Post by NWK2000 » Feb 18th, '15, 23:27

(Note: There are some story elements that occurred on the go-home Smackdown. Dean's leg is re-injured thanks to a sneak attack from J%J security, and Stephanie McMahon announced at the end of Smackdown that anyone who could eliminate Dolph Ziggler or Ryback gets $100,000 a piece)

Pre-show
The Masters of the WWE Universe and Adam Rose def The New Day in an Elimination Tag Match

-Cesaro pinned Xavier
-Big E pinned Tyson Kidd
- Cesaro gets Big E counted out after Big E injures his shoulder with a missed running corner shoulder tackle and Cesaro works it outside of the ring, the big spot of which being Cesaro swinging Big E shoulder first into the barricade
-Kofi Pins Cesaro
-Adam Rose pins Kofi.

The Show
The Ascension def The New Age Outlaws
The Ascension destroy both men, both get stretchered out.

The Usos (c) def The Miz and Damien Mizdow for the Tag Team Championship

Jimmy pins Damien. The Miz is knocked off the apron accidentally by Jimmy during the finishing sequence while trying to hand Damien a pair of brass knuckles. The Miz berates Damien for losing.
The Bella Twins (Brie and Diva's Champion Nicki) def Natalya and Paige via DQ When AJ Lee interferes pulling Nikki off the apron.
-Natalya and Paige have the match won until AJ interferes. It takes Nattie, Paige, Brie, and a few officials to stop AJ from stomping a mudhole in Nikki. AJ stops only to tongue kiss an unexpecting Brie Bella and punch her lights out before leaving.

Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) def Seth Rollins (w/ J&J security) and John Cena for the WWE Championship

The Royal Rumble match)

- Dolph Ziggler and Adam Rose are #1 and # 2. Dolph gets knocks Adam off the apron relatively early, but the Rosebuds catch him and crowd surf him around the ring before sliding him back in.
-#3 is Titus O'Neil. Adam and Titus work over Dolph, Adam hits The Party Foul on Dolph
#4 is NXT's Finn Balor. He makes his full ring entrance. Adam and Titus stop to watch the. Finn swiftly counters several double team attempts by Titus and Adam. Because his entrance was so long, this is all he manages to do before the next entrant comes out.
#5 is Fandango. Fandango, surprisingly, hits dropkicks on all 3 standing men in the ring. Finn stands up to take a second one but gets knocked down by another. Titus and Adam meanwhile, are ready to fire back with offense, but Fandango puts up his hands and shouts "STOP" in a comedic gesture. He motions to a still prone Dolph. They help him position him for his big leg, but in the set up, they forget about Finn, who runs full tilt to shove Fandango off the top rope and to the floor.
Elimination #1: Fandango
Finn Balor has some words with Fandango as he leaves, which allows Titus and Adam to jump Finn, once again working him over. Dolph sneaks up from behind on Adam and hits the Zig Zag. He throws him over the top rope again, but again, the Rosebuds catch him, crowd surf him around the ring, and slide him back in. Meanwhile, Titus O'Niel hits a Spinebuster on Finn
#6 is Sin Cara. He hits a springboard missle dropkick on Dolph, and then his top rope Senton. He then attempts to throw Adam Rose out, but he hangs on. Frustrated, he tries to throw out Dolph, but he also hangs on.

Elimination #2: Titus O'Neil
Adam Rose gets hit with the Wazzap Drop, but gets pulled out of the ring by The Bunny who crawls out from underneath the ring. The Bunny takes a powerbomb from Bubba immediately after entering the ring. Bubba and D-Von do the "GET THE TABLES" spot and hit The Bunny with the 3D through the table, "eliminating" him. JBL sells this like it's the greatest thing that's ever happened. Bubba and D-Von try to eliminate Finn and Dolph individually, but they both hang on, earning synchronized respectful nods from both Dudleyz.
#8 is Goldust. Before entering the ring, Goldust tries to get to Adam Rose, but the Rosebuds form a defensive circle around Adam. Goldust gets in the ring and is immediately intercepted by The Dudleyz. However, Finn Balor and Dolph Ziggler join in the melee against the Dudleyz. Goldie and Finn have a brief staredown, admiring each other's paint, before going back to work.

