him and shoves him, shouting at Tyson to stop ruining his title matches. Tyson responds to this by slugging Gabriel- causing a DQ- and then takes off after Miz.

Roman Reigns cuts a backstage promo saying he is angry about Lefort’s comments as well, so he went to Steph who booked Roman & Big E. vs. The League of Nations on Smackdown.

TEAM ANGER vs. ANTONIO CESARO, ROMAN REIGNS, & JOHN CENA-
Team Anger wins clean in twenty-five minutes when Kane shockingly pins John Cena clean after a chokeslam.

Post by Big Red Machine » Jun 24th, '16, 00:31

Announced for Smackdown are Justin Gabriel vs. Tyson Kidd, Roman Reigns & Big E. vs. The League of Nations, and Brain Trust vs. Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose.

Main Event: (9/22/2015)
The League of Nations come out and Lefort cuts a promo explaining that he wants to prove that the league of Nations is better than Mark Henry & Big E. Langston, so he went to Steph and got the League of Nations booked against the Colons for tonight’s show so that they can prove their superiority by destroying the Colons even faster than Mark & Big E. did on Raw.

THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes) vs. THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)-
It’s clear that the League was expecting to beat The Colons quickly but The Colons put up quite the fight. Eventually Barrett nails one of them with the Barrett Barrage for the victory in seven minutes.

We get a video package recapping the segment on Raw dealing with Daniel Bryan’s injury status and Sheamus’ outburst and ranting on Raw.

THE MIZ vs. MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY-
A few minutes into the match Tyson runs out to attack Miz, causing a DQ. McGillicutty confronts Tyson over this, which allows Miz to escape. Tyson lays out McGillicutty then turns to go after Miz but he isn’t there. When Tyson realizes what has happened, he sees Miz running through the crowd and goes to give chase but Steph comes out and tells him that if he chases Miz he will be fired. Justin Gabriel comes out as well and yells at Tyson for running his US Title shots both at Night of Champions and on Raw. Tyson cuts a promo saying he wants to get his hands on Miz for what Miz did to Nattie (both hitting on her and putting her in danger so that he could play the hero). Steph offers Tyson a deal: if he doesn’t interfere in Justin’s rematch with Miz on Superstars, she will give him The Miz 1-on-1 next week on Raw. Tyson agrees.

We get a backstage promo where Lefort claims that the fact that Mark Henry & Big E. beat the Colons so much faster than the League of Nations did is proof that they were all colluding together. He then cuts a promo to build up to the League of Nations vs. Big E. & Roman Reigns match on Smackdown.

EMMA vs. NAOMI (w/Brain Trust)-
Naomi wins clean with the Figure Four Leg Lock in ten minutes.

We get a commercial advertising a “Best Buddies” tour of a WWE sponsor (someone like Buffalo Wild Wings) where the idea is that Best Buddies Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will be vising Buffalo Wild Wings locations around the country during the week of October 4th-11th and hanging out. This includes days when WWE programming will be airing, so you can actually sit down and watch Raw or Smackdown with Seth and Dean.

Paige cuts a promo saying she wants a match against Ashley because Ashley “has a lot to pay for.”

ADRIAN NEVILLE (w/Justin Gabriel) vs. SAMI ZAYN (w/Kevin Owens)-
Neville wins clean in fifteen minutes.

It is announced that Sheamus has been sent home and will not be at this week’s Smackdown.

WWE.com announces that this Friday night’s live event in Toronto there will be a battle royale for a shot at the IC Title at some point next week.

Additional matches announced for Smackdown include:
Paige vs. Naomi, Usos vs. Big Show & Kofi, The Wyatt Family vs. PTP, Bo Dallas, & Zack Ryder, and WWE Champion Antonio Cesaro teams with former friend- and current enemy Dolph Ziggler (and his former manager Paul Heyman) to face John Cena & Kalisto.

Smackdown: (9/24/2015)- Corpus Christie, TX

THE USOS vs. KOFI KINGSTON & BIG SHOW-
Usos win clean in nine minutes, pinning Kofi.

