With The Undertaker beginning to make non-WWE personal appearances, he'll be taking part in May's Starrcast Convention.
Sports Illustrated announced today that The Undertaker will be appearing at Starrcast II. The convention is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada during the same weekend as All Elite Wrestling's Double or Nothing show.
“I know people might assume this is an AEW event, but that is not true,” Starrcast's Conrad Thompson told Sports Illustrated. “We have wrestlers appearing from every promotion from all over the world, and Starrcast isn’t just for All Elite Wrestling fans, it’s for all wrestling fans."
The convention will begin on Thursday, May 23 and end on Sunday, May 26. Starrcast bracelets will go on sale to the general public at noon Eastern time tomorrow (February 15). Sports Illustrated's article noted that Undertaker's event will go on sale later this month.
“The Undertaker experience is its own standalone experience at Starrcast,” Thompson said. “We are so proud to bring The Undertaker experience to fans this Memorial Day weekend at Starrcast II.”
Starrcast's graphic lists him as "Mark Calaway aka The Undertaker."
Dave Meltzer reported earlier this month that "one person attempting to book [Undertaker] said he is charging $25,000 per hour for appearances within the U.S. But he’s not taking regular bookings until the summer."
Undertaker's most recent in-ring appearance was at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia this past November, where he teamed with Kane against Triple H & Shawn Michaels. Undertaker also faced Triple H at Super Show-Down in Australia last October to set up the tag match.

Yeah, but you don't have to pay hotel and trans because he teleports.

He's not even worth 5 Thousand an hour at this point lol.
When they come, they'll come at what you love.
Re: The Undertaker to appear at Starrcast II
Just to be fair...
Vince paid Brock Lesnar at least 3.6 million dollars an hour for his match with Balor (probably more, that's based on 500k per match).
25k seems a little spicy, but it's a separate event, and it's a first (outside of WWE). They'd need to sell 500 tickets for this at $50 a pop to break even on it. They could do that easily given the circumstances.

They sold 10K+ for the next night, I would imagine at least half of those will go to starrcast.Bob-O wrote: ↑Feb 14th, '19, 22:11 Just to be fair...

Oh yeah...right. This is a convention and autograph type of thing...not some wrestling PPV...I was thinking "how many hours does The Undertaker think he can wrestle for anyways?!?!".
Still though.

I think it's just sticker shock... if you look at it as $25k an appearance, it's not ~as~ staggering.
I looked up some other going rates for celebrity booking, and 'Taker's asking price is on the low end of normal. Pete Rose, for example, charges between $20k and $40k an appearance to put it into perspective...
