Although it had been all but officially announced after she began popping up in videos WWE shot at the WWE Performance Center last week, PWInsider.com has confirmed that former Impact Wrestling star and Mae Young Classic competitor Mia Yim has indeed signed with WWE.
Yim officially started with the company on 9/16, making her the first Mae Young Classic 2018 competitor to be officially confirmed as signing with the company. Yim defeated Allysin Kay (aka Sienna) in the first round of the tournament.
Yim, 29, worked under the ring name Jade in Impact Wrestling and under Mia Yim in a number of independent promotions including CZW (where she managed current NXT star Adam Cole), SHIMMER, SHINE. In Japan, she competed for Reina Joshi Puroresu and made appearances in Ring of Honor in the past as well.

Re: WWE Signs Mia Yim
YES. Mia's been one of my favorite female wrestlers for a long time, and I'm glad she'll be apart of the WWE.
