Overnight viewership for last night's SmackDown on Fox saw the show average 2.261 million viewers, up 9.5 percent from last week.

It's the largest overnight viewership for SmackDown since April 10, which was the post-WrestleMania episode of the show, which -- in normal times -- is usually the highest number of the year.

Among new programming on the networks, SmackDown finished third out of five shows and overall was fifth out of eight shows in terms of total viewers.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown averaged a 0.6 rating, up 9.1 percent and matching the best number the show has done in that category since March 27. It beat out all other network programming.

In 18-34, the show averaged the same 0.3 rating it has in three of the previous four weeks. It was tied for second on the networks behind CBS' Love Island.

Bayley explaining why she attacked Sasha Banks the previous week, an Intercontinental title match between Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles, and Bray Wyatt revealing a new Firefly Fun House character were advertised in advance for last night's SmackDown. Roman Reigns & Jey Uso faced Baron Corbin & Sheamus in the main event of the episode.
