Hojo was given the word that she has to come up with a new finisher. A lot of people questioned that. Hojo has the coolest looking elbow off the top rope in pro wrestling, probably the best since a young ICW-era Randy Savage. She was told that’s Bayley’s move. To those in Japan, it’s considered ridiculous because that’s the move she’s known for, but it’s a different world.

that's WWE for you

I wouldn't do it in WWE now, either, but not because it's Bayley's move so much as because so many people have been doing it since Savage died. And, of course, now that I type that the only ones who come to mind are Bayley and Punk, but I could swear others were as well. Plus there's Jay Lethal in ROH, and of everyone who has been using it, no one has been using it as a finish so I wouldn't use it.

Acting on a hunch I checked Zack Rdyer's Wikipedia article and he has been using it as a finish. But I still wouldn't want Zack Ryder's finish.

except no one does it like Hojo does it, it's like not allowing Sydal to do the SSP just because there are tons of them, he simply has the best.

These are some examples and yes, it's the best in the business.

I'm not saying it's not the best. I just think the move has been killed off a bit. They should put a six-month moratorium on them before they have her debut on the main roster.

she's probably gonna take that time to debut anyway, so they definitely show take it away from Bayley et al for now

This has apparently been blowing up over the past week. It's credited to Randy Orton.

Lance Storm's take on this (available on Killing The Town) is definitely worth hearing because he frames the debate in a slightly different way that I think really gets to the heart of the matter in a much less... mean... way.

We have a wood rod on a pole match and a house of horrors match in WWE, how would be even imagine he's in Impact. WWE doesn't allow to work both companies

House of Horrors clearly wasn't a Russo thing. If it was a Russo thing they would have done it all in the ring and the ring would be gussied up in stupid decorations.

Dude... that's nowhere near what Russo would do. Go watch the Prison Yard Match or the Last Rites Match or the Little Italy Street Fight, or any other number of abominations. Then go apologize to the WWE creative team.

Was the Dog Kennel Match between Al Snow & Big Bossman a Vince Russo thing? if I remember rightly, it was the last WWE PPV before he left for WCW.

Because that was a gimmick bag of shit match where the dogs didn't look mean, they didn't look terrifying, they took a few shits (mirroring the match itself) no-one was really involved in the angle or the feud (something involving Al Snow's dog Pepper and..... sorry I fell asleep just thinking about it) and it remains one of the worst WWE matches I've certainly seen.

So, complaints about no-selling from Randy Orton? That's rich...

Not quite along these lines but similar, there used to be a jobber in either Memphis or the Fullers' promotion named "Willie B. Hurt."

So I could make sure that no one missed the joke while still letting people figure it out for themselves first (rather than explaining it right there and possibly making someone feel like I didn't think they were smart enough to get it on their own. I was trying to be nice).
