Bandido Agrees To Terms With AEW

Post by XIV » Oct 6th, '22, 06:53

All Elite Wrestling is reportedly adding a former ROH World Champion to the roster.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Bandido has agreed to terms with the company. He made his AEW debut on the September 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he challenged Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship. Sapp noted he hasn’t heard that Bandido hasn’t officially signed, but he was offered a deal, and sources say he has agreed to the terms.

Sapp also cited sources who complimented Bandido’s demeanor and his attitude. After the match, fans in the arena posted a clip of Bandido being visibly excited and hugging AEW president Tony Khan.

The report also noted that there has been interest from several companies about potentially signing Bandido. In recent months, he has competed for IMPACT Wrestling, MLW, and GCW, among other promotions.

I haven't got into the Bandido hype yet, but he's a good acquisition. He's clearly talented and the people like him. Money well spent.

I'm going to disagree. He's a great wrestler, but not much else, and AEW already has more than enough of that.

Half the roster are fighting each other backstage.

This guy has no scandal.

I would mind seeing him smack Rush around, though.