Byron Saxton knocks on the door of Orton’s locker room to try to get some comments from him about his match with Sami Zayn tonight but Orton doesn’t respond to the knocking. Byron says that he swears he saw Randy go in there, but then just kicks it back to the announcers.

TYSON KIDD vs. JUSTIN GABRIEL (w/Adrian Neville)-
Nattie isn’t at ringside with Tyson because she is getting ready for her match, which is next. The match goes for about a minute of very unfriendly striking before Miz runs out and lays both guys (and Neville) out with a steel chair. The announcers take this opportunity to plug Miz’s US Title defense against Gabriel tomorrow night on Superstars and his grudge match against Tyson Kidd on next week’s Raw.

Emma cuts a backstage promo saying that she is appreciative of what Paige has done for her, but she can’t let Paige fight her battles for her. She needs to get her hands on Ashley for herself.

NATALYA NEIDHART vs. BRIE BELLA-
Brie rolls Nattie up for the clean in three minutes. The announcers put over that Nattie is concerned about Tyson’s condition after that vicious assault by The Miz.

Byron Saxton goes to Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens’ locker room to get comments from Zayn on his match with Randy Orton later tonight. Sami says that this is a big test for him.

Steph gives us another update on Daniel Bryan’s condition… and it’s still not good (maybe we can get some footage of AJ visiting Dragon in the hospital). She says that they might be forced to make a drastic decision very soon. She says that after Sheamus’ behavior on Raw, she will have to make a decision about him as well.

Paige cuts a backstage promo saying Emma has it all twisted. She doesn’t want revenge on Ashley for attacking Emma after their match at Night of Champions. She wants Ashley’s title and she is sick and tired of Ashley dodging her… which is why she is quite annoyed that she has been booked against Naomi tonight and not Ashley, but she’ll just pretend she is seeing Ashley every time she punches Naomi in the face.

SETH ROLLINS & DEAN AMBROSE vs. BRAIN TRUST (w/Naomi)-
Rollins & Ambrose win clean in ten minutes when Ambrose pins Otunga after Dirty Deeds. The announcers plug Naomi’s match with Paige later on tonight.

NAOMI vs. PAIGE-
We are told that Brain Trust aren’t out here with Naomi because they are being attended to by the trainers after the beating they took from Ambrose and Rollins earlier tonight. Paige immediately charges at Naomi with a hard forearm and they have a hard-hitting brawl that eventually spills to the outside. They keep brawling until they are counted out. Ashley then runs in from behind and attacks Paige. Emma runs out to make the save. Total time should be about seven minutes.

RANDY ORTON vs. SAMI ZAYN (w/Kevin Owens)-
They go for about fifteen minutes. Orton is laser-focused on Zayn, with the announcers noting that he is even able to tune out Owens’ snark from ringside. Orton wins clean with an RKO.

Byron interviews Team Anger backstage. He asks them about their “upset victory” over the team of IC Champion Roman Reigns, WWE Champion Cesaro, and John Cena, with Kane pinning Cena. Kane tells Byron that when people say their win was an “upset” it makes him very angry… but that’s a good thing because that is just more fuel for his fire. He says they will keep winning big matches, etc. etc. including the battle royale for a shot at IC Title that is taking place on tomorrow night’s house show in Toronto.

ROMAN REIGNS & BIG E. LANGSTON (w/Mark Henry) vs. THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)-
The League of Nations wins in eight when Lana distracts the ref, allowing Lefort to hit Big E. with brass knuckles, allowing Rusev to pin him. As the League celebrate and head to the back, an angry Mark Henry grabs the mic and tells Lefort that if he is always going to get involved in their matches, why not just make it official and have a six-man tag.

Renee Young interviews Cesaro about having to team with Ziggler and Heyman despite their break-up back in the spring. Cesaro says that he is glad that the break-up happened because it taught him what a snake Dolph Ziggler is. He says he will be watching his back tonight.

