WOTW: Misuse of a Cage
WOTW: Misuse of a Cage
we've seen many many cage matches, some where normal cage matches, some were Hell in a Cells, some had electricity, some had weapons in the roof; hell, some had dogs inside... many have been great matches, but the same match was still possible without the cage...so what was the point of it? thus i ask, what has been the greatest misuse of a cage??
you can read it as
"this match didn't need a cage"
"they should never use the cage for those spots"
"this feud didn't need a cage match"
or any other way, just explain

some of the latest hell in a cell (ppv) matches really didn't need to have a cage around them, like DX vs Legacy

Yeah, but you have to give that match credit for using the cage creatively.RedSon wrote:some of the latest hell in a cell (ppv) matches really didn't need to have a cage around them, like DX vs Legacy

Can I nominate all of the Hell In A Cell PPVs?
Reality TV is faker than "fake" wrestling!

I actually said this, out loud, about NAO vs The Rhodes Bros a few weeks back.cero2k wrote:you can read it as

Technically it did because it was done to stop someone from ruining the match, like Lesnar had done the week before.Bob-O wrote:I actually said this, out loud, about NAO vs The Rhodes Bros a few weeks back.cero2k wrote:you can read it as

I think that Cody taking a risk and going for the moonsault was supposed to be the beginning of a break-up which seems to have been nixed

It just seemed a bit unnecessary. I'm just not used to them being able to hang a cage over the ring and use it whenever. I'm still in the mindset that a cage should close the show, they should be a big deal. Not used at the top of the hour... on free TV... featuring 3 guys in their mid 40's...

There might be in there forties, but Billy is fine in the ring and Goldust has been great for the past six months, even adding new stuff to his arsenal. It's not like the lazy-ass Sting or Kevin Nash matches we used to get in TNA.Bob-O wrote:I stand behind my words.Big Red Machine wrote:Technically it did because it was done to stop someone from ruining the match, like Lesnar had done the week before.Bob-O wrote:
