The Perfect 10 Tye Dillinger. Yay or Nay?

Post by XIV » Apr 28th, '17, 19:05

So, I've been speaking to people about Tye Dillinger.

Many people are very down on him and don't think he's much.

But as people who know me know. I love a midcarder (Val Venis and Hardcore Holly still remain two of my favourite wrestlers of all time!)

I love Tye Dillinger. He'll never be a WWE World Champion, but... I think he's great... so what are the opinions here on The Perfect 10 Tye Dillinger?

I like him as a babyface underdog, i don't see him going anywhere higher than midcard, and he definitely shouldn't unless things change. I kinda see him as 07-09 Generico, that good guy everyone loves, gets beaten a lot, but when he wins, we're all happy.

Yeah this is basically where I see him. Maybe have the odd IC or US title run.

I don't know. I can't help but be happy when his music hits. I guess that means I'm a fan.

But the difference between Dillinger and guys like Val and Holly is that Dillinger has a stupid gimmick which the crowd has decided to use to annoy the f*ck out of every referee (and many fans) from now until eternity.

Val Venis's gimmick was properly stupid. But he still got over.

Dillinger's gimmick contains crowd interaction and WWE loves that stuff because for the few minutes that he's about it, the crowd actually look and feel animated.

Val's gimmick isn't stupid. It's definitely cartoonish, but it's not stupid. Dillinger just says "I'm the perfect ten." That all he does. Val's gimmick has things you can do with it.

I suppose you have a point.

Dillinger needs to tell us why he's the perfect ten. Or at least show us.

Because the only perfect 10 performer WWE has at this point is Nakamura.

Well, Owens has been slightly railroaded by facing the same people again and again and again.

AJ Styles you probably have a point on.

Roode. Aries. ^ To the above.

As far as Dillinger, get him outta here! That crazy shaved design in his hair as well!
When they come, they'll come at what you love.