THE WYATT FAMILY vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS, ZACK RYDER, & BO DALLAS-
On his way down to the ring, Bo tells the camera that he thinks his team has a good chance of beating the Wyatts. To the shock of everyone, they actually do win the match in eight minutes when Ryder rolls Harper up for the pin. Everyone is completely stunned at this result.

Renee Young is interviewing Dolph Ziggler and Paul Heyman about having to team with Cesaro after their big break-up back in the spring. Dolph says that he is going to get the victory for their team and therefore prove that he is better than Cesaro and that he is the best Paul Heyman Guy of all-time.

JOHN CENA & KALISTO vs. ANTONIO CESARO & DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Paul Heyman)-
Cesaro and Ziggler win in twelve minutes when Cesaro lays Kalisto out with the Gotch-style Neutralizer but Ziggler tags himself in and steals the pin.

Superstars: (9/25/2015)

Tonight’s featured match is Miz defending the US Title against Justin Gabriel after their previous title matches this week have ended in DQs because of Tyson Kidd trying to get his hands on Miz. That won’t happen tonight due to the deal Steph made with Tyson on Main Event which we recap here.
Justin’s interview focuses on him wanting to win a singles title for the first time in his five and a half years in the WWE. We also get comments from Neville on what a great friend Justin is and how much he wants to see Justin succeed here.
Miz’s interview is all him bragging, saying he doesn’t sweat Justin Gabriel and he doesn’t sweat Tyson Kidd, either. We also recap Miz’s attack on Kidd, Gabriel, and Neville last night on Smackdown.

WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: The Miz(c) vs. Justin Gabriel (w/Adrian Neville)-
Miz wins clean in twenty minutes when Gabriel misses a 450 and then Miz nails him with the Skull-Crushing Finale.

Toronto House Show- (9/25/2016)- Toronto, ON

The Battle Royale for an IC Title shot is won by Ryback, despite all of the other Wyatts being eliminated in the first few minutes.

On Saturday morning WWE.com has a report about the battle royale and announces that Ryback will get his title shot this week on Smackdown.
On Monday it is announced that Steph will be making a “MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT” about the status of Daniel Bryan and the World Heavyweight Title.

Also announced for Raw:
Tyson Kidd vs. Miz, Zayn & Owens vs. Brain Trust, and the main event of John Cena vs. Randy Orton!

Raw: (9/28/2015)- Buffalo, NY
The show opens with Stephanie McMahon making her major announcement:
The concussion that Daniel Bryan suffered from a post-match Brogue Kick to the back of the head from Sheamus at Night of Champions is very severe. There is still no timetable for his return… and when combined with the many concussions he received during his years on the independent scene… we don’t know if Bryan will ever be cleared again. As a result WWE has been forced to VACATE the World Heavyweight Title.
A new champion will be determined by the 2015 KING OF THE RING tournament, starting this Saturday at the WWE Network special from Madison Square Garden and concluding during the now re-named King of the Ring PPV in Los Angeles on 10/25. It will be a 16 man single elimination tournament, and all of the former world champions on the WWE roster will be participating… including BROCK LESNAR and CHRIS JERICHO… as well as several at large entrants chosen by WWE Management. There will also be one entrant who will be determined at the 10/3 MSG show via a battle royale of everyone not otherwise qualified for the tournament.
One man who will NOT be in the tournament, however, is the former World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus. WWE has decided to suspend Sheamus indefinitely for his actions, both in causing Bryan’s injury and for his behavior on last week’s Raw.

After a commercial break to let the big announcement sink in, the announcers recap Ryback’s victory in the battle royale for an IC Title shot on Friday’s live event in Toronto, and tell us that he will be getting his title shot this week on Smackdown.

INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. THE WYATT FAMILY (Luke Harper & Ryback) (w/Erick Rowan & Bray Wyatt)-
Wyatts win clean in twelve minutes when Ryback pins Gabriel after a Shell Shock. After the match the Wyatts leave ringside, and while Airstrike are still recovering, Sylvester Lefort comes out and offers them a place in the League of Nations. Neville grabs a mic and quickly and definitively shoots this idea down, saying that they don’t want to be aligned with a scumbag like Lefort. The announcers speculate that this was Lefort trying to find new members of the League of Nations to replace him in tonight’s six man tag where he will have to step into the ring along with Barrett and Rusev to face Roman, Mark Henry, & Big E.

Team Anger cut a promo saying that their anger will fuel them to victory in the King of the Ring tournament and either Kane or Swagger (both former world champions) will emerge as the new World Heavyweight Champion and then everyone will understand that channeling anger into motivation is the true path to success.
ZACK RYDER vs. MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY-
Ryder wins clean in seven minutes. The announcers put over that every win means even more now as everyone is trying to impress WWE Management and earn themselves one of the at-large spots in King of the Ring so they can become the next World Heavyweight Champion.

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn cut a backstage promo reminding us that Brain Trust also attacked them when they attacked Rollins & Ambrose last month so they will be going for their revenge against Brain Trust tonight.

THE MIZ vs. TYSON KIDD (w/Natalya Neidhart)-
Almost as soon as the match starts, The Miz runs away through the crowd. Tyson gives chase, but Miz manages to get to his car and drives out of the building, leaving a furious Tyson Kidd throwing things around the parking lot.

Dolph Ziggler & Paul Heyman cut a promo saying that Dolph will win King of the Ring and become the next World Heavyweight Champion.

FATAL FOUR-WAY: Emma vs. Nikki Bella vs. Paige vs. Alicia Fox-
The announcers make sure to remind us that both Emma and Paige are looking to get their hands on WWE Divas Champion Ashley Flair. Emma makes Fox tap to the Emma Lock in eight minutes.

We get a report from backstage that Kevin Owens has been found unconscious and is being taken to the hospital. We get a promo from Sami Zayn saying that Brain Trust must be behind it and instead of having their match cancelled he’ll face both member of Brain Trust by himself!

ROMAN REIGNS, MARK HENRY, & BIG E. LANGSTON vs. THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS…
After the babyfaces have come out, the League makes their entrance. Lefort is dressed to wrestle, but instead of getting onto the apron he grabs a mic and introduces the man who will team with Rusev and Barrett tonight: a special, one-night-only member of the League of Nations… FINN BALOR!

ROMAN REIGNS, MARK HENRY, & BIG E. LANGSTON vs. THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (Wade Barrett, Alexander Rusev, & Finn Balor) (w/Sylvester Lefort & Lana)-
The announcers try to be both angry that Lefort has wormed his way out of this match but also thrilled to see NXT Champion Finn Balor on Raw. The heels once again win when Barrett knocks out Big E. after a distraction by Lefort. As the heels leave Mark Henry challenges them to a handicap match on Smackdown, specifying that it must be Wade, Rusev, and Lefort taking on him and Big E. (Roman is already booked to defend his IC Title against Ryback). Lefort accepts.

Byron Saxton goes to Randy Orton’s locker room to try to get some thoughts on either his main event match with John Cena or on Steph’s big announcement of the King of the Ring tournament to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion. Randy doesn’t answer the door even though a backstage person swears that Randy is in there.

HANDICAP MATCH: Sami Zayn vs. Brain Trust (w/Naomi)-
Sami fights valiantly but gets beaten in twelve minutes. After the match, Otunga runs Sami hard into the ring steps and then drops them on Sami’s knee while Sandow cuts a promo saying that Sami is an imbecile for wanting to face them two-on-one.

Ashley Flair cuts a backstage promo saying that if both Paige and Emma want to get their hands on her then they should try working together and accept her challenge for a match against her and Naomi on the 10/3 MSG WWE Network special.

Bo Dallas cuts a backstage promo saying that he thinks maybe he will be handed one of the at-large spots in the tournament. The announcers dismiss this possibility, but JBL puts over that at least Bo is thinking positively.

