Injured superstar may possibly return at Summerslam

Bayley has been out of action for over a year after tearing her ACL. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has been teasing her return on social media. Although there is still no confirmation on when she’ll return, a new report may suggest that Bayley could be making an appearance at the next big WWE premium live event.

According to Pwinsider, Bayley is scheduled to be in Nashville, TN during SummerSlam weekend. It was reported that Bayley has been training at the WWE Performance Center for quite some time, so perhaps she’s ready to get back into the ring just in time for the “biggest event of the summer.”

Bayley recently teased that she could participate in the upcoming 20-women battle royal next week to determine the next contender for the NXT 2.0 Women’s Championship. She last held the NXT Women’s Title in 2016.
