Fandango to undergo surgery for torn labrum

Fandango is expected to be out of action for an extended period of time due to a shoulder injury.

WWE announced today that Fandango will require surgery for a left labrum tear in his shoulder. The surgery is scheduled to take place this coming Tuesday.

Fandango tweeted this morning: "Seeya guys in 6-? Months." He then thanked everyone for the love they've sent him.

WWE didn't indicate when Fandango suffered the injury or how long he's been dealing with it. His most recent appearance on television was on the episode of Main Event that was taped on June 25, where he teamed with Tyler Breeze & Bobby Roode to defeat Curt Hawkins & The Ascension.

After previously being on SmackDown, Breezango (Fandango & Breeze) moved over to the Raw roster in the Superstar Shakeup this April. Since then, they've been used as depth in the show's tag team division.

Breeze also tweeted today: "Well, damn."