KOFI KINGSTON & BIG SHOW vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Big Show & Kofi win clean in two minutes when Show catches one of the Colons with a WMD. The announcers put over Big Show’s power and that he can knock someone out at any time. They tell us that the combination of his size and knockout power should make him a favorite in King of the Ring.

The Wyatt Family cut a backstage promo in which Bray puts over their victory tonight as a result of his leadership and says that if they all follow his leadership on Smackdown then Ryback will be the new Intercontinental Champion.

Naomi comes out to the ring and grabs a mic and demands to know why Ashley thinks she is going to team with her. Ashley comes out and tells Naomi that she will give her a title shot if they beat Paige and Emma on Saturday. Naomi agrees to this deal.

SETH ROLLINS & DEAN AMBROSE vs. ANTONIO CESARO & KALISTO vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. THE USOS-
We get several face-offs between Rollins/Ambrose and The Usos to remind us that Rollins & Ambrose are #1 contenders to the Usos’ titles. Rollins & Ambrose win clean in fifteen minutes when Ambrose pins Kalisto after Dirty Deeds.

Cole tells us that Steph has officially sanctioned the Paige & Emma vs. Ashley & Naomi match for the WWE Network special.

Stephanie McMahon comes out to the ring. She first calls out Tyson Kidd, then instructs the production people to get Miz on the phone and play it via the PA. She says that she wants to settle things in this feud, and she thinks she has a solution that will be acceptable to both parties: Tyson says he wants to get his hands on The Miz but Miz says that Tyson only wants a title shot… so what if they have a match and no matter what the outcome is, Tyson agrees that he will not get a shot at the title as long as Miz is champion. Tyson says he is fine with this. He just wants to get his hands on The Miz. Miz likes this, too… but then Steph tells Miz that because he has been running away lately, she feels it is only fair to Tyson to ensure that he gets what he wants as well, so if Miz wants to make this deal, he will have to accept a Falls Count Anywhere match. Miz starts trying to backtrack, but Steph verbally corners him, pointing out that if- as he claims- he is only running away from Tyson because Tyson doesn’t deserve a title shot and not because he is afraid of Tyson, he should have no problem accepting this deal. Miz reluctantly accepts the deal, and Steph announces that the match will take place on the 10/3 Garden show.

RANDY ORTON vs. JOHN CENA-
They go for twenty-five minutes with Orton winning clean with the RKO. The announcers spend the match putting over this as a possible preview of the finals of the King of the Ring tournament for the World Heavyweight Title.

WWE.com reports that both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be out of action for a few days due to injuries suffered at the hands of the Brain Trust.

Main Event: (9/29/2015)

Main Event opens with a recap of the big announcement about Sheamus’ suspension, Bryan’s injuries, vacating the World Heavyweight Title, and King of the Ring. We are then given a full list of those who have been invited to the tournament by virtue of being former world champions: Brock, Big Show, Jericho, Ziggler, Cena, Orton, Kane, Swagger, Miz, Mark Henry, and former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Rhyno! We have also learned the first at-large entrant into the tournament as well as have our first official match announcement (other than the battle royale to earn the final spot): This Saturday night at Madison Square Garden live on the WWE Network, Chris Jericho will face current WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns.

THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes) vs. THE WYATT FAMILY (Bray Wyatt & Ryback) (w/Erick Rowan & Luke Harper)-
Wyatts win clean, destroying the Colons in four minutes. After the match Bray cuts a promo calling WWE Management afraid of his message. He says that despite all of their previous glorification of Dean Ambrose for defying him, they are still afraid of his message and thus won’t give him a spot in the tournament because they know that if they do he will win the tournament and will prove that when you believe in Bray Wyatt, anything becomes possible. He also plugs Ryback’s upcoming IC Title match with Roman Reigns on Smackdown, saying that even if WWE won’t let him into King of the Ring, Ryback’s victory over Roman will demonstrate the great success that can only come from following Bray Wyatt.