However, Bray counters out of it, eliminating both men.
Elimination #5 Finn Balor
Elimination: #6: Goldust
#10 is The Miz. Damien Mizdow is with him. The Miz demands Mizdow take his place. Mizdow begrudgingly complies. Bray tries to hit Damien with a right hand but he ducks and hits The Miz's backbreaker/neckbreaker combo, as well as The Elbow of Disdain. Bray takes control relatively quickly however, and throws Damien over the top rope. The Miz berates Sandow for losing once again, before stepping into the ring, and immediately being knocked over the top . JBL wonders if this breaks the record. The Miz is healthy enough to berate a semi-conscious Mizdow before leaving in a huff.
Elimination #7: The Miz
Bray takes the mic and starts singing "He's Got the Whole World in his Hands" but notices Dolph trying to climb his from the apron to the ring. He roughly grabs Dolph and throws him to the floor, hitting the running Senton on him. He then picks him up and hits The Sister Abgail

Entry #11 is Luke Harper who stands on the entrance way watching. Bray preps to throw Dolph over the top when
BONG!
The lights go out!
BONG!
BONG!
The lights come back on, and Bray's haunted rocking chair is at its normal place at ringside! Bray looks elated, like a kid at Christmas. He shouts to the heavens, "SHE HAS SPOKEN TO ME! THE TIME HAS COME!" dropping Ziggler, throwing himself over the top rope, and walking up the ramp. Luke looks just as excited, but Bray says, "Go. This is something I have to do on my own. I will not sacrifice anyone else for this. This is why I set you free." before walking to the back. Luke then manages to hit a big boot on a standing Ziggler
Elimination #8: Bray Wyatt

Elimination #10 Kofi Kingston
R-Truth walks right into a double chokeslam by Kane and The Big Show and is eliminated.
Elimination #11: R-Truth
Meanwhile: Kane slides under the bottom rope, clearing away the huddled together Rosebuds and throwing Adam back in the ring, for Big Show to KO Punch and eliminate
Elimination #12: Adam Rose

Dean tries to jump Big Show, but is knocked off of Big Show's back and KO punched for his efforts. Kane works the leg of Dean. Meanwhile, Big Show attempts to gorilla press a stunned Dolph Ziggler over the top, but Dolph wiggles out of it, falling to the floor. Big Show attempts to pick up Dolph as the countdown clock counts down
#19 is RANDY ORTON. He charges to the ring, causing Big Show and Kane to duck out through the second rope. Dolph staggers to his feet, Randy beckons for the Authority to face them both.....AND HITS DOLPH WITH AN RKO! He easily picks up Dolph and throws him out
Elimination 13: Dolph Ziggler
Randy Orton then Garvin stomps the leg of Dean Ambrose before Big Show and Kane come back in, joining in on stumping a mudhole in Dean. Cole takes the time to note that Kofi is still on the ground writhing in pain from his elimination earlier

Elimination #14: Big Show
Orton however, is conscious enough to throw Cesaro in under the bottom rope, essentially feeding him to Ryback, who meathooks him over the top rope.
Elimination #15: Cesaro
Luke Harper slides back in to brawl with Ryback. Luke Harper gains the upper hand kicking Ryback in the balls and hitting him with a Big Boot. Luke stands triumphant in the ring while Kane and Dean are near the bottom rope, nursing their respective wounds. Luke glares unblinking at the ramp until the next person comes out
#22 is Curtis Axel. Except, coming out behind him is Erick Rowan, who backdrops Axel onto the stage, then charges for the ring. sliding in and quickly eliminating Rowan with a Big Boot

LOVED the bounty angle. That was genius, and fits SO PERFECTLY with the way things were set up for this year's rumble.

