Much like the previous night's episode of Raw, SmackDown ratings held steady this week. Coming off Crown Jewel, SmackDown was down just one percent from last Tuesday.

The 2.088 million audience total was virtually identical to two weeks ago and was one of SmackDown's lowest numbers of the year.

On a night where coverage of the United States midterm elections dominated both the networks and cable television, SmackDown failed to crack the top 20 in terms of total TV viewership on the night. While SmackDown usually finishes first in the 18-49 demo, this week they fell all the way to 17th with a 0.68 rating.

In addition to the election coverage, SmackDown also faced stronger-than-usual sports competition with the start of the college basketball season and the college football selection show -- which did two million and 2.9 million viewers respectively.

SmackDown retained 86 percent of the Raw audience from Monday night, the exact same as last week. Year-over-year, SmackDown was down almost 20 percent, the second largest such drop since the move to Tuesday nights.
