Tuesday night’s SmackDown averaged 2.183 million viewers, up two percent from last week’s 2018 low mark.

The episode was also up five percent from the same week in 2017, the first time in four weeks SmackDown was up year-over-year.

SmackDown finished ninth for the night in total viewers on cable, trailing mostly news shows, which were up due to the coverage of Donald Trump's summit with Kim Jong-un. SmackDown did top the ratings in the 18-49 demo (as it does most weeks) with a 0.66 rating.

The show retained 80 percent of the Raw audience from the night before, slightly less than what SmackDown has been doing of late but still in the normal range. Of note, this is the sixth straight week that SmackDown has been below 2.3 million viewers. Prior to that, they had only been below that mark once, on Halloween night, since June 13th of last year.