Loved the Dean-Renee thing at the end, too. That's how you do smarky humor.

I thought the way you described Woods' reaction to the idea of the triple powerbomb was perfect. You also did a great job writing Bray!

1/26/15 Raw
Stephanie McMahon welcomes us to Monday Night Raw! She recaps the Royal Rumble 2015 Pay Per View, and welcomes the Royal Rumble winner, Dean Ambrose! Dean hastily takes Stephanie’s mic,
“Brock, last year, you had a classic match with Undertaker. But this year, at Wrestlemania, I want a STREET FIGHT! I-“
Dean is interrupted by “Mental” Paul Heyman’s theme. He hustles to the ring and grabs a mic
“Dean, you can’t simply make any match you want, or take the boss’ mic..” Heyman said, obviously sucking up to Stephanie, “My client is far too valuable to step into an anything goes fight with a psychopath. Stephanie, pacify your superstars”
“You don’t tell me what to do Heyman” she barks, “And Paul, maybe Brock in a Street Fight on the biggest show of the year is best for business.” She pauses to let the crowd pop, “But, I’m leaving it up to Dean. Dean, if you can beat an opponent of Paul Heyman’s choosing at Fast Lane, you’ll get your Street Fight. But, if you lose, it will be a regular match.”
Heyman grins like a Cheshire Cat as he begins to speak, “I choose someone who has not lost since the TLC Pay Per View….BRAY WYATT”
Stephanie: Good, I’m glad that’s settled. Now let’s look to tonight. Tonight, Dean Ambrose and a partner of his choosing against Kane and Big Show

Dean barks, “Roman Reigns”
Stephanie: I’m afraid there’s a bit of a problem with that
The titantron flares to life showing a downed Roman Reigns with medics checking on him in the middle of a hallway.

Stephanie: Since your buddy Roman seems to be incapacitated it looks like you’ll be fighting them in a handicapped match!

John Cena’s music hits, and he runs out of the ring, grabbing Heyman’s mic from him, “Stephanie, you know damn well Kane and Big Show took out Roman . I’ll be your partner Dean. If you accept”
“I accept!”

This ends the segment as Cole, Lawler, and JBL plug the main event

Finn Balor def Fandango
Finn beats Fandango clean, and show cases the majority of his offense. Bray Wyatt appears on the titantron, begging Finn to “show him his dark side” in a match on Smackdown

After the commercial break, we are informed that Roman is experiencing back spasms and will be out for an indeterminate amount of time.

The Ascension squash Stardust and Goldust. They throw Stardust out of the ring and hit Goldust with the Fall of Man. Goldust is stretchered out.

Naomi def Nikki Bella.

Nikki has the heat when AJ Lee comes out and distracts and Naomi wins with a roll-up

Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett comes to the ring to cut a promo. He says he’s in a great mood. He says that ruining Daniel Bryan’s return dream. And thus the dream of Daniel’s fans, has put him in this great mood. He says he’s feeling generous. He’s issuing an open challenge for the intercontinental Championship, and out comes Stephanie McMahon! The commentators sell confusion. Stephanie lectures Bad News for being a bully, and since he’s a bully he doesn’t get to call the shots, she does. He will defend the Intercontinental Championship in a Tornado 2-on-1 handicapped match…..against Miz and Mizdow

Mizdow and Miz def Bad News Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship (Mizdow pins Barrett, Mizdow is the new champion)

Miz sends Mizdow in to do his bidding. Mizdow initially gets the upperhand on the surprised Barrett, hitting a neckbreaker and the Elbow of Distain. The Miz runs in to get the quick pin…..but Mizdow breaks it! The two argue and shove, which gives Barrett time to stand up and hit the Bullhammer to the back of Mizdow’s head, and try for a roll up, but the Miz breaks it up! The Miz and Barrett go blow for blow for several minutes until Barrett hits the winds of change off an Irish Whip for a two count. Barrett sets up for the Bullhammer, and hits it! One…two….th-NO! Mizdow pulls the ref out of the ring! The ref argues with Mizdow. Meanwhile, through the crowd comes Daniel Bryan! Barrett stands to confront him. He hits Barrett with the Knee Plus! Daniel Bryan runs back through the crowd as Mizdow and the ref re-enter the ring and Mizdow gets the three! Mizdow celebrates as Miz looks on in shock!

