The long-anticipated Will Ospreay vs. PAC match will become a reality in February.

Revolution Pro Wrestling has announced Ospreay vs. PAC (formerly Neville in WWE) for their High Stakes 2019 event at York Hall in London, England on Friday, February 15. PAC also faced Speedball Mike Bailey for RevPro last month and has a match against Zack Sabre Jr. set for RevPro's Live at the Cockpit show at The Cockpit Theatre in London on Sunday, January 6.

Sabre will be challenging for Tomohiro Ishii's RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 13 on January 4.

Ospreay had been building up a match against PAC prior to today's announcement, tweeting "Give. Me. PAC." when it was confirmed in August that PAC was no longer under contract with WWE.

After a year away from the ring, PAC resurfaced for Dragon Gate at a show in early October. He started to make his first post-WWE European independent appearances last month.

Excellent. Now we just have to cross our fingers and hope that Ospreay doesn't win the NEVER Openweight Title at the Tokyo Dome so that politics won't make the outcome of this match obvious.

you mean NJPW giving the win to PAC as an excuse to get him for New Beginnings?

I don't see that happening. If they were going to bring him in, they'd bring him in for the Dome.

PAC just won the DG title, regardless if Ospreay wins the title or not, PAC now has an argument to not lose that match

True... although this now just makes me think that there is no way that Ospreay wins (and that he probably won't win the belt form Ibushi at the Dome so he won't be champion when he loses here). But Pac winning is the right move, anyway.

You better be talking about Ospreay, because PAC's abs have abs of their own

I think Ibushi taking the title towards 2019 was going to be the end game regardless, with Ospreay winning it from Power Struggle to WK just a way to get the match and transition the title. It be a short reign, but a heavyweight-ish rub for Ospreay who I feel is jumping HW this year's G1

What they should do with Ospreay, Ibushi, or even KUSHIDA is to actually use the "OPENWEIGHT" part of the name and have one of them win the belt and defend against all comers, regardless of weight class.

What would Ospreay gain by going heavyweight? He'd be the #4 guy in CHAOS, as opposed ot being the #1 jr. heavyweight and facing guys like Marty, Hiromu, KUSHIDA, Sabin, Shingo, Ishimori, Sho, Yoh, Dragon Lee, Volador Jr., Titan, (I'd even throw Desperado, Kanemaru, Rocky, and BUSHI in there).

Just mixing it up with the heavyweights and doing G1 really, UNLESS Kenny does leave, Ospreay becomes the no 1 gaijin, even over Jay White

He can't be the #1 heavyewight anything so long as he is in CHAOS.

that'd be an easy change, for all we know, Okada properly replacing Tanahashi means going stable-less

they're older, I can see them being Ospreay's left/right hand men. Only problem i really see is that they're pushing White right now and idk if they'd push two top gaijins

They began heavily pushing White before it was clear Omega was leaving, so I can totally see it.
