This December won't have a WWE pay-per-view.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that there won't be a WWE PPV taking place in the month of December this year. WWE instead has two PPVs set for January. WWE Day 1 will be held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on New Year's Day, while the 2022 Royal Rumble will take place at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis on Saturday, January 29.
It was originally announced that a WWE PPV would be taking place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, on Sunday, December 12. Prior to WWE deciding not to have a December PPV, those plans were changed to TLC being scheduled for Sunday, December 19 at a to-be-determined location.
An episode of SmackDown will be held at the Allstate Arena on Friday, December 17.
Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia is this month's WWE PPV. It's being held at Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh on Thursday, October 21. Next month, Survivor Series will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Sunday, November 21.