BO DALLAS vs. TYSON KIDD (w/Natalya Neidhart)-
Tyson is very aggressive and kicks Bo’s but in six minutes. The announcers put over the idea that he is taking his anger at Miz out on Bo.

Sylvester Lefort cuts a backstage promo accepting Big E. Langston & Mark Henry’s challenge to a handicap match on Smackdown against himself, Barrett, and Rusev.

TEAM ANGER vs. THREE JOBBERS-
Team Anger squash the jobbers in a minute.

DAMIEN SANDOW (w/the Brain Trust) vs. KOFI KINGSTON (w/Big Show)-
Sandow wins clean in twelve minutes.

ALICIA FOX vs. ASHLEY FLAIR-
Ashley wins clean in fifteen minutes with the Figure Eight.

NXT: (9/30/2015)
There is an interview with Finn Balor where he explains that he hasn’t joined the League of Nations, but he really wanted the opportunity to compete on Raw, and so when Lefort came to him with the offer, he accepted.
Also, some other stuff happens that I haven’t figured out quite yet and isn’t relevant for right now.

Smackdown: (10/1/2015)- Buffalo, NY

The show opens with a recap of all of the big announcements regarding King of the Ring so far, as well as the announcers telling us about yet another first-round match that has been announced for the WWE Network special on Saturday night: Dolph Ziggler vs. Rhyno! The announcers tell us that Steph will be out here a little bit later on to announce who will receive the three remaining at-large entries into the tournament. They also tell us that although the Usos aren’t here tonight (because they are doing publicity for WWE in LA, the home of the King of the Ring PPV and tournament finals later this month), they will be at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night and they will be defending the WWE World Tag Team Titles. Steph will have more on that later on as well.

INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS-
PTP win in nine minutes when Darren Young pins Justin Gabriel via roll-up with his feet on the ropes for illegal leverage.

Renee Young interviews John Cena. She notes that he has lost a lot of high-profile matches recently, being pinned by Cesaro and Kane last week and by Randy Orton just a few days ago on Raw. She asks if these losses will affect his momentum going into the King of the Ring tournament. Cena says they won’t. Each match is a new match, and he won’t let previous losses get into his head. If his opponent beats him, he can deal with that. If he beats himself, though, he won’t be able to forgive himself.

BO DALLAS vs. DAMIEN SANDOW (w/the Brain Trust)-
Sandow wins clean in five minutes.

We next go to video of a sit-down interview that Byron Saxton did earlier today with WWE Divas Champion Ashley Flair. Byron asks “the question that has been on everyone’s mind: Why did Ashley set up this match at the 10/3 WWE Network special where she is teaming with Naomi against Paige and Emma and offer to give Naomi title shot if they win?”
Ashley asks what is so strange about that. Byron says that it is a little out of character for her to try to arrange something that could result in someone getting a shot at her title if she doesn’t have to because she hasn’t been much of a fighting champion. Ashley takes offense to Byron’s claim that she hasn’t been a fighting champion, insisting that she has been trying to protect the prestige of the title by insisting that only worthy challengers get title shots. She explains that she considers Emma and Paige to both be extremely unworthy so she took steps to set up a situation where she can not only try to prove that those two don’t deserve a title shot but also to test Naomi’s worthiness for a title shot.
Byron brings up the fact that Paige says that Ashley is ducking her and offering Naomi a title shot is just her latest strategy to put off a match with Paige. Ashley insists that this is untrue and abruptly ends the interview.

