Best way to do this would be to have him only do chinlocks and grounded armbars and change his name to "Matt Gordon."

You've obviously lost it! THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN lol.

That would take implying and acknowledging that someone else is their equal which is just impossible...plus who are you gonna really use for that spot these days? ROH? TNA/Impact? I'm not implying there's not 10,000 independents to do business with....I didn't see anyone besides Evolve which basically IS WWE at this point.
When they come, they'll come at what you love.

They apparently already bought the rights for PROGRESS and/or ICW so I don't think it's impossible.

Exactly!

Airing shows on their network is in NO WAY acknowledging someone else as an equal, they don't even treat 205 or NXT as their "equal". It's really no different than offering the libraries they've already bought, of which nobody is presented as an equal - not even WCW, just in this case said "library" is a current one. If they can sell more subscriptions through talent that they don't have to pay/book/negotiate... why not!? Obviously, being on WWE Network would be a very appealing option to ANY fed, especially international ones. It's really win/win!

They've already got Evolve and Progress in their back pockets, with NOTHING (so far) in it for these "sisters". I could absolutely see it happening. I think they even pitched it in one of their surveys last year as a "Top Tier" option.
