As you can imagine, people are going pretty nuts over this...

He's probably kidding to make people go on a wild goose chase. That or he's been possessed by Mike Quackenbush.

During the Raw post-show on PWTorch, either Wade Keller and Travis Bryant (I don't remember who said it) made the following point that I think is very important:

When Vince comes out he gets treated like a hero, with people cheering him and bowing and all of that stuff. If you want to send Vince a message, his appearances should be greeted with chants of "JUST RETIRE!" and "TRIPLE H!" Anything else both feeds his ego and reinforces the idea (which I think is often true, but that's another story) that wrestling fans just like chanting things and have something of a mob mentality, which, when combined with Vince's ego, makes him think that fan negativity is just their way of having fun rather than actual disapproval, because whenever he comes out, he gets cheered.

Quite the rap sheet, but I don't think any of it was said while he was under contract with wwe...

I doubt they do anything beyond pointing that out.

which means he was signed and pushed with them already knowing it. If this had been some other geek, he'd get fired for sure like they did with Rollins' old flame

maybe, but she got fired for doing riskque photos. I'm talking about the tattooed chick that had Rollins' dick pics, she had posted some nazi images on twitter years back and someone snatched them up and fired her, most likely to make Rollins happy.

She was also dating Sonya Deville for a while and had been giving off crazy vibes even before the Rollins dick-pick incident. She's a nut. Lars doesn't appear to be a nut so much as just a racist.

they're kinda generic phrases, wouldn't be hard to find stuff that would fit his new Slipknot gimmick

Just came across this video:

Is this supposed to be part of Bray's angle? If so, they need to not have it presented like it's a TMZ gossip segment, with the reappearance of a f*cking puppet talked about in the same exact tone as one big star apologizing to and offering himself as an ally for two other big stars.

I don't think this clip is intended to be part of the angle, I think they #minorspoileralert -ed it, I mean... as much as one can reading something that was on Twitter. We know how well communication is around there...

It's the tone of the show, it's how those shows work. They'll talk about a star over dosing and segway seamlessly to what somebody wore walking their dogs. To be fair, as invested as I am in the product right now, I was far more concerned about the fate of Ramblin' Rabbit than I am about the fate of The Shield.

Loving the direction though! Essentially harnessing all his evil to "help" the good? That's got some real potential!

It'd be REALLY cool if they had another highly marketable superstar that smiled way too much but harnessed all his evil for special occasions. They could work as a team, they could feud... I'd watch it... too bad they'll never find a high profile guy to fit the bill... he'd have to be a real Demon...

Hey! Shut up, you know I'm talking about Finn, leave Mojo out of this.

All of which is completely insane to me. Shooting your own angles should be a punishable offense, as should putting out something before you're supposed to.

Then they shouldn't be doing a show like this. We tried to attract the crowd that likes this kind of sh*t via Total Divas/Bellas and it completely failed. How does portraying the product like this help?

If Bray Wyatt has taught us anything, it's that nothing that would need to be nuanced has any potential when Vince McMahon is in charge. Bray, to me, is the ultimate flop of taking a character who had so much potential and utterly destroying him by taking one minor aspect of the character's vibe and deciding to make him ALL about that, and nothing else. If Hulk Hogan was coming up through NXT, Vince would look at the muscles, watch one promo, and say "I've got it! We'll make him a vitamin salesman!"