BIG SEGMENT FULL OF IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS BY STEPH-
Steph comes out to make some big announcements regarding both the King of the Ring tournament and the WWE Network special this Saturday night live from MSG. She first announces that one of the three remaining at-large entrants will be Wade Barrett.
She then asks for Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to come out. She tells them that she is planning on offering them the final two at-large spots in the tournament, but… in order to have the tournament scheduled in the way that WWE Management has decided is the best way to promote it, the first round must be completed by next week’s Smackdown. As we all know, Seth and Dean will be missing next week’s WWE shows because they have volunteered to go on the “Best Buddies Tour” of our fine WWE sponsor (Buffalo Wild Wings or whoever). AS a result of this, if they are going to be in the tournament, they need to have their matches at this Saturday’s show at MSG, and if they want to do that she will put them in the tournament... but she also has an alternative proposal for them:
Instead of the King of the Ring tournament berths, she will give them the WWE World Tag Team Title match they earned at Night of Champions in the main event at Madison Square Garden! Dean grabs a mic and cuts a promo about his childhood memories watching Shawn Michael vs. Razor Ramon and Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart at WrestleMania X and how he has always dreamed of main eventing a show at Madison Square Garden and he knows Seth has wanted to do that, too, so they will take the tag title match at the Garden instead of the KOTR berth. Seth looks a bit taken aback, but adds that they will make the most of this opportunity and win the tag titles!
Steph wishes them good luck and they head to the back. She says she will have to do some thinking about who Seth and Dean’s KOTR berths will go to.
Steph now shifts to talking about the tag team division. She promises that she has a major surprise for the tag division at this Saturday’s WWE Network special. She says that this mystery team are such a big deal that they would have gotten the tag title shot at MSG if Seth and Dean had turned it down, but even though they now aren’t getting the tag title shot, they will still be in action this Saturday. Steph starts to run down the card for Saturday’s show and is about to head to the back when she is interrupted by Damien Sandow who says that he must speak to her about a matter of great importance.
Sandow points to his victories this week as well as his long IC Title reign last year and says that he should get one of the now-open spots in KOTR. Steph points out that the whole reason this tournament is even happening is that Sheamus attacked Daniel Bryan after a match and injured him to the point where he had to vacate the title… and Brain Trust did the same thing to Sami Zayn on Raw, so why the hell should she reward him with a spot in the tournament. Sandow points out that David Otunga was the one who attacked Sami after the match, and he claims to have had no prior knowledge whatsoever of Mr. Otunga’s plans. In fact, Sandow claims to have reprimanded Otunga for doing so once they got to the back.
Steph points out that he and Otunga also attack Kevin Owens backstage earlier that night and attacked him. Sandow hastily responds by saying “you have no proof that I did that! That could have been anyone.” Steph says that Owens says it was Brain Trust, but Sandow says he thinks Owens is lying, and that he probably just tripped and fell and hurt himself and was too embarrassed to admit it so he made up a story.
Before Steph can respond, the Wyatt Family’s music plays and Bray Wyatt comes out onto the ramp. He repeats his promo from Main Event, telling Steph that if she is truly not afraid of the truth of his message then she should have no objection to putting him in King of the Ring and giving him a fair opportunity to win the tournament and represent her company as the World Heavyweight Champion. Steph thinks for a moment, gets a determined look on her face and tells both Sandow and Bray that they will be in King of the Ring, then excuses herself to go back to her office to work on setting up the brackets (and we go to commercial).
When we get back from that commercial we get a recap of the previous segment, followed by a…

HANDICAP MATCH: Mark Henry & Big E. Langston vs. The League of Nations (Sylvester Lefort, Wade Barrett, & Alexander Rusev) (w/Lana)-
They go for about eight minutes with Lefort staying on the apron while Rusev and Barrett do the fighting for him. They get the heat on Big E. and Lefort decides to tag in to stomp on the downed Big E. Lefort then gets very cocky and picks Big E. up to try to go for a bodyslam but Big E. instead grabs Lefort and hoists him up for the Big Ending but Lana runs into the ring and rakes Big E.’s eyes, both saving Lefort and causing a DQ. The League of Nations high-tail it out of there. Steph then appears on the TitanTron from her office to tell us that we will get a rematch on Saturday night at MSG… but this time there will be no disqualifications!

