Post by Bulletclubfan2014 » May 25th, '14, 11:53

NJPW Back To The Yokohama Arena Never Openweight Title Match: Tomohiro Ishii vs Kota Ibushi: ****1/4 Great match Ishii is a great wrestler at just beating you up and Ibushi proved just like in his matches with Okada and Nakamura when put against a top guy who's bigger than him he will deliver an amazing match

I really don't get the hype about Ishii at all. He always kills his matches by not selling. It actually really annoys me.

If the shots he no sells are extremely stiff (which they are 9 times out of 10) I'll get so impressed I won't have a problem with it

Given how hard alot of the bumps they take are I just can't help but be impressed by them

So what did you think of Ishii vs. Shibata?

I liked it and BTW what I worded it wrong what I meant was if you are good at making it seem like you just got pissed off by the move and it fired you up when you no sell I have no problem with it while if you no sell similar to like TAZ did where he took the move then got right back up acting like he he just didn't feel like selling that I have a problem with but if it's fighting spirit where the move just fires you up I have no problem with it

What irked me here was that he would sell his arm and act like doing a lariat hurt him a lot... then he just got right up and did three more without selling it at all. There were no "I'm firing up now" fighting spirit movement or anything. He just stopped selling it.
