Tuesday night's SmackDown averaged 2.319 million viewers on the USA Network, down one percent from last week and five percent from the post-SummerSlam show two weeks ago.

SmackDown dropped to 10th overall in viewership on a strong night for cable and fell out of its usual top spot in the 18-49 demo. It finished third with a 0.77 rating, trailing Mayans MC on FX and The Bobby Brown Story on BET.

SmackDown retained the usual 80 percent of the Raw audience from the previous night, which was very slightly up from last week. SmackDown was down 10 percent in the year-over-year ratings, which has been the recent trend. This was the 12th straight week the show has had a decline from the same week in the previous year.

With network first-run shows set to debut in a few weeks, it's likely SmackDown's ratings will drop 5-10 percent from the current levels as it has done in previous years.