Bo Dallas cuts a backstage promo saying that he is a little disappointed that he wasn’t chosen for one of the at-large spots in the King of the Ring tournament… but he remains, as ever, optimistic that he will be able to win the battle royale on the WWE Network special on Saturday night and for the final entry into the tournament and that he will go on to win it all and become the next World Heavyweight Champion.

EMMA & PAIGE vs. NIKKI BELLA & ALICIA FOX-
The announcers stress that Emma and Paige will have to work together to win on Saturday, just like they will have to do here. They eventually do, with Paige pinning Fox after the Rampage on Nikki for the pin while Emma holds Fox back to stop her from breaking it up.

We get a bunch of short promos about King of the Ring from Miz, Dolph, Roman, Big Show, and Bray. Paul Heyman cuts one on behalf of both Dolph Ziggler and Brock Lesnar. Obviously they all say that they will win King of the Ring and become World Heavyweight Champion.

WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Roman Reigns(c) vs. Ryback (w/the Wyatt Family)-
Bray instructs his guys to remember to follow his leadership. They use tactics similar to those they used last month against Cesaro where they had one guy distract the referee while the others would run in and interfere, except that this time the referee catches Bray in the act on the third interference attempt and calls for the DQ in just six minutes. Ryback looks very unhappy. The other Wyatts are angry and Bray orders them to go after Roman but Roman manages to escape them, even laying Rowan out with a spear on his way.

We get a pre-taped promo from Chris Jericho vowing to win King of the Ring and become the next World Heavyweight Champion.

Next we have the contract signing between The Miz and Tyson Kidd. Miz refuses to come out to sign unless there is security out there to protect him from Tyson. Once Miz signs the contract Tyson climbs onto the tables and dives onto both Miz and the security. Miz runs away up the ramp and Tyson gives chase. Miz runs all the way to his car and leaves the arena, once again leaving Tyson Kidd angrily throwing things in the arena parking lot. The announcers put over that on Saturday Miz can run all he wants but eventually Tyson will catch up to him because it’s Falls Count Anywhere!

TEAM ANGER vs. ANTONIO CESARO, KALISTO, & KOFI KINGSTON (w/Big Show)-
Team Anger wins clean when Kane pins Kalisto.

On Friday morning, WWE.com posts the brackets for the tournament:
Bracket A first round-matches are Cena vs. Miz and Roman vs. Jericho.
Bracket B first-round matches are Orton vs. Kane and Dolph vs. Rhyno.
Bracket C first-round matches are Brock vs. Sandow and Bray vs. Mark Henry.
Bracket D first-round matches are Swagger vs. Barrett and Big Show vs. the winner of Saturday’s battle royale.

Superstars: (10/2/2015)
Tonight’s featured match is a ten man tag between ten men who will be in the King of the Ring tournament for the World Heavyweight Title. It will be John Cena, Kane, Wade Barrett, Big Show, & Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton, Jack Swagger, The Miz, Rhyno, & Roman Reigns. Everyone gets interviews to push that they will win KOTR and win the World Heavyweight Title. Miz and Roman talk about being double champions, Kane and Swagger talk about how winning will prove their belief that focusing you anger is the best motivator. Rhyno talks about wanting one more run at the top before he retires. Cena talks about wanting to prove that he can still come through in big matches. Orton’s interview is simply him saying that he is going to win, with no bragging or additional comments whatsoever.
They also push that between these ten men there are four first-round match-ups (Kane/Orton, Wade/Swagger, Cena/Miz, and Dolph/Rhyno).

RANDY ORTON, JACK SWAGGER, THE MIZ, ROMAN REIGNS, & RHYNO vs. JOHN CENA, KANE, BIG SHOW, WADE BARRETT, & DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Paul Heyman, Sylvester Lefort, Lana, & Rusev)-
The match goes twenty-five minutes. Aside from the first-round match-ups the announcers also talk about several possible match-ups down the line, including the possibility of guys from the same stable like Kane and Swagger or Dolph and Lesnar having to face each other down the line. Cena pins Rhyno clean.
