Last night's NXT averaged 632,000 viewers on the USA Network. The number is identical to last week's viewership.

NXT finished 33rd on cable with a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 15.4 percent from last week. It's the best number the show has done in that category since September 21.

NXT faced strong sports competition last night, with three MLB playoff games and the opening night of the NHL season dominating the cable charts.

Viewership was up in all age categories with the notable exception of people over 50. NXT dropped 10.3 percent in that category, drawing a 0.35 rating. The biggest gains in viewership were with females 12-34, which doubled last week's record low rating, and males 12-34, which were up 66.7 percent. So NXT skewed younger this week after last Tuesday's episode had a median viewer age of 62.

As compared to the same week in 2020, NXT was down 2.9 percent in overall viewers and down 11.8 percent in the 18-49 demo. Even though the audience was younger than last week, it's still older than last year at this time.