After the commercial, the announcers plug a #1 Contenders match for the US Title just announced, Ryback vs Cesaro!

Ryback def Cesaro (w/ Adam Rose and Tyson Kidd) clean with the Shell Shock after a competitive match. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods watch from the ramp.

A promo airs hyping the return of the Dudleyz, Naomi vs Nikki Bella for the Divas Title, Bray vs. Finn Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton, and Seth Rollins vs Sin Cara, all on this week’s Smackdown. King briefly questions why Seth is wrestling Sin Cara, but JBL berates him for questioning the Authority
Curtis Axel is up next for a promo. He says that he should be just as close to the title as Dean is, as he was never eliminated from the Rumble. Out comes his opponent tonight, the man who took him out, Erik Rowan! But Erik, much like Axel the night before, is hit with a backdrop from behind by Luke Harper! Harper drags Rowan to the ring and throws him in, starting the match. Rowan immediately attempts to mount a comeback, but as Rowan is running wild. Axel counters with a drop toehold, Rowan cries out in pain, and Axel quickly hits his neckbreaker into a facebuster finisher for the pinfall win!
Curtis Axel def Erik Rowan via pinfall.

Seth Rollins comes out for commentary for the next match

John Cena and Dean Ambrose def Kane and the Big Show by pin (Dean pins Big Show)

Dean starts, and after some clever brawling, like biting his way out of big power moves from Kane, gets leveled with a big boot. Kane makes the tag to Big Show and he works over Dean for several minutes. Dean finally gains momentum and makes the hot tag to Cena, who hits the five moves of doom on Show. Just as Cena is going for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, Kane interferes, setting Cena up for a chokeslam. As he’s raising Cena up. Dean hits a crossbody on Kane and the two tussle to the floor. Meanwhile, Big Show has staggered back to his feet. Cena sets up for the AA! He hits it! One, two thr-NO! Show kicked out! Cena looks midly surprised, hoisting Show up for another move! Low blow, but the ref didn’t see it because he’s admonishing Dean and Kane on the outside! Show walks over the prone body of Cena, doing his signature pose to get heat. He hits Cena with an Oklahoma Slam before dragging him over to his and Dean’s corner. He sets up for a Vader Bomb type maneuver, but Cena rolls out of the way! As he’s clawing his way up, we see that Dean has hit a Dirty Deeds DDT on Kane on the outside. He sprints to his corner as Cena hits a top rope Five Knuckle Shuffle. He thinks about going for the pin, but tags in Dean. Dean hits the Dirty Deeds to end it. Dean and Cena celebrate to Dean’s music as Seth Rollins walks up the ramp, posing with the briefcase, and leaving as the show ends.

Superstars

Titus O’Neil w/Heath Slater def a jobber. They cut a promo about how how Slater Gator are going to be the ones to fight the Dudleyz on Smackdown and they will succumb to the jaws of the Slater Gator!

Curtis Axel def R-Truth

Finn Balor def Jack Swagger

The Miz and Intercontinental Champion Damien Mizdow def Los Matadores with El Torito (Miz pins Fernando)

The Miz blind tags Mizdow as he’s gaining momentum, hits his finisher and wins. After the match, Miz demands he forfeit his IC Title to him. Damien simply waffles him with the belt and walks out. Miz meanwhile, sells a broken nose (think of how Cody Rhodes sold Rey’s 619 when he became Undashing) as the show closes
